perhaps you've been awake the whole time. perhaps you feel sudden hunger. perhaps you suddenly just wake up from your dream. either way you right away feel drawn to go out of the palace and head towards the town. but why? Hunger. One of the worst feelings in the whole universe, especially when there’s no food anywhere nearby or if you are not allowed to eat. What to do when there’s food all around you, but you aren’t allowed to eat any of them? It wasn’t normal hunger, the type where your stomach starts growling and feels empty, but rather it’s your heart that’s craving for the dark red liquid, causing your brain to malfunction and need for passion. Sounds weird, huh? Well this happens if you’re a succubus and have been turned into a vampire as well. It wasn’t easy.
The young succubus wasn’t allowed to feed on any of the students, no matter how hungry she would feel. Therefore she had decided to leave towards the town nearby, in the middle of the night, hoping she would ran into some stranger who wouldn’t mind lending her some of their time. She never killed her victims, never. As a succubus she wasn’t really able to kill them anyway, except if she fed on them too much and they become all suicidal. Then it would be her fault. But as a vampire it was possible for her to drink too much blood. She had learned pretty well to control her urges, but it wasn’t always that easy, especially because she had never had a vampire mentor. Her master had left her after biting her and she hadn’t really met other vampires after that.
So there she was, walking towards the town in the middle of the night, under the moonlit sky while the stars where sparkling eagerly as if wanting everyone to turn to look at them instead of the big round circle in the middle of them. It was hard for Nyu Ri to choose which one was more beautiful, the moon or the stars, which why she would look up at all of them, smiling slightly as she took small steps forward on the snowy path. It was a good thing it was night and the town was nearby, because otherwise she would be in serious trouble to find anyone to feed on. Sleeping people were the best choice. They wouldn’t even know that someone has visited them and borrowed some of their blood or “passion”. …Well not exactly borrowed, because they wouldn’t be getting it back.
The town was quiet and peaceful and the only thing she could hear was her own footsteps against the soft snow. It was as if fog was coming out of her mouth as she inhaled in and out; it was just that cold out there. Not that she could really feel the coldness or anything, because she was already dead. Kind of.
Truly she had believed that she would be the only out there around this time of the night, but soon she heard some voices and hid behind the corner of an old house and stayed silent. She didn’t want to be exposed, but she wouldn’t just leave either. She needed to feed. Besides she was curious about what anyone else would do out here.
It was a small group of people, wearing dark cloaks and hoods over the top of their heads, whispering secretively about a plan they had in mind; first take over the town then head to Beauxbatons palace in which others would join them to get the academy under their control and this way respect Voldemort’s memory. Nyu Ri blinked a few times, not believing what she was hearing; were they death eaters? What in earth was going on? It was as if bad luck was following her in school too, because she had joined Beauxbatons not long ago. Ugh, why in earth now? She needed something to eat! She didn’t have time to solve problems. Eh, using the word ‘problem’ makes it sound such a small matter. Sure she knew it was a big deal that a bunch of death eaters had come to France and had decided to take over, but what in earth could she do about it all alone?

It was summer. Extremely hot one on top of that. Young Asian man was sitting under a tree, waiting for his friend to arrived; a friend that had told him to meet him there, because she had some great news. Actually he knew what this news was already, because just a few days ago she had told him that she had a fiancé whom she was supposed to marry, but didn’t want to. Cælia was a good friend of his and because both of them were ”going through” an arranged marriage he felt for her. There wasn’t much he could do, but at least he could just listen to her rant about it. But today. Today he was sure that she had after all decided to marry him. He was sure of it.
Finally she noticed her walking towards him with someone, probably with her fiancé, but he couldn’t quite see him yet, because the sun was shining brightly. But once they came over to him he immediately recognized him; how in earth was this possible? He blinked his eyes a few times as Cia introduced them to each other while smiling happily, not knowing that the two already knew each other. Eh, why would an elf marry a vampire? Cia and Calcifer… Well the names actually fitted together, but how could this be possible? “Look Hyo Joon. We need your help. Calcifer is going to die unless he gets some blood right now and… I knew you would help us out, right? We’re friends, right?” EH? Was Cia REALLY suggesting that he would sacrifice himself? “Of course we’re friends, but-“ Hyo Joon started hesitantly, unsure what to say or do as Calcifer was staring at him, his eyes glowing, ready to eat him alive. “Great! Go get him tiger. Rawr!” Cia said, gave a kiss on Calcifer cheek and after that… Darkness.
“WAAAH!” Nam Hyo Joon sat up on his bed, sweat running down his forehead and bare back while he was breathing bit heavily, pretty much scared to death. That wasn’t real. It was just a dream. That’s what he kept telling himself until he had calmed down enough and finally turned to look towards the window, just to notice that it was snowing outside. Thank God. It wasn’t summer. The Cossu male ran a hand through his hair before deciding to just get up from the bed, because there was no way he would get any sleep. Why would he see a dream like that? Him and Cia were friends. She would never do that to him. Him and Calcifer were friends as well. He would not do that to him either. “I’m going insane in this place… It must be all the French I hear every single day…” Joonii talked to himself as he walking in the bathroom, turned the tap on and splashed some water on his face a few times. In a rush though he raised his chin again to look at himself from the mirror, carefully checking his neck and finally his hands as well, not noticing any bite marks on them. Phew. Just a dream. Just a dream.
