Also, I've been reading The Hunger Games for the fourth time. It's kind of my go-to book for inspiration. I read all three of the series, but the first will forever be my favourite! ♥ Now I'm looking up the rest of the House of Night series on Amazon to see if it will be cheaper to order them online than grab them from my local bookstore.

If you guys are interested in any of those books but want my opinion, lemme know. To be completely honest, I'm not 100% happy with any of the books listed as far as storytelling goes. They're just my genre of choice, the genre I happen to be writing three novels in, so I consider it helpful research to figure out what I like and don't like about them, and incorporate the strongest aspects into my own writing style.

Mhmm. I love the Percy Jackson books, I'd be buying more of them to read if I weren't also obsessed with buying House of Night and Darren Shan books xD
