It was one of those nights where staying in her room had just not been an option. It had felt cramped, and when she felt cramped, she escaped. Tonight had been no exception. She'd thrown on a dark jacket and left the Sournois common room. From there she had wondered along the various corridors and rooms of the castle. Once in a while she came upon others. Some were alone and others were snogging and doing other such things. Most of them she crept by without them ever realizing she was there. There was something to be said for that particular ability.
Now, she found herself in the dungeons. It wasn't a place that she often came though strangely enough it was one of her favorites. It was dark and damp, and she knew that it was chilly though she could no longer feel the chill. Not too many came down here and stayed for long, but she had met some interesting people here. Even when she didn't, it was a nice place to think or let off some steam if needed.
Tonight, the place was quiet. There was the sound of water dripping from somewhere, and every once in a while she could here the sound of something coming down from elsewhere in the castle, but it seemed that nothing was happening here right now. Slowly, she slid down the wall until she was sitting with her legs crossed on the ground.
After a moment of simply sitting and thinking, she took her wand from her pocket. Then, she began to make some small fireworks shoot out of her wand followed by a couple of bubbles. It wasn't for anything particular other than to try and get her mind off of the thoughts that were running about inside. Doing magic helped that, and fireworks were one of her favorite things to create. Of course, she had to be careful to listen for other people. It would be rather unfortunate if another person happened to come by and get lit on fire by her magic.

❤ but I’ll kneel down, wait for now I’ll kneel down, know my ground
What an awful evening she had. It was way too boring for the twenty seven year old female to spend her spare time completely alone. It was awful. There could be no other word to describe how she was feeling deeply inside her fragile body. In a fairly antique, but somehow very stylish decorated room, a tall woman was resting her tired body on a sofa lines with soft cushions. Her eyes were closed and her mouth open. She was dreaming… but still awake. She was aware of every noise that could be heard with human ears. A small phoenix, was resting inside his cage looking at his mistress. That day had been ordinary, like any other day from that week. Tzarina fulfilled her duties and returned to her room, where she stood by herself until the next day. Dulness. What a simple word, yet very heavy for this particular woman. What on earth could she do to change that situation. It had passed a very long time since she dated anyone. Was she destined to remain alone? Maybe or maybe not.
The woman opened slowly here eyelids revealing some blue eyes. Firstly, she scanned the room to check on her little phoenix, afterwards she crossed her fingers through her brown hairs which was shorter than usual. She preferred ti adopt a shorter – but not too short – hairstyle. It suited her really well, at least that was what everyone kept telling her yesterday. It felt very nice the new do. On a dark wooden table, near the window from the opposite wall, there was a silver plate full with cookies, and near it there was a bowl with fruits. Tzarina moved across and took a cookie and an apple. She like that combination, it was so savory and delicious. The woman continued to delight herself with the apple and the cookie quietly, and afterwards she went to the bathroom and washed her hands with a magical potion that killed all the bacterias from her delicate hands. The mirror from the wall was wept. Tzarina moved her pointing finger from her left hand and she drew various shapes including hearts. Her childish side came out to the light.
She had to do something not to remain inside her room. It was important for her sanity to get out from that room, to go somewhere else where she could realx, watch students, maybe, or get to know much better with the new teachers. Lately, there had been made a lot of changes at Beauxbatons, andit was her duty to be aware with all the new things. The woman went and opened a large wardrobe, chose with her wand, randomly an outfit, she got dressed pretty quickly and she stepped out from her resting room. Before doing that, though, she glanced at her little phoenix and blew him softly a kiss. “Love you darling” the woman whispered, and afterwards she closed the door behind her. As she climbed down the stairs she realized that it was already dark outside. Her blue eyes scanned the windows as she was crossing the corridors. It was pretty quite… quite really odd. She was used with noise, and that quietness was so out loud for her ears. She kept crossing the corridors and no one, outside from the ghosts crossed her path until she saw a student making small fireworks. “Hello, may I help you with something?” she said out loud after watching the student for a minute or so.

Her mind was slowly working itself out. Many thoughts came at her but did not hurt the way they had earlier. It seemed like the calming effect of doing magic was assisting yet again. Still, there were some things that she avoided thinking about. It just wasn't time, and honestly she wasn't sure if she could handle it. It was what she always did; she suppressed the things that really bothered her until she felt ready. Of course, sometimes that took ages, but it worked for her. This time, however, she wasn't sure if she'd ever be ready. Perhaps it was best if she went on and faced what was troubling her.
She wasn't left long to mull over this because in the next instant, a voice startled her out of thought. Clearly she had been so distracted by her own thoughts that her keen senses hadn't even registered that another person was there. Immediately she stood to face the person the voice belonged to, and as soon as she saw who it was, Rachele felt her words leave her for a moment. Standing in front of her was the deputy headmistress.
The deputy head was someone that Rachele had seen before but had never talked to or had any sort of contact with. She was a beautiful woman, and Rachele felt immediately nervous about talking to her. However, she'd been asked a question and needed to answer. "Hi," she started shyly. "Sorry, I was just...I have a lot on my mind. Magic helps me think." Saying it out loud made her feel a little silly, but it was the truth. Of course, she probably could have chosen something a little better and a little less dangerous than fireworks.
"I'm sorry," she said again. Then, she remained quiet trying to keep her gaze on the woman in front of her rather than letting her head hang to the floor. Besides her parents and a teacher that was gone now, Rachele always had difficulty speaking to adults. This was no different. Still, she reflected, it had been a lot easier to answer this woman than it had ever been with anyone else. That was a positive.
