Tell about your character here: Emily is a very sweet person and does care about people. She was going through a rough part of her life for a while but shes leaving the pieces behind and starting over. She feels that being a prefect would force her to be more welcoming to people than she already is. She was always the life of the party before she came to Beauxbatons and her first and into her second year here. But once things started to slip she couldn't gain control of it all and finally she's able to move on with her life, better it and she wants to be the old her in a sense, very friendly and welcoming and generally good mood type of person. She is that already but its buried in her and over time and with the help of a position like prefect, she'll be able to overcome her past. With her experiences, she'll also be able to help other people with their problems and she feels that a prefect is not only there to help people by making them feel welcome and helping them out around the school if their new, but to be there as a friend as a shoulder to cry on or someone to vent to. And Emily is good at being that person.

OOC: My activity on this site i think is great, I'm on everyday even if i have piles of homework. The site is always open and my tabs are saved when i close out of firefox so the next day when i boot up the internet, the site is there. I spend a lot of my time on this site, its my first home in actuality. I've been on this site for a little over two years and I've seen people come and go and what ideas have been brought to the table and how the site is run and what other prefects have done and I've definitely gained knowledge to help me if i was to get the position. In my opinion, I'm friendly to everyone and i really love being on this site and meeting new people and there are a lot of great people that i've met. This site has also allowed me to grow as a person and that i think is a really good thing when it comes to being a great asset to this site I understand the responsibility and am willing to take it and do my best as part of the staff on the site.

For practically her whole life Mercy has had to watch a farm, help take care of her younger siblings, and help clean the entire Swithin house along with her sisters so she's quite capable of being on her own. Though she does prefer the company, really the only person she's been able to truly talk to is her twin brother, Justice, who was always there for her. She doesn't care about what others think about her, or even say about her, no matter how harsh it could be or even how nice it could be. Growing up on a farm she doesn't know much about fashion, but just enough to get her by in the muggle world and the magical world. Mercy feels that god gave her a face which shouldn't be tampered with so make up isn't one of her top priorities, or even something she considers applying at all. She's not afraid to stand up to others, for others or for herself at all times since she loves helping others out especially when it comes to defending their pride.

Mercy is normally a kind and caring as well as somewhat over protective person especially with her friends and family. She feels the need to protect those she loves and hold dear to her no matter what it may cost her or what she's have to go through to do it. Normally mercy is kind to everyone she meets, giving them the benefit of the doubt and tries not to judge them before she gets to know them. But a lot of the time giving others the benefit of the doubt has somehow blown up in her face, especially when it comes to muggles. So now she's not as trusting, especially after her mother told her who the muggles truly where and what they were really doing there. Mercy can't stand the sight of others being hurt in any way shape or form and always does anything in her power to help them out.

A lot of the time Mercy give off that fragile vibe, especially to males, and three our of five times it happens she does it on purpose. A lot of people think it's a sort of strange trait of her's, and they're pretty much right, but she does it to really teach them a lesson if they're in need of one. Acting helpless and then later beating them at their own game is one of her favorite past times, she even used to do this to her brothers. To make them later feel week after being beaten by a 'fragile' girl could be a sort of ego crusher for them as well as a small laugh for her and others. She can't stand men who think women need help all the time, or can't even do simple tasks other then cooking and cleaning.

Why you would be good for the position:
IC: Mercy is a pretty sweet girl once you really get to know her a lot better and she really cares about others. She is quite able to solve problems since she's had to do it for 16 years (what happens when you have 9 brothers & sisters). Mercy is always the type of person who loves helping others whether she knows them well or doesn't even know their name yet. She's not perfect, but she knows the meaning of hard work and how much it really pays off.
OOC: Even so I've just started off on this site I know I'll be completely active with Mercy. I love helping others and I'm a very good problem solver. I know that I'll be able to sign on every day whether for just ten minutes or two-three house I'll be here (: I am a very responsible person and once I put my mind to something there isn't much that can stop me from reaching my set goal(s).

Tell about your character here: Lily was raised by her mother and grandparents as her father was always away on business trips with the ministry as he was involved in communicating with the British Ministry of Magic. When he did come he brought gifts for his parents, Lily and of course his wife. Soon Lily was growing up and was given a choice by her mother: she could go to muggle schools or stay at home. It was an easy choice for Lily as she loved muggle books and did not know what she could possibly do all day except read and maybe play a little quidditch. That wasn't really much to her so when summer ended school began. The good thing about it was she didn't have to go if she didn't want to, there was no future with her in the Muggle world. Except maybe telling the Prime Minister about magic. Soon her father quit his job and started his "own work." Then her father disappeared one day to go with his fellow pureblood believers and hopefully rid the world of muggleborns and enslave muggles. Lily adjusted to the fact that her father would never come back after about a year or two and continued with her muggle schooling. Summer of Junior year in high school she got her Beauxbatons letter and here she is today.

