Name: Rowan Elliot Age: 16 House: Sournois Desired Position: Beater
What's your Quidditch Background?
"This is entirely my sister Emilie's fault. I had no desire to even watch a game of quidditch before she insisted I help her train at home during the summer after her first year (I was eight). I don't know why I agreed, I had no experience but I guess teaching me how to beat helped her make her house team in her second year. While I'll never love the sport nearly as much as she does (she plays professionally now), nothing is better than the exhilaration of being up in the air and beating. I've played in summer leagues ever since Emilie got me in to the sport and I just feel so at home with my bat. Also, it's great for releasing pent up anger."
RP Sample: Rowan was, generally, a cool and very collected person. She liked being in control and like attractive things. However it was well-known that as soon as Rowan stepped on a quidditch pitch - whether it be for a practice or game - that all flew out the window. While played, Rowan became increasingly angry as games/practices wore on as a result of all the chaos. Certain aspects of the game made her especially angry, such as when other beaters hit the bludgers at her when she wasn't looking. Like right now. Frowning angrily over her shoulder, Rowan sat up on her broom and tried to spot the beater responsible for sending a bludger whizzing over her head. Seeing no one, she returned to what she had been doing before her rude interruption, scanning the pitch for a bludger to aim at the Cossu chaser who was getting increasingly closer to the Sournois goal posts. The most annoying thing about being a beater was that there was only two bludgers on a field at one time between four beaters. In her personal opinion, Rowan was convinced that if there were hundreds of bludgers released during a game of qudditch it would be endlessly more interesting.
Catching sight of a bludger flying towards her chaser, Rowan flew to intercept the flying ball. As she did so she caught sight of the opposing seeker make an impressively steep dive so that instead of hitting the bludger towards the chaser she sent itt towards the Cossu seeker. She pictured it either knocking them off course so that they lost sight of whatever they saw (hopefully not the snitch) or alerted her own seeker that something was going on. She didn't have a chance to watch the result before she saw the other bludger smacked towards her keeper just as they went to save the sneaky chaser's shot. Rowan muttered angrily as she took off after it, despite being painfully aware that her attempts were futile, there was no way she was going to make it in time. She quickly looked for her fellow beater, wondering if they would have a better chance getting to the other side of the field. Otherwise, she would simply have to rely upon her keeper's ability to dodge bludgers while making saves. She was thankful when the keeper made the save, deciding that taking a hit was the better option.
The Sournois qudditch team was known for doing whatever they had to to win. In the past they had resorted to sabotage and, while Rowan preferred to win based on skill, there were days they still did that. Today was one of those days due to how close the score was, 50-40 to Cossu and Rowan was annoyed with the entire Cossu team and on edge. It didn't help that she knew that Emilie was in the stands, taking time out of her busy life to support her. She wanted to win today not just for herself but for Emilie who was the one who had gotten her in to quidditch in the first place. Rowan was willing to pull a Sournois and do everything she could to win this game. She let herself get lost in the game, beating bludgers as they came towards her and flying full tilt when needed. She gradually ran out of energy as the game wore on, she anxiously awaited for the commentators the exclaim excitedly the winner of the game. She didn't know how long she could keep this up but then she caught sight of Emilie and she got her second win. She had a quidditch game to win.

Name:Grace BrownAge: Sixteen House: Sournois Desired Position: Chaser What's your Quidditch Background? Anarosetta Grace Brown. The name of a girl who was born to a wealthy witch named Jocelyn Parker, and a muggle doctor named Michael Brown. Sge gad attended Hogwarts and been a chaser on the Slytherin Team. When she was fifteen they had been tortured into insanity by Grace's older cousin. She had been forced to live with her abusive housekeeper. But she wasn't going to give up and live with that old lady. So she boarded her broom and flew away from Hogwarts, and after a while She had made it to France. Flying brooms reminds Grace of her parents. It is partly for that reason that she loves the sport so much. RP Sample: The alarm clock beside her bed buzzed and Grace let out a groan. Why did she have to be getting up at 7:00 this morning. She didn't understand it either. The practice wasn't until 9:00, so she didn't seem to have any reason to get up. But she had to. Her team captain had programmed the clock to buzz, even after the snooze bar was hit. Grace lifted her arm and swung it at the clock. It had fallen onto the carpet. For five seconds it was peaceful in the dorm. But of course, all good thing have to come to an end. The clock started buzzing twice as loud. At this point Grace was upset. Upset to the point where she stomped out of bed and threw it out of the window. She could now just barely hear it. She let out a sigh of relief and collapsed onto her bed. She looked at her watch. She couldn't believe her eyes. It was already 8:30. How and when did that happen!? She ran over to her closet, where her red quidditch robes were. She had accidentally ordered them a size too large, so the robe was dragging on the ground. She sat on her Nimbus 2001 and zoomed out of her window and onto the pitch. She looked curiously at her teammates, who were all lined up in a row doing pushups. "What's with the pushups?" Grace had asked the team captain, who was looking angrily at Grace. He took this way too seriously. "You're late, Brown" she had pointed out. "I realized that, but you could answer my question" "The game is in ten minutes" he had said breathing heavily. He looked pretty pissed off. Grace had had no idea that there would be a game today. Perhaps the team was just pulling a prank on her. That was it. But grace was proved wrong when seven roueries came marching up to them in their robes. The team had rose into the air and gotten into position. Grace could feel her hands growing sweaty. She wiped them on her robe just ad the whistle blew. What seemed like fifty people started flying around everywhere. She looked at the scoreboard. In the past fifty seconds, Rouerie had gotten twenty points. She zoomed left quickly just as a rouerie beater had tried to hit her with a bludger. Honestly? That Rouerie seriously thought they could get her to fall off of her broom. Well too bad for them, because it wasn't going to happen. She slammed the quaffle in ger hand, which sent the fourth year into her own goal post, with the quaffle. She didn't mean to hurt the kid. Just show her that she had no chance of winning or getting any points. Now the roueries couldn't score a point without hurting the poor little girl. Grace pushed her long brown hair out of her face and behind her ears. She lifted a quaffle as she zoomed over to where a Sournois was throwing a quaffle into the goal post. It landed inside the hoop, and the player zoomed away. Grace threw the ball into the hoop. Was the keeper even paying attention? It didn't look like it. This is for my other account.