After deciding that he really needed to take a walk, perhaps get some snack from the kitchens, he dressed up and left the dorms and the Cossu common room behind him in a rush, not really caring if he happened to wake someone up. Being quiet wasn’t his thing. Cia and Calcifer… would never happen. He was sure that her fiancé was named James or Jack or something anyway. It didn’t start with the letter c. He was one hundred percent sure about that.
But… Wait a second… Why was he already walking outside and how in earth had he managed to put even his jacket on? He was supposed to go to the kitchens! Oh well, guess he really should just take a walk outside after all. It was a nice night actually. You could see the moon so clearly, some of the stars as well. Part of the sky was clouded though and it was also snowing, making it look a bit magical actually. He enjoyed it. He smiled slightly as he tried to look up at the moon, though the snow falling down on his face and especially the ones that got stuck on his eyelashes caused him to blink his eyes severely. Yeah, this was nice.
Before he even realized it he had wandered into the town in which he had not even gone yet until now. How did he even find his way in here? Well perhaps the path is pretty clear. Maybe it’s not that easy to get lost. He shouldn’t think about it too much. The town was all dark though which made him feel like just turning around and leaving the place, but something about it pulled him further in the quiet streets. After walking a few more steps he noticed something sparkling in the snow and so he crouched down to pick it up and see what it was. It was a silver ring. Not an ordinary ring though. It had a skull on it and a snake as well. It looked extremely familiar to him, though he wasn’t exactly sure where he had seen it. Slowly he raised to stand while still looking at the ring thoughtfully, his eyes narrowed. Suddenly the answer popped in his mind.
Death eaters.
Quickly he looked around himself, but didn’t see anyone there, so he looked back at the ring, wondering how in earth it had gotten there. This was Beauxbatons. Death Eaters had tried to take control of Hogwarts, right? Not Beauxbatons. He was pretty sure of it. So how had this thing ended up in here? If this was Hogwarts he would understand that it could have just been there ever since Voldemort got defeated, but… France? Maybe they had been here too years ago? But there was snow on the ground and it was obvious that it had dropped there not long ago. Hyo Joon took a few steps back, now starting to wonder if he was still just dreaming, but after pinching his own cheek he found that this really was happening. Come on, stop being ridiculous. You’re not one to get scared like this! He thought in his mind and kept taking some steps back until he decided to just turn around and walk away. That’s right, walk away. Back to Beauxbatons. Back to your dorm. Back to your bed. And that’s what he decided to do. He looked at the ring again, wondering if it had some dark powers in it. Thankfully he was wearing gloves so no finger prints were left on it (he had watched too much CSI back at home).
He didn’t end up leaving the town though. Something stopped him. He sat down on a rock though and looked down at the ring in his hand, wondering what to do about it; could he just take it to Beauxbatons? Was it safe? What was he supposed to do in this kind of situation? Maybe it was just a joke… A cruel sick joke.
Crack.
In a flash Hyo Joon stood up, took his wand from his pocket and turned around to look into the darkness. “Who’s there?”

Some might say we are made from the sharpest things you say. We are young and we don't care. Your dreams and your hopeless hair. We never wanted it to be this way. For all our lives. Jae Syun was wondering around the halls, semi-sneaking. He didn’t make all that much of an effort to not be caught, but really, he should be in his dormitories at least. But what else was he supposed to do? If he was tired for class tomorrow, that would his problem, and he really didn’t care. He can sleep when he was dead. He was bored, and he wanted to be entertained. Boy, did he really have it in for him.
He stuffed his hands deep in his pockets, a finger tapping against his wand. There was nobody wondering around, not until he saw his hyeung Joonie, He blinked at him as he walked past him, and Jae obviously wasn’t noticed. Joonie seemed preoccupied or something. Jae Syun crossed his arms and raised his eyebrows, and thought about it for a second. His curiosity was winning over his desire to say hello, so he followed quite a ways behind, resisting the urge to laugh like some sort of naughty child.
He figured Joonie was going to the kitchens, as he was hungry little pubescent like himself. But he walked past the hall that led to the kitchen, and it surprised him more to see him walk to the entrance hall and out of the palace. Alright, cool. Let’s go break more rules. Jae Syun wasn’t going to protest. He sighed heavily, still too far back for Joonie to hear him, and stretched, then rested his hands behind his head as he walked. He stared up at the stars and the moon as he walked, and he had almost lost Joonie in his momentary distraction. He paused and looked around. He was easy to find in the moonlight, and a lazy smile grew on his face.
Just out of sight, he watched as Joonie reached down to pick something up. He tilted his head to the side and tried to see what it was, but he couldn’t see it. He stretched again, and stepped out of the dark little area he was in, and started to walk up behind him. Just as he was about to nudge him, he heard the crack too. It wasn’t him. He stood behind Joonie silently and looked around; alert now, the humor gone. Then he looked at what Joonie was holding and cursed under his breath.
When Joonie started talking, Jae Syun’s eyes widened a little and he pressed his hand against his mouth, and whispered. “Quiet, Hyeung. Look.” He pointed with a nod to a group of death eaters, whom he had just barely noticed. He exhaled slowly, and pulled Joonie along in the darkness. He pulled his wand out as he did so.
