[atrb=border, 0, true][atrb=style, line-height:80%;][atrb=style, width:279px; padding:10px; background:#ffffff;] THE SECURITY OF YOUR LOVING ARMS KEEPING ME FROM HARM Josh missed Tzarina so much but he knew that what was done was done and she was gone. He missed his chance. For a few weeks he had thought of looking - packing and unpacking his bag - but that was months ago. Months ago, he was depressed and upset, nearly drinking every night from his own bar. His family hadn't seen him or heard from him for days, and he wasn't interested in seeing any of them again. He ran a hand through his hair as he sat at his bar. He had a small glass of scotch and was shaking the ice around in the glass as he sighed. Today was just another day, and he hadn't thought of Tzarina in weeks, and he was grateful for it. He knew he was ready to move on and hoped he would find someone he could connect with at some point. He checked his watch and saw that the time was only 2 PM. He was open that night and since it was a Saturday, it was going to be busy. Couru en Liberté was one of the more popular lounges in the area for wizards and witches, and it provided them with a safe place to perform magic for attracting others who knew of magic. Of course, not everyone preferred wizards to muggles, but of course that was their business, not Joshua's. He ran a hand through his hair again, messying it up a bit and decided he needed some fresh air. Maybe get some holiday presents for friends and family. He grabbed his coat from the table beside him and flung it over his shoulders, wrapping himself in a scarf as he did so. He glanced over at one of his employee's, Yvan, and gave him a wave, "I'll be back later." Before opening and locking the door behind him. When he stepped out onto the cobblestoned streets, he felt a gust of cold wind in his face. He inhaled sharply before setting off down the street towards the end of wizarding territory and the beginning of the muggle world. He checked both ways and crossed the street. He checked his watch again, only ten minutes had passed. He really needed to think of things to do. As he took off down the street, he opened his wallet and checked how much money he had left on him. He had a muggle credit card and a few Euros mixed with some notes. Coughing, he decided he had enough to get a few nice things for his aging mother and anyone else he could think of - maybe a lady who peaked his interest. He spotted Lafayette on the streetcorner and made a beeline for them. He knew how much his mother loved their scarves and anything else they had and always wished she had enough money for them. Thankfully for him, being the owner of a lounge really helped with the money situation. He looked around and undid his scarf when he walked in. He spotted some pretty young shopgirls who were eager to help and he waved them off, knowing he could figure out what his mother wanted for himself and didn't need some clueless associate trying to get him to purchase a bundle. It was the holiday season, it wasn't as though there weren't frantic minds who needed helping. He wandered over towards a beautiful display of pink and purple scarves and picked up a few. They felt soft between his fingers and he checked the price tag. It took most of him to prevent a soft whistle of surprise from slipping out from between his lips, but he sustained it. They were beautiful, but pricy. He was rich now, but he didn't really want to spend that much on a scarf. But for beautiful women that he loved? There was no question about it, he would do it. He ran his hands over a few more scarves before settling on a beautiful one from Burberry that was only a small fortune. Hopefully she'd love it. As he walked towards the cash register, he made a few detours from some other departments to see if he could find anything anyone else would want. He spotted a beautiful brunette who seemed to be looking at some items and smiled, she looked beautiful to him but he wasn't sure he had enough confidence to approach her. He walked by her towards the cash register which was beside the display she was looking at and proceeded to make the payment for the scarf. The cashier asked if he wanted it gift wrapped and he agreed reluctantly. Knowing the department stores, it was going to take a while. He sighed and walked around the area, eying the woman with interest before he just grit his teeth. "Everything's really nice around here, isn't it? Ridiculously expensive though," he laughed. He glanced around and extended his hand, "My name's Josh." Seemed a little forward, but he felt like taking risks. Hopefully she wouldn't find his attempt at getting to know her too blunt or obvious in his interest in her. Maybe she'd think he was gay. Who knows. TAG ruxandra g. OUTFIT HERE NOTES i hope you'll be interested in getting the two together again! xx |

keep calm, keep moving... What could me more cheerful than spending your free time walking? Ruxandra though that no spare time should be wasted…at all. She had been busy lately with the school that her spare time was very limited. The brunette was sitting on an antique chair brought from Turkey and she was questioning herself whether she should go do some errands or take a nap for a few hours. The second option was definitely out of the scheme. She was not fond of naps during the day, even though she was part vampire. Ruxandra was so desperate to fit in with others, pretend that she was full human, that she was decided to do everything, even the impossible to deny her vampiric side. She hated her father for that. He was the one to blame that she was part vampire. Her father, Lucian, was half vampire and her mother was a pure-blooded witch.
