Nyree Beaumont, fifteen and trying to find her way, is from Brisbane, Australia from a highly-known wealthy family. She's half-English and half-Australian. She loves to do anything that involves a board (surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding, etc.) and she's the athletic one out of the bunch.

A girl who doesn't take no for an answer, she works her way around anything, even if it means her life. Black hair(sometimes blond, likes to dye hair a lot), with brilliant green eyes she tends to always wear sunglasses from her favourite muggle designer, Dior, on the top of her head. Whenever she doesn't want to talk to someone, she usually always puts her shades down and walks away. Or she'll just tell them off, most likely.

Nyree's loquacious personality is that of someone who likes to have fun, but at the same time she can be a real disgusting person. Her moods change quickly, but she is no way bipolar. Her intelligence is showed through her work, sometimes in the classroom if she feels up to it and she's not the biggest talker in class.

She likes to interact with people, that she likes. She's not afraid to speak her mind and even though she can be rather annoying at times, she'll just shrug you off and throw something at you.

Other than that, she's a spoiled Australian kid who gets her way.

Gavin is rude, crude, vile, and quite evil. He doesn't care about anyone but himself. He is brutally honest, and always tells it like it is. He is manipulative and will do whatever it takes to get what he desires. He is somewhat of a pervert. He is also a liar and a jerk. He can't stay with one girl for too long because he begins to get bored with her.

He hates authority and defies it with every chance he gets. He adores rock music, and loves going to concerts. He hates love songs, the color pink, and popular people. He especially despises the scene queens because they've had everything handed to them on a silver platter.

He doesn't smile very often, because he feels that there's nothing to smile about. He is a pessimist who views the glass as completely empty. He isn't loyal to anyone but himself. He doesn't make friends very often because he's so damn mean. Sometimes, he'll pretend to like a girl just so they'll sleep with him. And then he'll throw them to the curb.

He loves to sing and scream. He can't play any instruments because he doesn't have a big enough attention span. He has many secrets and refuses to tell anyone. He hates the sun and only goes outside when it's dark. He wears a lot of black. He refuses to wear any color besides red. He has a slight obsession with fire.

Gavin also has a short temper and is easily angered. When he gets extremely angry, it isn't a pretty sight. His eyes turn red and he starts throwing things at people [including knives] and punching walls. Once, Gavin's father Michael made him so angry that Gavin stabbed Michael in the stomach.

Gavin has no idea who his mother is, nor does he care. But if she decides one day to come into her son's life, he will kill her. He has no problem with injuring people; he thinks it's quite fun. Putting people in the hospital is one of his favorite past-times.

However, there is a nice side to Gavin. If he somehow learns to trust you [which is highly doubtful], he will stand up and do anything at all for you. If someone messes with you, he will slit their throat. However, it is very difficult to get Gavin to trust you. He has a few friends but most of them are his friend either because they are terrified of him or they want his protection.

She loves a good party, if you're having one invite her, because that's when the party really starts.

Evan is the exact opposite of his twin, Matty. He has something against the world and everybody in it, no matter who you are, he firmly believes the world would be better without everyone else's existence. He would be positively tickled if anyone and everyone would leave him the phuck alone. Ever since the poor kidd had gotten home, family members had noticed an.. ah, personality change in him. At first, he started severely abusing drugs. Basically anything he could get his hands on [which happened to be several things, seeing as his mother worked at a big hospital and sometimes accidentally brought narcotics home]. Immediately, his mother noticed something and he was quickly caught... aaaand shoved into a rehabilitation center, much to his great displeasure. He was on permanent lock down in the facility he was at because he had tried to escape several times. The only reason he bothered sobering up so quickly was so he could go home. Even after he sobered up, he seemed like he never wanted to speak to anybody, come out of his room, keep in touch with any friends; basically he was anti-social all the time. He was interrogated about his newly adapted personality, but they got nowhere with it.. Until his brother sent them a letter of explanation. After a while, about almost a week to be exact, his mother got sick of it, and literally packed up his things, and sent his ass back to Beauxbatons, so she wouldn't have to deal with him. History // Melody was born in Atlanta, Georgia, to two loving parents, Veronica and Oliver. But things in the two parent's relationship suddenly went bad. Oliver was caught cheating on Veronica with a co-worker, and they immediately divorced when Rose was fifteen months old. She can't remember her father, and her mother rarely mentioned him after the break up. The two bachelorettes lived in Atlanta for most of Melody's childhood years. During this time, Veronica began dating another man named Bill, and they were nearly married. Unfortunately, Bill broke up with Veronica because he found out she was a witch. Veronica was so in love with him that this news was impossible for her to believe, and she went into a depressed point in her life when her daughter Melody was about seven or eight.