“This is not good, Joonie. Not good at all…”

Almost immediately that he had stood up and spoken up someone came behind him and placed hand in front of his mouth, causing his eyes to widen for a moment, until he heard a familiar voice tell him to be quiet and he calmed down a bit. “Mmm mmh.” The Cossu tried to speak against the warm hand that was in front of his mouth, but obviously it didn’t work out the way he planned. Jae Syun pulled him into the darkness with him which made Hyo Joon wonder what exactly was going on until looked into the distance and finally noticed the death eaters and his eyes widened again and automatically he crouched down in the speed of a lightning behind a small pile of snow. “Yah! What for did you startle me like that? And what are you doing in here?” Hyo whispered sharply and accusingly, not letting it show that he was grateful for being saved from certain death. “And what… are they doing in here.” He kept his eyes on the death eaters as he pulled Jae Syun down with him. Although he found the ring he couldn’t have really believed that there would be any around here.
What could they do?
“We need a plan.” He said determinedly, knowing that it would be extremely dangerous to face them all alone and there was an extremely high risk of getting killed if they did. Both of them had not gone to Beauxbatons longer than a month and neither of them had any special abilities, really “This really, really isn’t good.” Hyo tightened his hold of his wand while trying to think what would be the best thing to do. If they decided to leave to Beauxbatons and tell to the headmaster and the professor it was possible that the death eaters would leave elsewhere already or in the worst case they would have done something to the town before help would be on its way. They couldn’t just leave them unwatched. But if they went to challenge them… well the two of them would become corpses.“…and we need help.” But how would they get that? He would not leave Jae Syun alone. Who knows what could happen to him! He might not seem like it, but to him his friends were everything and he would go to great limits to protect them. He was extremely loyal. Only in death threatening situations you would notice that Hyo Joon can actually be mature as well and isn’t as child-like and helpless as he let everyone believe.
Well this certainly wouldn’t be easy. “I found this…” He whispered, holding the ring out for Jae Syun, though suddenly he pulled it back not letting the other boy touch it after all. “Ah, but do you have any gloves? You need them. We should not leave any finger prints!” He looked at the Sournois boy with a death serious look upon his face. No way would he let his friend get accused for a murder or another crime if only his finger prints were found on the ring!

This never ending story Paid for with pride and fate We all fall short of glory Lost in our fate Penelope was wandering not-so-aimlessly through town, knowing it was odd she was here. She had fed not even two days ago, and in this very town. Her eyes were a dark grey, and her skin was flushed. She even looked well rested. A healthy, good hearted vampire. Hunting. When she didn’t need to. Penelope sighed, and inhaled through her nose, scenting. She could smell another vampire. She paused, and turned her head in Nyu Ri’s direction. It was like she could see her, but Penelope was in the other side of town. There was something about this one, but she couldn’t put her finger on it. It was like they fed on more than blood. She had heard of a vampire succubus in Beauxbatons, but she never met the person, wasn’t even sure if they were male or female. The opportunity just never came up. She wondered how a succubus would feed on school grounds.
Sighing, she made her way through, just to see. She wasn’t sure why she wanted to see, she could blame it on curiosity, but that didn’t seem to be it. There was an odd sense of needing to protect. Protect who? She frowned. A vampire wouldn’t need protection. When she found her, she also found the death eaters. She stayed in another corner of another house, and she could sense Nyu Ri on the other side, and two wizards opposite both of them. A little worry line appeared between her eyebrows as she eyed the death eaters. With the four people she noticed that weren’t death eaters (as far as she can tell), the death eaters were sort of surrounded.
But it didn’t matter. She wasn’t sure if the two normal wizards noticed the two vampires. She saw them looked at the death eaters though, that she knew they noticed. Penelope peeked her head around the corner to see Nyu Ri. Of course she would have sensed Penelope too. She raised her eyebrows at her, and whispered, “Can you hear me?” She frowned at the wizard students, now out of sight. She crouched, sitting on her heels, one hand on the ground, another on the building. She studied the death eaters, and listened to them. She could smell alcohol.
Shaking her head, her hand hovered over her wand, which was in her back pocket. She started to calculate the situation. Should she use magic? She could sense other people around, friend or foe, she wasn’t sure yet. She heard a loud crack, like someone apparated. A large, cloaked man appeared in front of her. It was good she was already crouched, the man didn’t notice her, and didn’t give away her position. She watched him stagger and laugh as he joined the dark, ruckus group standing in the open. She too, cursed under her breath as she watched. There were more death eaters arriving. Great.

Elyse didn't really know why she'd decided to walk around, but she was. With her camera in hand she took picture after picture of everything she saw. Sure, she'd probably get caught and be in A LOT of trouble, buuuuut what was life without a little rebellion? Elyse got as far as the entrance hall when she noticed that she wasn't the only one breaking the rules. To people were leaving the school, one following the other. Elyse ducked into the shadows and peeked around the corner she hiding behind. Once the doors closed entirely did Elyse come out of her hiding spot. She stared at the door, looked down at her camera and then stared at the door again. "Meh, better go follow them." she said with a shrug of her shoulders. She stuffed her camera gently back into her bag that was secured across her body and ran towards the door with silent steps.
Elyse crossed the grounds quickly, careful to stay out of sight from the other two. A couple of occasions she tripped over her own feet but remained undetected. The moon was out and illuminated everything around her with an eerie yet beautiful light. As she approached the small town, Elyse stopped to watch the two figures seemingly converse. Turning around she also saw two other figures standing not too far away from the other two. Elyse walked a little closer to the two in front of her, when they suddenly ducked out of sight and she lost them. No one else seemed to notice that she was there and she'd lost sight of them as well, anyway.
