CLOSED FOR TINLEY theres a thunder in our hearts baby so much hate for the ones we love TAG: TINLEY OUTFIT: THE PIC ABOVE ONE LAST THING: FINALLY I MADE IT! SORRY IT TOOK SO LONG. AND SORRY IT IS KINDA LAME ):
A lot of empty seats could be seen in classes while the Hospital Wing was filled with students. It seemed to be that time of the year again as flu was going around not giving mercy to anyone it came in touch with. And even Yuki who was even overly hygienic to say the least had also gotten this unwanted gift. It wasn’t as bad as some people had it though. Not yet anyway. Curse, if it did become so bad that he would end up in the Hospital Wing as well! No way would he let that happen. He needed to study. Study, study, study. He would do everything in his power to defeat such an evil enemy.
The young male coughed a few times as he walked towards the kitchens in the empty corridor. Everyone were bound to be asleep now, so it would be perfectly safe to sneak in there. Now, Yuki wasn’t one to break rules really, but now he didn’t really have a choice. I mean, there’s always a choice, but if he didn’t get something warm to drink now his sore throat would kill him. He would need to sleep at least a few hours, so that he would be enough wake during class and would be able to concentrate. And it was impossible to sleep with a sore throat, I tell you. Therefore the kitchens. Therefore… a cup of hot chocolate. Or tea? Which one would be better? Chamomile tea would probably be his best option, so that he would be able to fall asleep better, but hot chocolate was so tempting… Let me tell you a secret. I know something that will cure any flu. His twin’s spirit told him and he sounded like was smirking through his speech. That was never a good sign. Sure you do, but I don’t care. I’m getting a hot cup of tea or hot chocolate. And don’t even try telling me whatever it is you were thinking… Yuki thought, rolled his eyes and knew his brother heard it all. A living sibling would be a lot better, really. Things would be so much easier.
After finding the familiar painting that he had seen so many times during his years in Beauxbatons he grinned at the carrot and tickled it until it turned into a door handle. Without thinking twice he opened the door and walked in, not seeing anyone there. “Hello?” His voice echoed in the empty kitchens and he let out a sigh; he would need to make the tea or hot chocolate without any help from the elves. He didn’t mind doing it himself, but it seemed to always taste so much better when an elf did it. Why was that anyway? They just made it perfect. Perhaps they had the exact right amount of heat and of course the timing needed to be perfect too. Oh well, he was able to make ok tea too. Or hot chocolate. Which one was he going to make?
Yuki placed the ingredients for the tea AND for the hot chocolate on the table and stared at all of them for a moment in order to decide. Come on, it’s not that hard. CHOOSE! Or better yet, make both. Then we can just head back to sleep. The spirit complained inside his head, though Yuki completely ignored it. This was important! He knew that it really would be a better choice to make some tea, but when had he last had a cup of hot chocolate?

-- Placing a finger to her lips, Tinley seriously couldn't make up her mind. Did she want to venture away from the comforts of her corner in the common room. A bitter wind threatened her from outside the window and was slowly coaxing her to get up; it was hot drink season after all. Shoving the many pillows from her body she stood up and strode out of the room. As she made her way down the castle halls it occurred to her that not many people were about and they hadn't been in classes much either. Of course a recent bout of the flu could be the cause of it all. Those poor souls.
Thankfully she hadn't caught anything yet and she wasn't planning on it. No, the idea of being separated from her classes, of not being able to finish any of her assignments gave her the worst feelings. If there was one thing that kept her smiling and happy, it was the feeling of accomplishment and a above average essay. It was a thrill not many understood. Pulling her book from underneath her arm, the young Rouerie figured a little reading wouldn't do any harm. There wasn't anyone about and walking through the halls got very boring, if you had no one to converse with, after a while.
Twenty minutes later, Tinley was parked directly in front of a very familiar painting. As she tickled the carrot, she could practically hear the tea calling her name...and perhaps a large slice of cake. Stomach growling with expectation she marched into the room. While she saw no elves, she did see a strange figure. Not knowing who it was (it could be an attacker, or worse someone that hated...anyone) she crept slowly behind them, her book raised above her head and ready to come crashing down.
"Oi! Who goes there?" she questioned, a bit fearfully but with a little confidence. Picking her leg up she stood in a, what she thought it was anyway, karate pose. "Just so you know I am skilled in the art of Karate. Speak now, or prepare to feel my wrath." --

