Introduction Threads
You are now a proud member of Beauxbatons
Upon registering you have become one of many prestigious students to attend Beauxbaton's Academy of Magic. I know, as do a good many of members, that sometimes the wait to be sorted can seem treacherous. Even though the wait is short, it isn't uncommon for one to be eager to post. Here we are offering you just that chance. As you anxiously wait to be sorted, here you can offer a personal introduction, and let the members of Beauxbatons know a little about yourself.
This is giving you a chance to interact and get to know the lovely members of BB before you enter our magical world in character. This specifically gives the role player the chance to let others become familiar with their character, or out of character self. We would love to give you the opportunity to be on familiar terms with our members as you first join and are then sorted.
Not sure what to write about?
You're new and the current members know nothing about you. Introduce yourself. What's your name? What do you like to do? How long have you been writing? If you so prefer give us an example of your writing. Why did you join BB? You could even offer us a more detailed description of your character if you like. We are full of questions and I'm sure you have all the answers. Just offer a little bit of what makes you, you! Any number of us will be ready to jump on your introduction, to be the first to get to know you.
Most importantly, just have fun and let everyone get to know you. It's always more comfortable getting started in a role play when you know the members. So take the opportunity and make yourself known to the world of Beauxbatons.