Elyse took a deep breath and pulled out her wand. Her breath blew out in puffs before her and the cold bit at her already red cheeks. Then she saw them: a group of dark, cloaked beings standing right in front of her. She knew then why those two had ducked, and probably why she couldn't see the other two, who she sensed were vampires. Death Eaters were at Beauxbatons. She willed her legs to move, but could only stand there, a frozen sitting duck. "This is just perfect!" she whispered to herself. As the wind blew harder her hair whipped around her face, causing her to lose sight of the Death Eaters. She spit the hair out of her mouth and clutched her wand tighter.
She had to move and do something. Should she cast a spell? No, she did NOT need attention drawn to her while she was so ill prepared. Her usual hyper and jokey demeanor was gone and replaced by a mix of determination and fear. With another strong gust of wind to encourage her, Elyse found her footing and dove to the ground. She crawled silently, thanking the loud wind, towards the two figures that were hidden in the darkness. She stood up but remained doubled over and approached them careful to stay hidden as well. Once she was safe to stand, she turned towards them and let out a breath when she saw who it was. "This...this is an interesting night." she said.

Some might say we are made from the sharpest things you say. We are young and we don't care. Your dreams and your hopeless hair. We never wanted it to be this way. For all our lives. Blinking, Jae Syun released him, and couldn’t decide whether to smile or raise his eyebrows. He did both, a sign of slight amusement. He shook his head and glanced back at the death eaters and frowned. “I didn’t mean to scare you, Hyung.” He thought about that, and added, “Well, not at first.” He crouched beside him and looked up at the Death Eaters, a little wide-eyed. “I was following you, of course. I thought you were sneaking off to the kitchen, and I thought, hey, I’m hungry too.” But they weren’t in the kitchen, and Jae Syun was still hungry. He’ll live. If they Death Eaters didn’t kill them. He didn’t know magic that well, though Defense Against The Dark Arts was his favorite class. There were rocks around them, but they’d probably knock out two Death Eaters at best, then they’d just be dead.
“I don’t know why they’re here,” He said, his eyebrows furrowing thoughtfully. He turned his head back to Joonie, thought, and shrugged. “They’re just bad people, aren’t they?” He turned to look at them, and caught a whiff of alcohol. “Oh, they’ve been drinking. Of course.” Suddenly, Jae Syun felt very young and helpless. He didn’t like that. Death Eaters have killed many people and ruined many families, he knew that. Some of his friends have told him stories about them. Jae was fortunate not to have to go through any of that stuff himself, though. He still felt for his friends.
He heard of a spell, he was pretty sure it was a stun spell. What was it…
Curse his memory. Then he remembered a part of it, sort of. “Stupe… Stupid…” He looked back at Hyo Joon and hurriedly explained himself. “I’m just trying to remember the stunning spell! I heard some of the older students talk about it. Stoop… Stupefy!” He had no idea how they were supposed to wave their wand for the stun spell, so they’d have to guess, if they did have to fight. He looked back at them, keeping an eye on them, making sure no one would accidentally find them. They seemed completely ignorant to the two young wizards crouched in the darkness, though, so that was good.
Secretly, Jae Syun wanted to fight, partly because he wanted to be a hero, partly because he couldn’t see anyone else around. Problem was, he was much too young to fight off a big group of large, more experienced Death Eaters who are out to kill. Such thoughts kept him from running out and attempting stunning everyone right then and there. He wasn’t that stupid. He had managed to keep his voice down, but he looked to make sure no one heard them, and he exhaled in relief. Then he looked at the ring, moved to grab it, but was stopped. He stared at Joonie for a moment, to see if he was serious, and frowned. “You’re kidding; they wouldn’t accuse US of being Death Eaters!” He glanced at the ring, and shook his head. “No, you’re right; I probably don’t want my finger prints on it. But I don’t have gloves.” He looked around on the ground as if hoping to find one, but of course there weren’t gloves there. “Let me use one of your gloves, then, Joonie, our hands are the same size.”
Then he looked back at a girl that appearently had been following him. He blinked at Joonie and mumbled "who's that?" and he frowned at her and started waving his hands in a way to tell her to get down. He sighed in relief when she finally did and started crawling their way. "Interesting," He echoed her, with his eyebrows raised. "Sure, we'll use that word."He said, half amused. He paused and thought for a moment, and said "Were you following me?"

Long spikey blood red hair, mismatched eyes which were coloured red and purple, pale porcelain face and a sly smirk were all the traits that made up the demon Nova at this very moment. Slouching in one of the alleyways in between shops he was actually quite bored for a demon who'd been locked away in a body for so long without even being able to stretch his legs. He pulled his long floor length cloak further around himself as he crossed his arms and sighed. "What now..." He could feel something in the air, something not quite good, as he remained motionless, now listening for whatever it was he had previously sensed. In all actuality he had come here, after leaving the school, waiting for something amusing to happen, whether bad or good, and it seemed like it was going to get his wish.
It was a quiet night, too quiet for his liking, but already he could hear numerous sets of feet out in the mainstreet where all the bad vibes he felt were coming from. Some human, some otherwise, by the smell of things, which made him all the more curious. "Off to work we go then, huh Roy?" Nova stated with a smirk curving his lips as he addressed his host who had now taken his place in the back of his own mind. "You'd better be careful, I don't want to end up like I did last time you decided to come in contact with... something." Nova knew all too well what the alchemist was refering too, and that amused him quite a bit. Obviously Roy still carried quite a few grudges with him, and the time when the demon got his eye stabbed out and broke his arm and landed him in the hospital ward was no exception.
