Welcome to Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, we are currently in Twenty-Three. The first thing every member should do is read Beauxbatons Official Rules, this includes our RP Rules, Tips and Guidelines. Students should immediately get sorted by our Sorting Cloak. If you are not interested in being a student and want to get a job, then apply in our Employment thread. Also we now have a Welcome Center. In this board you will find a site directory, faqs, our rules, who to go to with questions and more.
Site Announcements All students and staff are held accountable for the information here. Read it and know it well. The schools history can be found here, as well as any announcements about the site.
Sorting & Employment - 3 Viewing All applications for Sorting and Employment should be directed within this board. This is where you come to be sorted by the sorting cloak. Please read the rules before being sorted.
The Carriage (4 sub-boards) Every student at Beauxbatons arrives in the white carriage flown by white winged horses. Come here to make yourself a character plot!
Entrance Hall (4 sub-boards) This is the first place you see when you enter Beauxbaton Academy. It is a huge opening with a big staircase opposite it. It has many doors leading to other places. One of which is the Dining Chamber.
Dining Chamber (1 sub-board) A huge chamber with three long tables for the three houses. The teachers sit at the High Table, a table on a raised platform at the front of the room. It is lit by many floating candles. This is where all the houses come together to eat. Moderators: Ivy the House-Elf, Violet the House-Elf, Izzy the House-Elf
Room of Requirement The Room of Requirement is a magical room which can only be discovered by someone who is in need. It is called the Come and Go Room by house-elves. To make the Room appear, a person has to walk past the section of blank wall three times concentrating hard on what is needed.
Forbidden Corridor (3 sub-boards) Want a little adventure? Then sneak into the Forbidden Corridor. After hours or between classes, either way its a fun way to pass the time.
Dungeons (1 sub-board) The dungeons are dark and damp and scary. It is particially under the lake on the grounds. Classrooms, the kitchens, and even hidden passageways can be found here. Moderator: Rue Ribbery
Towers (2 sub-boards) High above the Beauxbaton grounds, pointy tops of four towers round. Wind is surely to blow on through, bring a warm cloak or a hot brew. Moderator: tinley labonte
The Grounds (4 sub-boards) You can see everything from here. The Castle, the Enchanted Woods, the lake. Come here to walk around and think or to just hang out.
The Lake (1 sub-board) Take a walk down by the Lake, from your classes, you need a break. And meet some interesting creatures hid, down in the deep, like the Giant Squid. Moderator: kabriel lilly
Groundkeeper's Hut (1 sub-board) Into the hut, where the groundskeeper resides, chock full of tools, and animal hides. Visit him sometime if you get a chance, he's nice, though a bit scary at first glance. Come here to play games, you can still RP though. Moderator: charlton 'raffi' glashtyn
Bancaire (5 sub-boards) Enter a place where treasure lies, far away from prying muggle eyes, where gold, silver, and bronze galore are inside the vaults beneath the floor, though if it's not yours for the taking our doors are not fooled by your faking, step up to your vault with your key or stay within for eternity.
Rue de Paradis (7 sub-boards) Rue de Paradis, also knows as Street of Paradise, is located in Paris and can only be found by witches and wizards. Anyone who wishes to spend a lovely weekend are free to come. There are a variety of places you can go here.

Out Of Character (3 sub-boards) Discuss anything that is out of character here. Try not to post too much ooc outside this board. Talk about anything at all here, movies, music, books, love, life, family, friends. Anything at all.
