Joana Duarte or Matilde as her friends call has 19 years old(she makes 20 in September), and decided to enter Beauxbatons Academy of Magic because she wanted to make more friends, and she was tired of the fame she had in Portugal just because she was an actress in "Morangos com Açucar".

[OOC: I hope that this is okay. I am not used to doing such an application. Keep in mind that I do not actually speak all of the languages mentioned in my character sorting. But, there are trusty translators out there. Also, I could not really think of a lot to put, but I gave it my best shot!]

History
Graciela was born on the coast of Colombia in Barranquilla on February 2. Graciela is the youngest of nine children, making her the baby of the family. Her mother, Nydia, is of French-Lebanese decent as well as part Veela, and her father, William. is of Colombian-American decent. She was raised mostly by her mother and her grandmother since then men in the house were always off working. They did a lot of Muggle work since they lived in a neighborhood of Muggles. However, they did have magical jobs. Her father worked at a Ministry somewhere in Colombia in the Department of Magical Cooperation. However, the cooperation between various countries was low; therefore, her father's job was extremely hard. Her grandfather worked as a pub keeper in the next town over. He worked there for several hours of the day and got to know many people.

Being raised by the two oldest women in the family gave Graciela a slight advantage. Her siblings were all off at school while she was able to stay home with her mother and grandmother and have an enjoyable time. They taught her to do the Arabic Belly Dance so that she would not stray from her Lebanese heritage, but they also taught her several languages, English and Spanish being the main two, but they also taught her some Italian, Portugese, and Arabic along with it.

Graciela started to attend a magical school in Bogotá,Colombia at the age of eleven. There she learned the basics of magic as well as the various places and aspects of magic that there could be. She learned about the histories of other magical places besides South America. She excelled in Charms, Care of Magical Creatures, and Transfiguration.

After her siblings had either moved out or moved in with another family member in another part of the world, that left Graciela and her family with more money to do things that they wanted. So, over the summer that she had turned sixteen, they traveled to a few places, one of these places being Europe. They visited her oldest sister in Barcelona, Spain as well as the other parts of the family. Soon afterward, they had gone to France.

While in France, they discovered Beauxbatons Magic Academy and decided upon sending Graciela there. Since she is not picky, she did not really care about it. So, at the age of sixteen, going on seventeen, she went to Beauxbatons and got sorted, etc.

Personality
Graciela is a very quiet person. she does not usually talk to people that often, but when she does, she can be quite opened about various things. She will answer almost any question that is asked as long as it is appropriate, makes sense, and she can give a logical answer. Though, she is quiet and somewhat shy, she does have a very opened side to her. It is as if she changes. It also depends on the person that she talks to and converses with.

Some people find her annoying and less than they are, when really, she can actually be pretty nice. Once you get to know her, she is actually a really good person to be around as well as a really good person to be friends with. She is kind and caring and also makes sure that she is not taken advantage of, and she will often times look out for people around her. She is modest and loyal as well.

She is also intelligent and a pretty quick thinker. She has learned to use her time wisely and study rather than put play first, that is most of the time. However, there are times where she needs a break from school and a break from life overall, and she will just spend her time thinking and daydreaming about nothing in particular.

Graciela does have the tendancy to overexert her power. She like to show some people that since she is older, she is in charge. And then at other times, her mouth can go faster than her mind and get her into trouble. She is not willing to take the blame for someone unless they are really close to her (family member or a REALLY close friend). She will defend herself and tell the truth (most of the time) as long as she will not be majorly punished for it. She will admit her faults as well as her mistakes.

People sometimes find her to be very imprudent, but that is because she is doing it on purpose. She will act stupid and crazy around her friends, and sometimes, she will show off in order to fit in. However, this is rare.

She has her own outlook on life. Friends are great to have, but enemies are better. This is just her way of thinking. A friend will try to blackmail you more than an enemy would, and a friend would be more likely to tell your secrets than an enemy. You keep your friends close, but your enemies closer. It's that simple.

What does she do when life or people get her down? Nothing. She just sits there and takes what people throw at her. She ignores it, unless of course someone is talking about who she is or where she came from. However, if it is nothing major, she ignores it, bottles it up inside, then goes on somewhere and thinks about it. She cries her feelings out - a healthy way to do things like that.

Meagan Oris is a rather shy girl, who doesn't tend to like big crowds, she tends to love the night since her blood is 60% vampire and has an odd facination for the stars. She prefers nothing more during the day then to sit in a tree up high and read books. She's transfering to Beauxbatons from Odyssée, a french muggle highschool, she speaks both english and french, also she can understand a little spanish, but cannot speak it.

Matt Romstadt

To start things off, I just have to say that Matt has several personalities. But he keeps most of them hidden deep, in the back of his mind. So, generally, he's a great guy to be around;

He's kind and caring, polite to everyone that he meets, and loves to have an intellegent conversation with someone. But he has his childish moments where he doesn't want to do anything or just acts completely out of his normal character. Matt is slightly random, and sometimes does things without asking first.

In romantic situations, he's neutral, not really caring who makes the first move, but feels horrible when he has to turn someone down. Though, he tries to keep from having to do that. It's hard for him, seeing as he's a natural flirt with a charming smile, but he tries. He loves to sing, and play instruments, one of his favorites being the Alto Saxophone. But he wants to get a Soprano so bad.