CLOSED FOR TINLEY theres a thunder in our hearts baby so much hate for the ones we love TAG: TINLEY OUTFIT: THE PIC ABOVE ONE LAST THING: Gee, it sucks. Written with a phone ><
It wasn't easy to decide whether he should take hot chocolate or tea, but he had to make some kind of compromise. Therefore he decided that he would now make some hot chocolate and if after drinking it his throat still felt sore and if he still felt like not able to sleep, he would then make a cup of tea as well. Perfect!
Too bad he didn't even get the chance to start when a voice behind him asked who he was and threatened him with karate. With eyes as wide as plates he quickly raised his hands in the air and wondered if this was the end of his short miserable life. Well maybe his life hadn't been THAT bad. A lot of good things had happened and he had experienced many great and exciting things. Sure there were regrets too such as giving up on the love of his life and not always doing what his parents had wished him to do, but... wait, no buts! He needed to make things right with them! He couldn't die peacefully and would come back as a ghost and haunt people. Beauxbaton's kitchen's ghost... unfortunately he didn't look forward to that.
She's a female. A woman! You can beat her! Ah, but maybe it wouldn't be a fair fight after all... a woman against a helpless girl... hhmm. She would win, I guess. Too bad, so sad. You had a pretty boring life too. Yuki didn't find his brother's humour very hilarious, not in this kind if situation, not ever. It was probably true though that he wouldn't be able to defeat his female opponent if she knew karate, even if he would have had his wand with him. "Let's stay calm, ok? I'm going to turn around slowly and we can talk." He said in a calm voice, turned around slowly like he had said and looked at the female in front of him and finally recognizing who she was, although it was quite dark, but her red hair would lighten up even a pitch black room; how had he not recognized her from her voice though? He had found it familiar, but hadn't been sure. But perhaps it wasn't such a surprise seeing that they didn't really know each other and hadn't talked much to each other although they were from the same house. But different year, so maybe that's why then.
What in earth was her name? Every time he saw her he only thought about Ariel, but that was not her name. He had watched too many Disney movies apparently. Man, you got a bad memory, Yuki. She's Tinley. Well of course his brother remembered her name. Yuji would remember any females' name who he found attractive. "Tinley?" He finally asked, wondering if she remembered him or not. "It's umm... Yuki. I'm in Rouerie as well." He smiled kindly, though he wasn't sure if it just looked more like a creepy grin in the darkness. "Would you like some hot chocolate or tea?" He offered friendly, not sure if that as well sounded weird or not.

-- It wasn't as if this would be a fair fight; she would certainly not win. Just looking around now, foot still poised in the air, she grew nervous. So many, she took a silent gulp, sharp things. They glittered at her darkly and seemed to dare her to move. To say Tinley was clumsy would the understatement of the century. She was well past that and grew anxious at the thought of her needing to fend some person off.
Thankfully she was talked down from opening a can of butt-whooping as the current subject of her defensiveness came into view. "Oh, good." she sighed happily and set her foot down as well her book. "Hey Yuki. Yeah, I remember you." His name had surfaced once the light illuminated his face. Not someone she'd spent much time with they weren't exactly strangers, nor were they friends. She supposed they could helped each other in class or something but she couldn't recall anything recent.
Walking over to where he stood she tossed the choices around in her mind for a moment before finally saying something, "I think i'll stick with tea. Better for the nerves I think." She smiled warmly and set her book on the large wooden counter. "Quiet night don't you think? I wonder where the elves have gone."
They were usually bustling around somewhere around the castle, but at this time most would find them in the kitchens especially with all the kids coming down with such sicknesses. Perhaps that's where they were, keeping the bathrooms clean and helping the nurse. Either way the weren't here and Tinley, despite her many years at the castle, had no idea on how to get to finding that cake she wanted. She hoped this night wasn't going to get anymore complicated.--

