For once, Penelope was actually glad Yuki wasn't here, and she wouldn't doubt that Roy felt the same way. As for Nova, she didn't know him enough to guess. But she wasn't thinking the worst of him, especially not when he was, for the most part, on their side. Penelope was already feeling on edge what with these random students she didn't really know. If Yuki was there, she'd be making some mistakes trying to protect him rather than everyone as a unit. Close relationships are dangerous in that sense, though she'd never call it inconvenient. They'd probably have argued over a few points as well, who should do what, who's more important, who should do the sacrifice in the end - if a sacrifice was needed. She wouldn't put it beneath Yuki to do something like that for everyone else.
Looking back over to the other students, she made the assumption that they were new. Did they know any defensive spells, let alone offensive ones? They had wands. That was one thing. But what good was a wand if one didn't know how to use it. With a sigh, she decided she'd work some spells she knew into her offense, which would most likely be physical. A swift punch to the head to any one of these elder wizards would knock them out cold for hours. With the three supernatural beings, they should be just fine, right? What was some dozens of drunken witches and wizards compared to them, these experienced hunters?
She brought her attention to Nova as he started talking loudly. Luckily, the death eaters were too drunk to notice which direction his voice was coming from before the great ball of fire was flung at them. Typical. After Nyu Ri had done more to grab their attention, Penelope swore, and loudly. She was obviously frustrated with the whole situation. Dashing over to the back of the group when most of them turned to Nyu Ri, she started attacking from behind, her fist flying into a man's face.
"I wish I could throw fire balls." She said loudly as she dodged a flash of green light. "Without a wand." She added, as another spell came her way. She echoed it.
"SECTUMSEMPRA!"
The results were horrendous. The man she heard muttering this spell first got sliced right down the chest. The woman beside him turned her back on Penelope to panic about it. Stupid. Naturally Penelope used that to her advantage and stunned her. She had actually shouted these spells not because she was agitated enough to shout around, but because she hoped one of the students would catch on, and maybe some other people who weren't aware of the chaos might come to their rescue. She doubted that, but it didn't hurt. These were not fellow students they were dueling with; these were actual bad guys that would kill in a heartbeat. But for those who might not be comfortable with that particular spell could always stun them.
It didn't take long for Penelope to get 'injured'. This gaping wound in her left arm could hardly be called an injury, though. It'll heal fast enough, but Penelope realized dully that she will be hungry in the end. If there were no casualties at the end of this, she could always feed on the stunned. That put a smirk on her face.

His friend had a valid point when he mentioned how he was supposed to know that Hyo Joon would tkae them to the death eaters, but so did he; “Well! I didn’t know either.” Hyo Joon started, pouting, before soon adding, “I wish I had known. Would have either not come at all or maybe then I’d have some kind of strategy to defeat them.” The Asian let out a small, quiet sigh, as he as well knelt down next to his friend. Even if there was another group over there what could they do? They were pretty much defenseless. Unless someone from the other group was more experienced than they were. Jae Syun was right that now that the death eaters were drunk they would be much more reckless, definitely. Thus why maybe even more dangerous than they would be sober. His lips curled upside down as he stared at the death eaters, wondering how long it would take for them to realize they were there. How could they survive from this?
“YOU-“ He said almost too loudly, his right hand's forefinger pointing at his friend, before lowering his voice, checking whether the death eaters noticed or not and then turned back to Jae Syun, “You got food there?! What kind of food?” It was the truth that he was always hungry. He could eat anytime & anywhere whether he had just eaten his stomach full or not. He would still always have room for some more. Of course he tried to avoid eating too much, knowing that one day he would turn into a sumo wrestler if he did. That really wasn’t the occupation he had dreamed of…
Hyo Joon’s thoughts wandered off to his grandmother. If he died it would probably be the hardest for her. Of course her parents would possibly be devastated too, but especially his father’s mother; she would die herself. In a way it might sound selfish for him to have such thoughts, but he knew it was true. His grandmother cared deeply for him, just like he did for her. Whenever his parents had decided to break up again and take divorce she was there always for him. Just like during the times his parents got back together again. Yes, he needed support even then, because he was scared they would just get into an argument again and get divorced yet again. Happiness wouldn’t last. That’s what he had thought. Until his grandmother gave him support and took care of him. Explaining things. Oh, what he would do to be at his grandmother’s house, drinking a hot cup of chocolate and eat the bread she had freshly baked for him.
“That’s because your mother knows who’s a good guy and who’s not.” He smirked back at his friend, though knowing that his own mother did favor Jae Syun over him. Why was that? People always wanted something they didn’t have. Grass was greener on the other side of the fence? Hyo Joon didn’t believe in that, but apparently their parents did.
Ah, but the other group.
He glanced again to the direction of the other group, not knowing how capable they actually were to fight against these death eaters, but he did wish they would have a better plan than he and Jae Syun and the girl did. It did seem like they were discussing about something, but obviously he couldn’t hear them; he could barely even see them. He scratched his forehead, wondering what to do because they really were running out of time fast, especially now that two of them had left wandering away in the woods, but then… he saw some kind of light lit in the other group. He narrowed his eyes, trying to see better what it was until it flew to hit the death eaters, only then noticing it had been a fireball. A fireball! And he could have sworn the guy had done it without his wand! “WOW! HOW COOL WAS THAT? DID YOU SEE THAT?!” He spoke, standing up and staring at the direction of the death eaters whom luckily didn’t spot him just because right then Nyu Ri had distracted them. Everything happened so fast after that, he really couldn’t quite see what was happening when the other girl had moved over to the death eaters already, casting different kind of spells and… wow, these three were totally on top of them now. His eyes were wide as plates as he just stood there, stunned unable to do a thing. “Umm… should… should we like… go help…?” He was able to mumble out to the other two next to him while thinking about how those three definitely weren’t new at this kind of thing. They were pros! He would definitely need to ask one of them to teach him some techniques and such after this all would be over. …If everything went well. / asdasdasd Dx