"Have no fear boy, I'm quite capable of dealing with such problems myself. And for the record, I was just planning on checking out who else would be wandering outside besides those... outsiders, anyway," Nova murmered back, the smirk still on his lips as he stepped out of the alley, looking as graacefil as a cat, his abnormally coloured eyes shining in anticipation. "Now then... what do we have here?" His eyes scanned the surrounding area, narrowing slightly as he tried to see the most furthest and elusive silhouettes of the people in front of him. Ignoring the various humans and vampires who had started to swarm (there generally weren't that many, he just decided to group the small amount of students together) he focused on the other dark group that were slowly but surely walking towards them. "Interesting... but what are all these kids doing? Trying to oppose them or something." Not that he would have minded a massacre taking place - he had seen so many during the countless centuries that he had been alive - but he figured that if he did nothing Roy would find this situation another reason to have a go at him. Nova rolled his eyes and sighed. Great, playing a good guy wasn't exactly anything he was good at, but he might as well give it a try, anyhow. Swiftly watlking forwards he stopped next to what appeared to be a young vampire girl and a half blood demon-vampire. Nova's eyes quickly flicked to the side where the vampire girl had been talking to the other one. "You. Penelope, correct?" It had been ages, but he recalled that he had met the girl before ages ago, and she had been one of Roy's friends. He wasn't sure how close they'd been but that didn't exactly matter for the time being. "What's going on? Who are those people?" He directed his eyes towards the intruders and waited for some kind of responce. He didn't know what everyone planned to do, but anything was better than standing around.[/blockquote]

The look on the young succubus woman’s face could be easily described as ”are you kidding me” –look. Hell, she had a perfectly good reason for it too. First came one ASIAN kid, stupid enough not to notice the death eaters ahead. Then came another ASIAN kid who at least was smart enough to pull the other one down, but neither of them left, but just stayed there, discussing what to do. The female frowned, eye twitching, as she listened to them talking until she then heard and noticed another vampire, much older than herself, nearby. Thank God. “Yeah, I can hear you.” She replied quietly, glancing at the other woman, all of sudden feeling much smaller than she had a moment ago. She was still so young and this vampire… well it felt like she respected her a lot. There was also a familiar scent on her, but because of obvious reasons she couldn’t quite concentrate on finding out what it was. She couldn’t describe it. Her eyes laid back on the death eaters, also only now noticing that they had been drinking. Great. It could possibly be even more reckless to go front them now when they couldn’t even think clearly. First thing they could do is to kill you without second thoughts. At least if they were sober it was possible for them to give it a tiny bit more thought. …Maybe. Who knew? She wasn’t going to become a test mouse, see and find out.
A young girl joined the two males, making her feel even more uneasy. Sure it was good that there would be more of them if they really had to front the death eaters, but none of the three over there seemed like very good fighters, and it didn’t seem like they really understood in what kind of danger they really were in. This place wasn’t for kids now.
But it wasn’t just the five of them after all. Another stronger presence approached them, making Nyu Ri think that they actually had a small shot now to win the battle if it came to that. She didn’t know him, but sensed he was a demon, a powerful one. Feeling a bit more at ease once again she took her eyes off from the death eaters, moved a bit closer to the demon and the vampire, leaving small foot sprints on the snow, although she could have heard them just swell from further away too. This just seemed more practical. So she found out her name; Penelope. Indeed she should probably introduce herself sooner or later as well, but they did need to know what was going on and what was going to happen. “Sorry I’m bugging in.” The succubus started politely gazing both of them a bit hungrily at first before taking control of her desires and turning to look back at the death eaters. “Shortly; random bunch of useless students, then there's us and the death eaters.” Explaining things had never been one of her strongest traits, but it wasn’t like there was much to say anyway. Nor did she know if there was much time either. “The kids are going to get themselves killed soon.” She looked at the three students, knowing the two males too well, but no idea who the female was. Regardless, they would need to get all the three of them safe before they would try and do something stupid.

Elyse shrugged and flashed the boy a smile. "Maybe. Possibly. Yes." she said. "At first it was just simple curiosity and I figured you were doing something interesting. Foolish now I see." she said with a small frown. They were all three trapped in the dark corner and the instinct to light her wand grew. But she knew that wouldn't be the smart thing to do. Elyse look in the direction of the two vampires she'd seen a few minutes ago and took in a deep breath as another person, a demon she sensed, joined them. Her eyes flicked from the two boys standing in front of her, the Death Eaters, and the small group hidden away in the shadows.
Inching against the wall, Elyse took a bold look at the Death Eaters who were walking leisurely in the moonlight. Her wand let out a few sparks as the anticipation and fear for something to happen crept through her entire body. She wondered what they could do, the five of them collectively, if anything. She could tell without even needing to look or talk to them they thought she was child, incapable of such a dangerous task. Sure, she had the reputation of not being the most serious girl in the world, but she knew how to be her when the time came. She was seventeen for goodness sake. Ellie gritted her teeth and shifted between to forming thoughts before turning to the two still standing next to her.
Elyse bit at her lip while she addressed them. "So, what should we do? Stay here? go to the group over there?" she asked, gesturing towards the three who were now talking among themselves. No doubt thinking of a plan. She'd seen that one of them had glanced their way a few times and she knew they were talking about them. "Oh, and sorry for following you. Although by the looks of things, I'm kind of glad I did." she said and pulled out another smile. "I'm Elyse by the way." She figured she might as well introduce herself thought the moment hardly called for it.

