As well as other Irish songs
The evening of my grandmother's funeral there was a drinking party and they were singing Irish songs, some of which sounded quite nice though I had no idea of the words XD

Um... bibliotek! = library! XDDDDDD
I only remember one or two words from my five year stint at German =_= a lot of the words aren't much different from English though, which is why I took it.
Still managed to scrape a D though, out of some miracle XD. I need to study harder.

it's in latin, i think. latin is pretty sounding.

latin sounds beautiful when sung.

i imagine german to be a hard language to learn...
it doesn't seem similar to english at all.

German isn't really that hard, compared to French and Italian etc.

Like: Ich liebe dich = I love you. 'Ich' is similar to I, 'du' is similar to 'you', 'gut' is 'good' and other such things. At the time I actually found it pretty similar to English, and still do. Compared to most other languages at least.

But yeah, still wish I could learn a more complicated language though

I liked that the vocab was similar
but the grammatical structure is a lot harder to learn

That's the worst thing when it comes to languages.
Oh well, will have to make do with English for now.
Though some English accents are pretty horrible by themselves.. *grumbles*

i have always wondered how my accent sounds to others...
of course, it's easy to distinguish an american accent
but it's state to state accents that are fun to separate.

tend to think they don't have one
but I think they all do.
It's crazy how much they vary

I love gaelic! After I learned English it was the next language I learned. I would have wished I could skip English all together but there was never Finnish to Gaelic books or lessons.
