Behind the Name...
Being the first daughter of the Lilly family, Lisa wanted her to have a unique name. Something that would stand out in the eyes of every townsperson where they lived. The name Kabriel was given to her because the name Gabrielle hadn't really suited her - all they did was replace the G with a K, and everything worked out from there. Like each Lilly before her, one of her given middle names was that of a parent (in her case, Lisa) and the name Yvette was given to her because of her grandmother always adoring the name, and wishing to have a daughter by that name before she died but was unable to do so.

Birthday
Kabriel was born June 14th, making her a Gemini. She's a great explorer and loves everything to do with adventuring and finding new things. Unbeknownst to her, she does desire to be a little ahead in terms of trends and leadership, but that's something that has developed over time. The day she was born, there was a flurry of excitement at the first Lilly girl, and her seven older brothers had each had different reactions - all ranging from excitement to rage and silence. Everyone was very curious about the addition of a girl to the family, especially one who possessed their Veela mother's traits more vibrantly. She left the womb and shed many tears, but once she was being held by her mother, father and brothers the baby turned quiet and giggly. It's been like that ever since.

Lisa Lilly is, in fact, 100% Veela blooded. This caused a problem for the family since Kabriel's mother has a raging temper and it resulted in many broken dishes (among other household items) and Kabriel was lucky enough to be blessed with her father's tolerance. Lisa was unique though, since from birth she was breeded. This was a secret program the Ministry of Magic (France) was working on, and had been working on, for many years and generations. The program was shut down as new creature rights were established and Lisa was left to go. Her parents, however, were unknown to her as all the files were burned or archived so she had no access to them. She was invited into the Frost household, an adopted daughter to the family, and lived among the family of werewolves happily until she decided to venture out on her own. This would mean that each Lilly child is one half veela. This is very uncommon, and something that the family cherishes close to them as their father is a pure blood. They are a magical family who has known nothing more than their magical and beautiful ways.

as Rapunzel Rapunzel is considered to be a free spirited princess in the Disney adaption of Tangled and Kabes represents her through her ability to be joyous and optimistic and is a rather good problem solver at times as well. She is goofy and naive, often not thinking of consequences when she does something (even though it could be a blatantly stupid idea) and she's very keen on adventures and living her life. She feels like there's something out there she's destined to do, and she'll go out and find that thing whether or not it kills her!

as Ariel As far as Ariel goes, Kabriel is very good at falling fast and hard in love like this Disney princess. Kabes loves to swim and frolic in the water and when summertime comes, you could find her out on the lake, enjoying a little dip regardless of the creatures that lurk beneath the mirrored surface of the lake. Kabriel and Ariel are both boisterous and fun, eager to learn and sometimes a little slow on the delivery (or in understanding things). To be frank, they are both rather impulsive and a little... well, ditzy. But in a way, those traits are what make the two so loveable.

