Dwayne had spent the last few months in London, due to his foolish mother trying to make his life miserable. If he had an evil thought in his mind to use his ability as a vampire, he would have drained her of her life. Yes, he hated his mother with a passion because she left his father and him. All the woman wanted to do was spend his father's money and cheat on him with other guys. Kicking a rock along the lake side as he walked, his hands stuffed in the pocket of his jeans. His life with his father and new step mother was awesome, they were expecting another child and honestly he couldn't wait. A new sibling would be fun. A smile played on his lips just thinking of the new baby, yet wondered what it was going to be. A boy? Oh geez not another him. Or a girl? Looks like Dwayne would have to start behaving himself better, especially if he was going to have to protect her from the idiot's that try to hurt her. He would probably go haywire if someone were to hurt his kid brother or sister.
Letting his thoughts remain on the family he had; his father, step mother and soon to be brother or sister. As he walked along the edge, he managed to kick the rock into the water like a dummy. He wanted to kick it along but his thoughts preoccupied him. Now that he was back in France, he was ready to get out there and get his schooling together, that and get back together with his friends. One of them being this girl he's known since he started here, Asahria. She was an amazing person with a wonderful personality and yes okay Dwayne liked her. A lot. His luck would had it out for him because she was dating some guy for a while, probably still was to his knowledge. Dwayne has had a crush on Ria for quite some time now, but had been so nervous to tell her. Maybe it was because of what her 'boyfriend' would have done to him if he had of found out. Regardless, at least she knew that she could count on him for any sort of support needed. He was her friend and that's what he was there for. Even if they had a few disagreements, it never stopped them from being as close as they were.
Sighing, the brown haired boy continued to walk around the large lake. Sifting through thoughts that came and went, some had no real meaning to him, others had a lot. Though he still had his mind on Ria, wondering how she was doing. He felt bad for not telling her that he left for London because of his mother, but he had explained that situation to her before, so maybe she probably figured that was the reason for his disappearance. Or at least hoped she remembered it. Dwayne cringed at the thought of her being angry with him, he never liked to see her mad or hurt for that fact. As he was rounding the lake, he tripped over another rock nearly making him land face first into the water. "Stupid rock." he grumbled as he climbed to his feet and kicked it into the water. Dwayne brushed himself off, making sure that no dirt stains were left behind. Thankfully it had been a dry day, otherwise he would have been hugged by the mud. Just the thought of being muddy gave him the chills.
It wasn't that he didn't like to play in dirt, but on his first day back to Beauxbatons, he wanted to try and stay clean. Coming to a log near close to the lake, he sat down and stared at the murky waters. He sighed again, trying to take his mind off of things.