The woman moved slowly from her desk towards the window. A marvelous image lied in front of her. “I wish I could walk more”. That was her deepest desire… to walk more. Ruxandra was missing one important thing. She was alone. One thing she had on her hate list was loneliness. That was killing her slowly. The woman bit her lower lip and moved towards the window. Her reflection was beautiful, no one could deny that. Memories started to fill her mind. What if… tormented her. In the past, Ruxandra loved a man from the deepest corner of her heart. She loved him so badly that after his disappearance she made a pact with herself: not to love anyone else ever again. It was a selfish act of protection that she forced herself to do. Ruxandra was sentimental, and it was extremely hard for her to hide that. She tried to be sharp, she wanted to be seen as a sharp woman that has a set of strict rules, a person that wants everyone else to stick to her rules.
“What am I doing?” Ruxandra bluntly opened her eyes. She felt a sharp pain under her left ribs. Her blue eyes scanned the room slowly. There was no job that remained unfinished and required her immediate presence there. Ruxandra grabbed her purse from her dark wooden desk and left her office. The first stop was going to be her room. The deputy headmistress needed to change, take a shower and after pampering herself, Rue de Paradis was going to be her grand destination. The last time Ruxandra checked her wardrobe, there were huge gaps. She needed to buy new clothes. The clock stroke two o’clock in the afternoon. Another ten minutes passed and Ruxandra was all dressed and pampered to go have some fun shopping. The sun rays penetrated the room though some thin glass, embracing the room with their warmth. Nothing else was more pleasant than sitting on the edge of the bed and letting the sun rays caress the skin. Ruxandra loved that particular sensation. That remembered her a pleasant period from her childhood, when she could bare that sensation. With the pass of time, her vampire side was becoming more prominent and she was deprived of a lot of things she loved.
A carriage waited the deputy headmistress in front of the Palace. The clock stoke thirty minutes past two o’clock. The notion of time meant very much to her. Ruxandra picked up her mug of cold tea from nightstand and drank the last three sips. No time was to be wasted. Ruxandra made sure she had everything she needed with her: a bottle of water, a lipstick and some powder and galleons. “Goodbye my dearest. I won’t be too late, no need to worry my love” Ruxandra almost whispered to her only true love, her phoenix Vinierre who silently sipping some water. The woman rushed towards the exit of the Palace and started to cross the grounds. There was a long way and she was rushing. Punctuality was a great quality she possessed. Once she reached her carriage, a huge amount of blood was flushing across her face. Her cheeks looked like someone set them on fire. Maybe she should have taken a broom, but exercise was also always welcome. “Let’s go” Ruxandra demanded. Excitement flooded all her body once the carriage moved towards Rue de Paradis.
It felt really weird for her to travel alone. Lately, the tall woman with brunette locks, travelled for business either with Madame Maxime, or Jillian. Ruxandra moved back in her seat once she felt a tickle on her skin. The sun rays touched her skin and that tickled her. If she was a full vampire that would normally kill her. But there were potions that could prevent that. Ruxandra refused to brew and drink such a potion, purely because she insisted to believe that she didn’t need any of it. She moved her fingers through her short locks and looked outside. They were almost there. Ruxandra lodged her hand inside her purse. She was looking for a scarf to loosely cover her head. Only that her scarf was missing… “Oh my… where is it?”. She didn’t want to keep the carriage for herself any longer, and she stepped out. Her scarf was still missing and she had the impression that she took it from her wardrobe. Ruxandra didn’t noticed in what store she entered because she was still busy searching for her scarf. Finally when she unstuck her eyes from the purse she noticed someone was looking at her. A weird combination of feeling embraced her in that moment. Firstly she thought that she just had the impression but when she heard the man speak to her, she calmed down. “Well, yes, kind of…” the woman answered just to avoid telling the stranger that she wasn’t even paying attention to the store she was in, and that she was paying attention to the missing scarf. “ Nice to meet you, Josh” Ruxandra babbled while she was stretching her arm as well. “ I’m Ruxandra, and I’m the deputy headmistress of Beauxbatons”