“And you still kept following me after noticing that I didn’t go to the kitchens?” He furrowed his brows as he looked at the other Asian male until his tummy slightly growled and his head dropped down. “…I’m hungry now.” Though was there ever a time when Nam Hyo Joon wouldn’t be feeling hungry? He could eat 24/7 if he was allowed to. And if he wouldn’t get fat. Luckily he did go to the gym and dancing practices, so he was safe from that… for now. Now he had started to wonder when his last meal had been, because if he would die now, it surely would be food what he missed the most. Eh, ok. Friends and family were more important, without a doubt. But still, he did start to think that he should just eat as much as he could, because who knew when his life would be taken away.
Did they offer any food in heaven?
“Eh? How do you know that?” The Cossu whispered after hearing Jae Syun mention that the death eaters had been drinking. Hyo Joon stared at the group of men with black cloaks, squinted his eyes as if thinking it would help him see a lot better. It was probably the truth though that alcohol was involved. Perhaps therefore they had gone unnoticed so far. “Hey… aren’t they like… weaker now? If they’ve been drinking? We could kick their butts!” To him it sounded like a brilliant idea, although he really was unsure how exactly they could ‘kick their butts’ when both of them were just on their first school year in the academy and hadn’t learn all that much just yet.
“Stupe… Stupid…”
When hearing Jae Syun mumble something he turned back to look at him, blinking his eyes and about to ask if he had just called him stupid and ready to punch him, but the other boy explained himself to which Hyo Joon nodded, letting him know he understood. He had heard of the spell too, but couldn’t remember it to save his life. “Stupefy does sound familiar. Should I try it on you? To see if it works?” He already grabbed his wand and mull over how he was supposed to wave his wand or if just a simple flick would be enough.
Ah, but the ring!
After pondering for a moment the older male took off his other black glove and gave it to his dongsaeng before also offering the ring to him. Indeed they had the same hand size and the glove was fitting. Perhaps Jae Syun was right and no one would suspect that the two young males would be death eaters, but it was always good to be prepared, right? Just in case. It was only a matter of time when one of the men would notice that their ring is missing and who knew if they had some kind of spell on the ring that would help them find it more easily; it flying right back over to them or perhaps the ring would make some kind of noise. “We really could die tonight, could we not.” It wasn’t a question, it was a statement. For once he looked the men with a serious look on his face, being far from his usual goofy and idiotic self. That itself meant that they had a major problem at hand right now. Most of the time Hyo Joon acted like an idiot on purpose, even when things got serious, because he wanted to lift the spirits and hoped that no one would be giving up, but for a second there he thought that they really had a zero chance to survive from the night.
His appearance changed once again back to his old self when a figure approached them, making him cautious at first, until the person stepped closer to them out from the darkness and he noticed it was a young woman with long dark hair passing her shoulders. Oh, he had seen her. She was a first year Cossu as well, an elf if he remembered correctly. Hyo Joon said nothing at first, but listened as Jae Syun asked whether she had been following him to which the girl admitted being guilty to, causing the Cossu boy frown. “Great. I’m being stalked by a man and the man got stalked by a woman. Unfair!” He pouted, crossed his arms above his chest and looked to another direction. Why did Jae Syun always get the girls? What was wrong with him? Hyo Joon was better in singing than Jae syun. Jae Syun was better in dancing. But Hyo Joon was cuter! …But Jae Syun was sexier… Damn this really started to disturb him. One day he shall be the one getting all the girls! That’s for sure. Yup, his old self was back.
"So, what should we do? Stay here? go to the group over there?"
Good questions. “We can’t leave, that’s for sure. Maybe… wait… what group?” Thus far Hyo Joon had been utterly clueless about the other three people; a vampire, a vampire-demon and a demon. At first he felt slightly relieved, believing that they could actually make out of this alive, but one fact couldn’t still be forgotten; they were all just students. The death eaters were adults and no doubt very skilled in magic. And out of the six of them it would most definitely be him who lost his life first. He was certain of that. In his mind he cursed his parents for not introducing the world of magic properly to him ever since he was a toddler, but kept postponing it until he actually needed to study it. “I guess… we should go over to the group. Maybe they got some ideas.” Hyo Joon looked thoughtful at the group, not really recognizing any of them. Eh, except the Asian woman with whom he often clashed. Their opinions varied too much. But with the vampire and the demon he wasn’t familiar with. “I’m Hyo Joon. Call me Hyo. It's nice to meet you despite the circumstances.” He gave a faint smile to the girl, now wishing that he would have noticed Jae Syun and Elyse following him; perhaps then all of them would be in the kitchens instead, drinking cups of hot chocolate or butterbeer.

Some might say we are made from the sharpest things you say. We are young and we don't care. Your dreams and your hopeless hair. We never wanted it to be this way. For all our lives. He nodded, unimpressed with Hyo’s observation of Jae Syun’s stupid choices. “How was I supposed to know you’d lead us straight into Death Eaters?” He said defensively, and he looked down at his tummy when it growled. “You’re always hungry,” he added, stating the obvious. Truthfully, Jae was hungry too, and always was. He was an adolescent boy, what else was there to be? But now wasn’t the time to think of food. Some ramen would good right about now, though... He let himself fall forward onto his knees so that he was kneeling and began to search his pockets. “I have food in my pocket... It would make noise if I took it out, though.” He frowned, and turned so his back wasn’t to the death eaters - Jae, being cautious, who would have thought.