Veronica was all ready for Melody to receive her letter to the magic school, but some issues turned up. Because of her depression, Veronica had recently started smoking cigarettes. Rose was too young at the time to notice, but her mother was falling into a downwards spiral that would never end.

Melody, on the other hand, was very happy at school. She had made many friends, mostly guys, but hey? She was still extremely happy. Everything went well for her. She was good in school, she had plenty of friends, she wasn't cursed in the looks department. Things just seemed to be getting better and better for her.

At age 11, Melody was enrolled in the local magic academy and there she excelled. However, time without her young daughter made Veronica fall further down the dark hole of despair that she would never be able to get out of. Melody first noticed that her mother looked extremely bad when she came home for Christmas in her third year at the school. Her mother looked unhealthy, way too thin, and had dark circles around her eyes. Melody worried for the rest of the year, until the summertime.

When Melody came home for the summer, an awful event happened the first night that she was home. She heard a scream from her mothers bedroom, and she tumbled out of bed and ran to her mothers room to see what was wrong. She opened the door to find her mom, lying on her bed with a razor in one hand and blood stains all over the covers. Her mom had killed herself. She quickly dialed an ambulance, but it was too late, and her mother was already dead.

For the rest of the summer, Melody was extremely down and sad. The closest family members still alive were her grandparents, and they lived in London, so she was relocated there. Most of the time, she would just sit in her room, staring blankly at the walls, the horrible memory haunting her mind. Her grandparents tried to talk to her about it and it cheered her up slightly.

As well as moving, she was transferred to Beauxbatons to continue her magical education. When she first arrived, she took her grandparents advice and tried to stay as positive about her situation as possible, even though she was still sad.

Juliette was born Elizabeth Juliette Reade into a well-to-do family. Both of her parents were heir and heiress to family fortunes. Like her parents, she has quite the ego and can be very vain. Though she can be nice to those who she thinks deserve it. She has many acquaintances but not many people she'd consider "friends", mostly "followers". Although, once she makes a friend, she tends to be more of a really close sister to them than anything.

She is rather short at four feet and eleven inches, but what she lacks in height she makes up in attitude. She is thin as well, at a slight 90 pounds. Juliette is quite pale, nearly white but with pinkish tones. Her hair is long and a reddish shade of brown that falls down in soft waves. Some days she chooses to straighten it. Her eyes are very wide and a bright shade of blue. Sometimes she would remind one of a doll... a creepy little doll.

She is quite intelligent and thrives on studies, though she lacks in anything to do with maths. If it's a class she doesn't care for, she won't try, it's that simple. She has a very creative mind and doesn't like it at all when she isn't able to let it out. Her creativity, though, tends to lean on the darker side, illuminating the beauty of death and grief and the like. Sometimes, although she hates to admit it, she's all book-smarts and no common sense.

Her motto is "a short life and a merry one" she is determined to live by her own rules and no one else's, that's the only way she figure's she'll be happy. She doesn't set out to be a rebel, she just does as she pleases. But other times, that's the exact opposite. Make her mad, she'll break the rule book in half.