Hiroshi Yuki Kaito Takahashi was born in the quaint town of Tokyo with black hair, brown eyes, and fair skin just like his parents expected. Hiroshi frequently changes his hair. From blonde to red or blue highlights, it's all different. He's not a bragger and he's modest. He was raised to be as polite as possible but had a darker side to him. He can be quite rude sometimes but he doesn't like to show that side alot, especially not infront of girls. He likes writing and drawing and he's good at both but he uses his talents to get his anger out. As for his musical talents, he plays the violin. Hiroshi loves music and cant live without it. He's a pure-blood. He has tinted glasses that he wears sometimes but wears contacts that make his eyes any color he wants, red most of the time. Hiroshi is always wanting to go somewhere else though he loves his home. So he had a choice to either attend Hogwarts or Buexbatons. In the end, he chose Hogwarts but his father sent him to Beaxbatons. Hiroshi hates that his name is related to one of the places the U.S bombed back in the old days. He still has an accent from his home but he can speak english well. He also speaks Danish and French but not as well. Hiroshi sometimes goes by one of his middle names Yuki. He prefers it. He can be found in the library reading but most times, he's there to get away.

He likes to be different but not too different. He likes talking about history. Sometimes he never shuts up and sometimes you can never get him to talk. With girls, and not boys, sorry he's strait. . He can get shy but he's pretty easy going. But he doesn't lead on to be polite but once he loosens up, alittle. That sums up Hiroshi.

Hiroshi used to use a TOY gun, it's a water gun to be exact to squirt people with. Only he knew he could never get caught with his family's reputation and his politeness so he turns himself invisible when he wants to squirt it. It's not an annoying thing, he doesnt always squirt it at acuall people.))

Alanna Zuoa is a rather loud young girl who wishes to learn how to box. While, being a loyal friend, Alanna has a short temper and is likely to defend her friends to her own expense. She enjoys reading and school but is rather fond of Transfiguration as she is Muggle-born and still finds it hard to believe that Magic is real.

She is a hard worker and if she gets something wrong she is most likely to try and continue until it's right. She is currently learning to restrain her temper but it is harder than she expects. Alanna has seven brothers and two sisters all of whom have finished school already and are continuing their studies in the Muggle as Alanna is the only Magical child. Her mother died three years ago due to excessive alcohol consuption and driving. She currently lives with her father and step mother who support her in whatever she does, though they are slightly over protective.

Alanna despises dresses and skirts as she believes that they were created by men to show off women's backsides and make sure that they were kept in line, she is a complete tomboy and yet at random points in time will show a part of herself that is usually kept under wraps, she will show that she has fashion sense and the ability to be stylish but would rather do so in her own way rather than others. Alanna is a Cancer and because of this is always willing to pick a fight and be the one to end it. Even though she is hot headed at times she can also be the most calm and make sure that others do not get into trouble.

Camryn is not originally French. He was born in America but his mother, an american, married Jean Le Frenais when Camryn was too young to remember. He loves Jean as he would his true father who left his mother - Aleasha before he was born.

Growing up in France made Camryn wvery happy - he has a good comand of the language as well as english, dutch and spanish. He is a reletively intellegent and caring boy but is likely to make brash and sometimes painful decisions in the heat of the moment. He can be very blunt and seemingly distant.

Camryn has trouble opening up to many people as he is an only child and has grown used to secracy and loneliness. He is however a determined worker and student never giving up for nothing.

Camryn has a talent for "feeling" people's emotions by touching their bare skin. So, that makes him wary of touching other's. This could be misinterpreted as calliousness or an uncaring attitude but he is genuinely afraid of seeing something inside of a person he shouldn't.

Sebastian is, surprinsingly, a nice guy, considering the family he came from. He is a pure blood with a father who is as manically obessesed with cleaniliness in the blood as any OCD-struck housewife. He's the eldest of five children, all four younger siblings being girls, and has spent his life managing to live fairly idyllicly, in a large country mansion not far from Monacco.
He showed magical talent from a young age, when his favourite trick used to be turning invisible, usually around the time he should have been taking a bath.
Sebastian was broguht up to be very prim and proper, he takes a great deal of time and care in his appearance, and finds it very easy to be charming and kind to the opposite sex, natural confidence making him very appealling to both genders. He is the stereotypical good old-fashioned pureblood pretty-boy.
But alas, he may be sweet and kind most of the time, but under all the floppy blonde hair and sparkling blue eyes, is a razor sharp wit and a sarcastic tongue to those who cross him the wrong way or do something to earn his disrepect, namely, being cruel to his family or friends, those who are closest to him.

Bindi Shen is Loyal, Caring supporive, Romantic, funny and smart. Her grandmother was a mermaid, she married Bindi's grandfather who was a fisherman. Her mother could control water and was a witch, her father was a Wizard. As a result Bindi can control water and is also telekentik. Her mother was proud the day she got her letter from Bexaubotens, where she had studied magic. Bindi can also talk to sea animals.

Sarena is a very clever girl. Her athleticism is outstanding in the fields of spectators. He love of school is an unberable trance that gets caught by all people. Being a Veela she is very pretty and very smart. Many boys want to date her but she isn't that easy. She had decided to enter Beuxbatons once her best friend decided to go. Her dancing skills were remarkable stands and she always had perfect scores. She is 14 and ready to start her life in Beubatons. She is very optomistic and enthuastic about everything and everyone. She has a knack of making people happy. Her mother is a veela also.