“Weaker?” He said, raised his eyebrows. “Sure, but they’d be stupid and reckless.” He said, grabbing his wand again, but unsure what to do with it. “This, for us, is more dangerous. Drunken people don’t think, they do.” Then he blinked, because Hyo had already suggested trying and stunning him to see if it would work, He ignored the offered glove for a moment and stared at him. “Really! Go ahead then, give it a shot, you can fight the death eaters by yourself.” He said sarcastically, rolling his eyes and grabbing the glove. It fit him as he said, and he held out his hand for the ring. When he got it, he saw that it was green, had a skull, and really cliché for a bunch of bad guys.
He shoved it in his pocket as Hyo said his rather morbid sentence and nodded solemnly. They sat in silence for a moment with that frightening thought, and Jae thought of all his friends and family back home. He even thought of Joonie, who was just right beside him, but Joonie was his best friend. Regardless of all their bickering going on right now and all the times before, it was just playful banter; they were closer than brothers. He’d jump in front of a bullet for Joonie, or in this case, a deadly spell. He didn’t have the faintest idea what that was. Dark magic was beyond him. He thought of his mum and his father, and was pleased to know if they died here and now, the last thing he had said to them was that he loved them.
Jae Syun was just going to say something clever back to the girl, but Joonie started complaining. Jae smiled smugly despite everything. “Don’t worry, Joonie.” He said, patting his arm. “My mum still loves you more than she loves me.” He chuckled under his breath, and turned back to the girl, completely unaware than she was anything more than a human. “Yeah, truthfully, it would have been nice to meet you elsewhere. I’m Jae Syun, and it is nice to meet you in spite of the circumstance, though...” He rolled his wand between his fingers, looking the death eaters direction when she suggested joining the other group. “Group?” he said at the same time as Hyo. He looked at him with a puzzled expression and looked in the direction of the said group, unable to see them in the dark.
“There’s a group over there? Awe...” He wanted to say something like, ‘maybe we should go over there and help protect them’, but it was such a male thing to say, and he had a feeling it would be one of the dumbest things he’s ever said. That little instinct also led him to suggest they stay here. “I don’t see how we could sneak over there successfully” he said as a couple death eaters wondered off into the forest. “Where are those two going...” he mumbled, his face filled with concern. With genuine concern in her eyes, Penelope sighed. She decided to pull off her loose sweater and left it by her feet, still crouched, still alert. The sweater wouldn't slow her down too much, but this wasn't a game, it wasn't a hunt. There were students with nothing but their wands to defend themselves, and she was positive they were first year students. She usually tried to think the best of people, but she thought the worst of death eaters, who were just dark and tactless. She considered her options. Should she rid the world of them? Or perhaps, just render them unconscious. They more than deserved the first option. She could hear the entire conversation the wizards and witch were having, and shook her head. They were being brave. Brave when they should be running. Making a face, she turned in Nyu Ri's direction, trying to read her face, wondering if perhaps she has formulated a plan.
A plan. That would be a good idea.
"Okay," she said in response to Nyu Ri. "I-" Just as she was going to give her name to the other vampire, Roy spoke. Well, not Roy. She had an odd feeling that it was Roy, but when she turned... Well, she didn't find what she expected. She stared at Nova for perhaps longer than was necessary, what with the red hair and inimitable eyes, but really wasn't all too long a gaze from a mortal's point of view. She exhaled, which she was absolutely sure he caught, and murmured, "Nova." She nodded once, "Yes, I'm Penelope. I remember you."
She straightened herself, standing and looking at the other vampire. She raised her eyebrows ever slightly, just barely catching a hint of hunger in Nyu Ri. The girl was stunning, indeed, which didn't surprise Penelope at all. There was something different about her, as she had sensed previously. Demonic differences? She couldn't be sure, not now. She frowned a little when she said 'useless', though she could hardly think that it was far from the truth. The witch over there with the boys was different, Penelope could see that. She glanced at them, glad to see that they were at least crouching in the darkness. For now. These death eaters wouldn't be able to see them, none of them were anything other than normal wizards. Despicable wizards.
She nodded in agreement, certain if they didn't do something, those other students won't be making it back to their beds back at the palace. "Yes, foolish, drunk death eaters. I think we'd be able to lure them away from the other students." She paused, thinking for the space of a heartbeat, and suggested, "Even if I just go over there with my wand lit, I have no doubt that they'd follow it..." She trailed off, sure the rest of the plan would be obvious. She turned her eyes back to the group of men. "I could look defenseless and everything. Wouldn't want to scare them off just to have them wreak havoc elsewhere" she mused. She began to wonder how a death eater would fair at apparating while under the influence.
Of course, if these two wanted to do something else entirely, all they had to do is say 'jump', and she'd say 'how high'.