Lily is a sweet girl and would tell you that she doesn't have that firery redhead temper. You would be wrong to listen to her. Sure she doesn't get mad easily if she likes you, but if she doesn't like you it's like war. Lily's also really stubborn and likes to be right and will stand by her opinion no matter what anyone says or tells her to do, unless they are completely right. She's very loyal and will stand by her friends and their actions unless they are completely insane and then she will just be like "wtf? how'd you do that?" Lily's really innocent that it's funny, she would never think of doing anything bad and skips around like everyday is a happy day. She usually has a bright mood and is fairly intelligent as she pays attention in class and her mother and grandparents have taught her a few things about magic that have worked for her first year. Though she is a first year Lily knows a lot about the castle, whether it's history or just watching Arden prance around the passages.

Why you would be good for the position:

IC: Lily is a very determined girl and likes to see justice happen. She's learned that she doesn't abuse power and tries to be fair. Rarely does she take sides or become prejudiced. Also see above.

OOC: I know I haven't been here as long as some people, but I think I know the site pretty well and the rules. I also enjoy being useful and helping others out as you just get a good feeling from it. I've been on this site for only four or five months, but I don't plan on leaving. I don't even think I could leave, I'm terrible at giving up on things. Now I know I haven't been the most active person on here, but I'm figuring out my schedule and can be more active and get Lily up to a second year this term. I like to think of myself as responsible and I know I can do the prefect duties well. I love meeting new people and am I'm outgoing. Like a lot of people here I based Lily off of myself except for her being pretty shy and well sadly I'm not a redhead nor do I have their awesome temper. Well I just liked to say that this site is awesome.

Cailyn Kinley was born to loving parents. To put it simply, her family were never well off and they struggled. It didn't help that there was a large number of children in the family, roughly eleven. Cai took on the role of a mother to the other children, as her parents were always working to provide for the family. This is where she learnt good morals, from her parents that had hardly anything yet loved their children with no limits. Both of Cai's parents were muggles, so it was a surprise when an owl reached her. She later found out that they'd struggled to get the owl to her, considering how often her family were forced to move. But when she did get to Beauxbatons, she had the time of her life. The young Rourie spent half of the term at the school, before having to leave. Her mother had been pregnant, and it was beginning to get difficult. Cai needed to go home and help her mother with the other children. A few weeks later, her mother gave birth to a little girl with no heart beat. It has devestated the family, and Cai is beginning to doubt her beliefs. Along with that, she was forced to suffer another ordeal. A werewolf attacked her while she was gone, forcing himself on her. However, currently she has yet to tell anyone and is trying to act strong.

Miss Kinley is a very lovable, selfless girl that just wants the best for everyone. She grew up in a family that struggled for food, so she has learnt to appreciate the smaller things in life. This has changed her outlook on life all together. Cai is a very caring girl that often puts others before herself, no matter what the situation.

Looking at the number of other applicants, I was slightly put off. But there's no harm in trying, right? So I figured I'd start off with that. I'm always willing to try anything, and look over different ideas. I suppose that would come in handy. My activity levels aren't the highest currently, but I only have three weeks left of school before I'm on a break for two months, yay! Recently I was MIA, but I'd never leave this site without my reasons. Someone close to me was diagnosed with cancer, so it was a rough patch for me during that time. But moving on. I have a average word count of 900 + words, unless it's classes. For classes it's usually 600 + I believe that I can set a good example in posting, and help others improve their own skills further. Hm, what else? I'm a bit of a rule keeper, but not to the extent where I'm a perfectionist, you know? I believe that holding a position means that you need to make the most of it, and I'd plan to do just that. House events and spirit would always be on the top of my list.

Cailyn Kinley has been known to set a good example around Beauxbatons, and has made her own mark in the history books. She's a friendly girl that would only be more then happy to help her fellow students. Not only that, but she is sure to set a great example. Firstly, she attends three classes and is an active student in these classes. Secondly, she's big on House spirit, and is sure to get bring out the Rourie spirit in each and every student. She does not abuse her power, and she believes in equality.
