Nymue is from a very old pureblooded family that are mainly spread out across Europe. The Pendragon family are the descendents of Mordred Pendragon, the son of Arthur Pendragon and Morgause Le Fay, and Vivienne du Lac, the daughter of Merlin and Nimue du Lac. Nymue is named after her anscestor, the Lady of the Lake. It is a family tradition to reuse the name of powerful or wise ancestors, in the hope of the child living up to the name.
She has one older brother called Hadrian, who goes to Durmstrang, and a younger sister called Morgaine, who isn't in school yet.
Nymue has very blonde hair, grey eyes, and is very pale and slender. She look like a strong gust of wind would blow her away, but she is less delicate that she seems. She is very intelligent and curious, and retains most information she reads easily. She is also very well mannered, and very witty in a dry way, thought few people realise that about her. She tends to accumilate a lot of 'people' who think they are her friends, but actually has very few friends that she truly lets in. To those people she does let in, she is very loyal.