"You know, this situation couldn't have gotten much stranger if we were fighting another Homunculus, Mustang," Nova thought at Roy as red and purple eyes scanned the surrounding scene before them. There were Death Eaters just metres in front of them and approaching by the minute, albeit stumbling and laughing more, but being drunk only succeeded in making such people more deadly and unpredictable. On the other hand, they were simply wizards, humans with magical abilities - more often than not unable to use such powers without their wands either. They could have easily been slaughtered and the demon wouldn't even need to lift a finger. The cat-like slits in Nova's eyes narrowed, a smirk appearing as his tongue flicked at the one sharp canine fang that was protuding from the side of his mouth. The more he thought about such things the more his lust for war and fighting grew, he could barely even contain it. On the other hand.... Children everywhere. No matter where he looked he could see students as far as the eye could see. Was he concerned about this? Not especially. He could feel Roy's bubbling emotions though, and that bugged him on some level. Really now, out of all these people Roy only knew one of them, so how could he care about the others? And the one sole person he knew, she was a vampire, she could protect herself, couldn't she? The others... well, they quite simply weren't his problem. He wasn't a babysitter. Nova was here because he sensed fun, and maybe an impending bloodbath, that was all. All the demon could do at the moment was roll his eyes and draw in a small breath as he took a step forwards, inching towards the rampaging Death Eaters who would soon arrive before them, and who would probably show no mercy either, humans or not. Nova turned his head to half glance at the chattering students again, almost as if he just remembered that they weren't remaining silent and are actually talking. Talking. That's it. They were talking about what they should be doing instead of actually doing something, as time slowly ran out for them. "I suggest-" Nova started, in a low voice, his eyes gleaming at them. "-that we all stop debating the subject and actually attack. All of us, including those weaklings over there, who should actually JOIN us instead of standing around like a bunch of useless extras in a movie." He finished loudly as he gave the three students that were standing by themselves a menacing glare. Nova then turned his attention back to Penelope and Nyu. "Some of us may not make it out alive, but that's all part of the fun. No point in anything without taking a few risks, and since no one here has run off within the past few minutes, I'm thinking your chips are all in with this game, right?" He smirked agan as he looked at the Death Eaters again. "So let's do something about this!" He pointed at the Death Eaters, his arm set aflame with what appeared to be black energy crackling around it. In a few minutes he had managed to create a fireball in the palm of his hand, once again surrounded by the same energy, and then flung it into the centre of the oncoming group. "Now this is what I'm talking about," the demon stated smugly, nodding his approval as he looked expectantly at the people behind him. Obviously the Deah Eaters, in their drunken stupor, were far from happy, and they were bound to feel a lot worse soon, that was almost guaranteed. (Yay for me taking almost a year to reply!! =D xDDD)[/blockquote]

The young succubus noticed the small group of three glancing their way, but she decided not to pay attention, most of all because a certain someone was there as well. They would have to somehow fool the death eaters, so that the… less capable ones, nicely put, could run away to safety. Ugh. How could she have not realized that it was Jae Syun and Hyo Joon over there? Well that made things more complicated. She felt protective over them. She heard them discussing about coming over to them which would be a good idea if it was possible. She wasn’t sure how they would get over there unnoticed though. Although the death eaters were drunk it didn’t mean they wouldn’t notice the smallest movement.
Then she had an idea what they could do. She wondered if she could go over there while everyone else would hide and she would use her succubus powers to lure the death eaters over to her and be kind to her… and then the others could attack. The problem was that she was far from perfect using her succubus skills. She was indeed hungry, so that would probably help her out a lot and make her feel stronger attachment to her seducer abilities, but you could never be too sure. What if something went wrong? Well possibly still the other could take down the death eaters if she was able to distract them enough. Besides she was also a vampire; it wasn’t that easy to kill her. She would be fine. It seemed that also Penelope had the same type of idea. Nyu Ri listened to the young woman explain her plan to which she nodded and thought that it might actually be a better idea seeing that she was much older than she was. And thus much more powerful. She definitely didn’t look old though; one of the perks of being a vampire. She seemed to have died rather young as well, but in a way it had been a good age, because she did look stunningly beautiful. For a moment she found herself staring at her perfectly plump lips before quickly turning to look back at the death eaters, narrowing her eyes slightly as she felt her hunger trying to take over her again. God damnit.
It was then that the young man spoke which finally made her realize that she really had seen him before, but… not like this. He was somehow different. Quietly she listened to his proposal, glancing at his direction, but not looking directly into his eyes, because she was really worried she would do something she would regret. She would do something that she couldn’t control. …Bunch of useless extras in a movie? That line she liked. A small smirk grew upon her lips and she turned to look towards the other group again, stopping to stare at Jae Syun this time. Suddenly she felt calm again. Relaxed. Nyu Ri took a deep breath and let it out and now was able to concentrate perfectly well again. What…? She turned back to the death eaters once again and decided it was probably for the best to keep her gaze over them. How come she felt less hungry now? Or rather she felt like she was now able to control it better.
“Some of us may not make it out alive, but that's all part of the fun.”
Oh hell, to this comment she raised an eyebrow, but was able to resist looking his way. She would beg to differ, because she wanted all of them to get out of this alive. Eh, at least most of them. Sure she didn’t know all of them, but she still didn’t wish anyone dead. Except the death eaters. Weren’t they on their territory right now? They had to chase them away. And if they would refuse to leave they would soon find themselves without a pulse. That was her plan.
Suddenly she saw something bright and hot pass her by which made her realize that not only was the senior vampire a great ally, but so was this demon, extremely much so. She believed they could all make it to safety when all this was ended. “Over here boys and girls!” Nyu Ri whistled over to the death eaters, hoping that she would gain their attention this way and they wouldn’t notice the other group nearby them. In a blink of an idea she had ran behind another tree, collecting herself before taking a peek at the death eaters and waving her wand in order cause at least some kind of sparkling that would pinch them and flash before their eyes to make them blind for a moment. Oh well, that wasn’t much. Not when there was a strong vampire and fire shooting demon, but it was something anyway. She would try her best although she wasn’t good with spells. She would make sure Jae Syun would be safe. …And everyone else of course.