So much happened in one moment she found it hard to focus for a second. One second that had been talking and the next a death eather was taken out. Holding her wand tightly in her hand she immediately set up her defenses, ear twisting slightly in order to gain a better sense of her surrounding. Gritting her teeth she followed those that had gone forward, her body silent and slithering. She could have charge full on into battle but since people were already doing that she saw no point...yet.
Her peppy demeanor had left for the being as all she could think about was one word, attack. Seconds after the sizzling sound left her ears and the fireball flew off into the dark. She didn't keep her eyes on it long enough to see if had hit anything, or anyone. Raising her wand she shouted, "Stupefy!", aiming for a death eater mere meters away from her. It hit one of them in the back and caused them to topple over. Grinning to herself she realized that she's moved quite far away from her group, but everyone still seemed to be in her eyesight. It registered in her brain that she should be careful with some of the spells she used. Even though she spent time practicing them with her parents, she wasn't sure about a few of them and she hadn't fully tested them so who knew what would happen.
Running back over to the group she moved back and forth, zigzagging around, not wanting to stand around in the same spot for to long; something she learned to never do in a duel as you essentially became a sitting duck and the easiest of targets. She noticed a few more death eaters join the fray and she gritted her teeth again.
"Expelliarmus!" she half- shouted, half-spoke. She hit something, but was unable to see due to the deepening darkness. They were losing some light as clouds shaded the sky, blocking the stars and a bit of the moon. Her eyes adjusted though, something she was thankful for. Thank goodness for being an elf, right? Biting her lip in anticipation she watched the others around her. Wondering what their next moves would be. Things had certainly not calmed down as the 'dangerous' ones caught on to the fact that this had become a full on war of sorts.

Ah, this was the life, standing around incinerating humans that is. Nova still felt smug as he just stood back, folded his arms, watching the Death Eaters fall out of their ranks as the fireball hit them, and were then suddenly under a barrage of spells coming from the several teenagers, or apparent teenagers facing them. After a minute or so of lights being thrown on all directions, Nova narrowly tilted his head to the side as he dodged a well aimed flash of red light. "Well then, that's no fun-" he started, but stopped when he was interrupted by the loud sound of a voice, yelling about food. "The Hell..." he turned to look at the kids, who were looking pretty carefree for part of the group of students that were being attacked by evil wizards. Then he rolled his eyes. Was he actually in hell now? He could almost remember it, dark, emptiness, flames of all sizes and colours, screams of pain and torture.... he pretty much felt all of those now as he dryly looked at this accursed kids. Nova quickly turned to look at the Death Eaters, and then turned to look back at Hyo and Jae Syun, a vile smirk appearing as a great deal of thoughts started rushing through his head. Fun time. Almost as if he disappeared with a flick of his cloak, he disappeared and reappeared near the talking children. "Now then," he started, his purple and red eyes leering down at them. "Is this really a place for people to play? Especially when there's a chance those dear little godsends over there might end up dying in battle?" He casually waved a hand at the other students, his hand once again filling with fire as he drew it level with the younger student's faces. "Now then, let's play a game..." he hissed. "Wait a moment." Both of Nova's eyes turned bright blue, the cruel expression disappeared as they did so. "What are you lot doing here?" Roy asked, sounding out of breath as he spoke to them. Obviously the demon within him was still fighting and it was taking a lot of strength for the alchemist to hold him back, but what else could he do? The Death Eater's were bad enough, but Nova going rogue? That's something else to worry about, and it would have been mostly Roy's problem than anything else. It was strange though, Nova didn't usually do stuff like that, or he hadn't done so in a while, so what happened? He'd have to discuss this later... but for now, reality seemed faintly more important, if only just. Roy looked back at the fight and was startled to see that the Death Eater's were being slightly overpowered, obviously being too drunk didn't win people many fights these days. Maybe he should go over there and help... he didn't have his wand with him though. No, Nova just happened to rush out of the palace not thinking of such essential things, preferring to use demonic powers over wizarding ones. "Um, so... yeah... you two should probably get out of here, who knows what those guys are capable of doing to... people who are as young and... stuff as you. Well... bye!" With that, Roy dashed off, barely taking notice of what he was implying at all. Now it was time to give those Death Eater's what for! Somehow, at least without Nova's help, he knew that much. Couldn't let him go out of control again. Finally stopping at the other group he looked around at everyone. "Everyone holding out alright? No casualties or anything?"(Sorry, I seem to leave half a year between posts ^^; and this one seems a bit crazy, so ignore if you must xDD)[/blockquote]
