First Name: (Title: Prince) Joshua
Last Name: Christen
Age: 16
Appearance:
History:
His mother, a very accomplished pure blood witch was the daughter of King James Christen and Emerita Christen who met on the first day of their college years. Of course, Emerita Christen passed down her seer-blood through to both her daughter Erika and her son, Zoltan who are now some of most unmatched seers in the world and the heirs to the throne in Switzerland until a tragic accident killed Zoltan on the day that Erika Christen married her British husband Ryan Farnworth (who took his wife's royal name), who turned into the official King of Switzerland while Erika took the throne as Queen. They had two children, the first was Joshua Christen. He was born in May, on the seventeenth. It had been such a beautiful day, too.
When Joshua turned 9, his parents had had another son. His name was Nathan. Nathan's still very young and attends school in Switzerland. Meanwhile, Joshua discovered his seer abilities long before he found his magical abilities. His father was shocked and confused, he had never heard of a seer or a prophecy - he hadn't attended Hogwarts but had instead chosen not to learn magic despite the fact that he possessed a wand. Joshua was also confused since his mother had told him about her abilities, her mother's and grand-mothers and how it was rare to have it passed down to a son or male. That was why she had been so pleased with him.
Joshua wasn't too happy with the gift since he was teased by some of the other children in the neighborhood who had overheard his mother talking about it to one of his friends' mothers and bragging about the gift to her shocked face. So, they all stayed clear of him when he threatened to hurt them with his "seer powers" which was most untrue since seers didn't posses any extra powers other than foreseeing and stuff like that. His parents had received three letters to the three best schools in Europe, but had wanted Joshua to be learning somewhere where he could also learn a new language, so they sent him to Beauxbatons which is where he is now, trying his best to enjoy his schooling.
Personality:
witty That's one word to describe Josh, who's always open with hist friends and admirers. He's truly outgoing and clear with his emotions. He isn't fond of mind games and enjoys telling people exactly what he means. He hates having to guess since it's usually such a nuisance and a pain to have to think about it constantly.
intelligent Josh enjoys reading books quite a lot sometimes and will tend to quote authors and quotes from their books - he prefers novels from the muggle world since he has been so familiar with it despite the fact that he was pure and seer blood.
modest Josh doesn't necessarily like being in the spotlight all the time for his royalty, but he enjoys it sometimes. Other times when he's made a crew team or has done something like win a small game of quidditch with friends, he'll always want the light to shine on someone other than himself because those are team sports and not just for him to get the glory in.
romantic Josh has always loved girls and he's always felt attracted to every single one for one reason or another, but hasn't really had the chance to choose one. When he falls, he falls fast and hard and his heart always smashes when the girl senses that she's not ready for it and breaks up with him. Sometimes they like him for his royalty, sometimes they don't but Josh is getting fed up with trying to figure it out.
sensitive He isn't afraid to show his feelings or admit that he's a little nauseous when it comes to dissecting a hinkypunk or something. He doesn't like to make people think he's a tough, brave guy who can do anything because that's definitely not the case.
Sample RP:
Joshua sat in the middle of a field of roses, taking in every scent, every movement and every small notion of life around him. He heard singing, a choir perhaps, filled with soul and power and knew it had to be one of the best songs he had ever heard. He got up and ran toward the direction of where the sound was coming. Then it changed direction and he changed with it. It changed again, he changed. Again. Again. Again. AGAIN. Josh sat bolt upright drenched in a cold sweat. He knew he shouldn't try to look scared of a meadow full of flowers but he couldn't help it. It represented his most recent failed relationship with a girl named Fleur. It was ridiculous how a name could drive him nuts when he might have to use it in the future when wooing a prospective girlfriend or something. He ran his fingers through his hair, sitting up in his bed and staring around at the other boys in his room. It was dark, the window outside showed the stars twinkling above, smiling down upon him, as though they were ridiculing him for his dream. As though they could read his mind.
Joshua's blood ran cold. Read his mind. That was something he hadn't thought about for a while. He wondered if there was anything else he could do rather than read someone's mind. He was good at reading people's expressions and moods already once he got to know them fairly but maybe he could sense it in them and he knew their moods and knew their thoughts...? Nah, nothing like that had ever even been discovered with a seer in Europe, probably the world. It would have been in the Daily Prophet or some big paper like that. His parents would know about it and they would have him flown down to meet that person as soon as possible so he could make a "Seer friend" since his mother wanted him to make some. How was he supposed to find them when, honestly, they looked like every other guy and girl.
He lay back on his mattress, his head falling against his pillow, closing his eyes and wiping the dry sweat off his face. His hand was hot and his face felt freezing. He tucked his elbows under his covers and closed his eyes, imagining a girl in his History of Magic class droning on and on to their teacher and sighed.
He was asleep within seconds.