The young male let out a sigh of relief once she said that she remembered him and seemed to have calmed down as well. No danger anymore. “Phew, you really scared me. I didn’t expect anyone to be here at this hour.” He said in all honesty, finally able to feel completely relaxed. The demon inside of him snorted though and Yuki was sure Yuji had also muttered ‘coward’, but said nothing else, so the Rouerie decided to not reply anything either; it was better to just stay quiet during these situations before things would get too heated. Yuki hated arguments more than anything and his twin knew this very well which why he on purpose tried to push his buttons. The spirit loved annoying him.
"I think I'll stick with tea. Better for the nerves I think."
“Tea it is!” Yuki nodded and gave her a warm smile and started making some tea for both of them. She was absolutely right, tea was better for the nerves. That’s why he definitely should take it too instead of hot chocolate. After startling like that he really needed something that would calm him. “Yeah, it’s really quiet. Almost scarily quiet.” He replied to her while waiting for the water to boil. “I guess the house-elves are doing other duties.” It had always been somewhat hard for him to understand how devoted the house-elves were and how they felt so pleased to serve. Eh, well, maybe he was a bit same too. He was happy whenever he could make a friend of his happy. He lived to serve those close to him. It made him feel good if he was able to be useful and see a smile upon someone’s face. So in a way he understood them. But still, they worked so hard and at times it felt like they were slaves… But they were happy that way, so that was the only thing that mattered, right?
Once the tea was boiling he poured some on both cups, leaving a bit space for milk too, in case she wanted it with her tea. “Would you like it with milk?” He asked politely, pouring some in his own cup before turning to look around to see if there was anything else. Something to eat. Where could they find something, even something small? Hhmm, what would be perfect with tea? Toast or cake? “This place is so huge and I never remember where everything is, although I’ve been here quite a few times. How do the elves remember what is in which fridge and closet…?” Yuki shook his head and started opening the closets, only finding plates, glasses and mugs, but nothing eatable.
“Uh…” That’s when he suddenly realized something; Tinley was a prefect. It gave him the urge to quickly explain himself to her. “You know I normally don’t break rules, I don’t go out during the night really… Just that my throat was sure and I needed something warm, so that’s the only reason I came here in the middle of the night. I know it’s not allowed to wander here at nights, but I felt like I couldn’t sleep without getting something warm to drink… I hope you forgive me.” He spoke fast as he started to panic a bit again, hoping that he wouldn’t lose any house points because of this. He had been a prefect himself before so he knew the rules very well. Ugh, why hadn’t he been more careful.

-- Tinley nodded once, "I understand. I hope I didn't give you too much of a fright. Oh and between you and me, that was about all the karate that I know." Placing her hand on the back of her head she stood there sort of awkwardly, not really knowing what to do with herself. She hadn't expected him to be so helpful. But Yuki was pretty nice from what she remembered so it almost seemed like he enjoyed it, helping people. "They must be otherwise they'd be hounding us to take whatever we liked and more." Tinley had a soft spot for the house-elves, they were seriously the kindest, sweetest creatures in the whole world. She saw the around the castle often and would strike up a conversation with them once in a while. It didn't last long before they would offer to do something for her. They really seemed to enjoy their jobs but one couldn't help but feel a little bit of pity for them.
Tinley smiled at Yuki and shook her head, "No milk for me. I've never took much of a liking to it." She graciously pulled her own cup towards her, letting it cool before she dared drink any of it. She remembered what happened last time she was greedy; the roof of her mouth was sore for an entire week. Oh, the agony. So, she instead helped him look for any source of food. "They must have everything memorized. I would too though if it involved food." Tinley giggled as they searched and soon it turned in a full out chuckle of excitement. "Jackpot! I found some cake and biscuits." Doing her normal food dance she proceeded to pluck a few thing from inside the little area and brought it over to the part of the room. "Probably not the best idea at this time of the night but who cares?" she said, offering some of the food to him.
That's when he began apologizing for being out so late and in response she waved his worries away. "Relax. You aren't in trouble. I'm not that much of a horrible person." she said jokingly, "No, you have no need to worry Yuki. I'm sure it isn't the first time a student has wandered the halls after dark and it certainly won't be the last. We all do it." --