as Tigger T-I-DOUBLE GUH-ER. TIGGER! Kabriel and Tigger are alike in so many ways. The first to come to mind would be their hyper levels. Both Kabes and Tigger are extremely hyper and are both (always) ready for some fun, unknowing adventure that is sure to brighten their spirits. Both are optimistic and break the rules sometimes (even if in the Hundred Acre Wood there really are no rules...) and they're both a little silly and stupid when it comes to certain other things. They each have trouble comprehending academic subjects but have no problems in understanding things like... love and friendship, and courage. Those things that matter most.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,440,true] CHRISTOPHER "TOPHER" DUNSTANT - topher was kabriel's first love. the two of them first met in the dining chamber while discussing books that, although different, drew them together. back then, kabriel was more serene and more whimsical than she is now, if possible. she and topher spent about a year together, each growing and learning from the other. it was a romantic relationship full of its ups and downs, passions and new territories being explored. he was the one who first interested her as far as men went, and he was the one who broke her heart the most. the first love is always the deepest cut, of course and he left a gash that took a while and many crushes and innocent flirtations to heal. topher and kabriel ended things terribly, hurting one another before topher moved on to the girl who was there for him when kabriel had betrayed him - kissing another under compulsion. but even though the vampire that had cornered her with his ruse had used magic to convince her to betray her beloved, the damage had already been done and he had moved on. still, some part of her will always love how the two had been together, but she knows now that she needs to be more careful when it comes to others who may want to see her crumble.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,440,true] LILY JAMES HARPER - kabriel and lily are the best of friends anyone has ever seen. many names have been used to describe the two - bunny buddies, bffls, and of course adventurers. nothing could ever tear the two apart. even through thick and thin, sadness and happiness, the two have been loyal to one another and always there for encouragement when it came to taking that next great leap into the unknown adventure that could lead to a fantastical discovery. they are both hyper and imaginative, creating worlds others could only dream of. lily has created a kabriel who is more outgoing and friendly, and she has helped shape her into the girl who she is today. kabes is nothing without lily to be there and encourage her. when both of them became prefects, kabes couldn't have been more thrilled. the two could talk for hours, days even, without even batting an eye at an awkward silence. lily has been there through thick and thin and kabriel will be forever indebted to the girl's unwavering friendship, especially when kabriel needed it most.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,440,true] OTIS APOLLO BARBERIS - kabriel and otis have known one another for years now. they've grown off the other and gained traits from one another, shaping each other into the great individuals they are. otis, with his charisma and leadership, helped give kabes more confidence to plan and spend time with friends on her terms and theirs, while still maintaining a leadership role. she became more friendly and outspoken with his help, and she's become closer and closer to him and his family ever since. the lilly's and barberis' are now a close knit bunch when you see them at beauxbatons because each family has a trusting nature in the other and they both share the same values. like kabriel, otis is very friendly and adventurous, enjoying a good hike and imagination with the girl any time. kabriel has always looked up to otis, especially when he was head boy. kabes has always thought otis to be a superhero, someone who would always be there for her like her brothers. he was always the reasonable one, the one who kept her grounded and logical when she got ahead of herself. even though this was the case, otis was also able to bring a smile to her lips even when it was the darkest of situations. she knows she can always rely on otis to be there for her, since he is the superhero of her (platonic) dreams.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,440,true] LEIGHTON JANE WALKER - the girls hit it off from the start. kabriel, with her outgoing and girly nature, a contrast to leighton's darker, more mysterious side. the two girls were an unlikely match, but got along swimmingly. that is, until heartbreak. even before kabriel and topher had ended things, topher and leighton had been spending many an afternoon together by the lake, talking and laughing, sharing secrets and memories. kabriel was never worried that topher would stray... but when she had confided in leighton that she had been compulsed into kissing a vampire, the girl had betrayed her and broken her trust. leighton and topher had been together after that, always together. it crushed kabriel to see that the two were moving forward and leaving her behind in the dust. those few months were months she would always remember and dread ever happening again. leighton did what kabriel should have done, and she had taken away almost everything kabriel had loved. because of this, kabes had become more withdrawn from all her friends except for lily and otis. leighton had since then become one of the few people kabrile could openly dislike, for stealing the life she had. even though it's been years, kabriel has never recovered from the breach of trust her friend violated. she's happy that leighton and topher had found one another and become so engrossed in their emotions that life itself seemed to be a dream, but she will never forget how leighton got there, knowing full well to keep her secrets guarded close to her heart.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,440,true] ANASTASIA CLARISSA KNOWLES - anastasia and kabriel are the best of friends now. they share a dormitory with one jenna hawthorne in cossu and the three girls are incredibly close. anya and kabriel can share secrets and discuss their loved ones together. kabriel and anastasia are like sisters, and although anastasia may not know this, kabriel has always thought of her as someone older and wiser, someone who could help her when she has questions about the future and about experiences that only came with age. kabriel will always be there for anastasia, and because of the girl's relationship with her boyfriend (or fiancée) alcott thurston, kabriel knows that true love really can exist. she is fully supportive of their promise ring and couldn't be happier for anastasia. the two girls will hopefully still remain friends since kabriel and anastasia get along so well, it's incredible that they find ways to say goodbye (or goodnight).

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,440,true] IVANOV TROVSKY - ivanov and kabriel are so different: it was one of the things that made them so wonderful together. ivanov was the first boy kabriel had been with since topher, not to say that she didn't flirt or go out with others, but her and ivanov had been together for over a year and back then, she couldn't ever see her love for him escaping away and leaving her heartbroken. the two, although different in personality, shared some common interests of the outdoors, reading, imaginative worlds and discovery. kabriel had always been fond of his photograhy, loving how he was so passionate about it... everything about him intrigued her on a daily basis, providing new experiences each and every day with him. ivanov was more quiet than herself, he was someone kabriel knew she cpuld just lie with and have no reason to speak. the two could have gone days, just lying with each other, saying nothing but feeling everything. kabriel loved ivanov and when he told her that he loved her, she was over the moon. as time wore on, the two become a little more distant, not seeing one another as often as they would like. but as is true with most lovers, distance and time made their hearts grow fonder. so fond, in fact, that their most recent rendez-vous in the enchanted forest led to something more than anything kabriel had ever experienced in her entire life. he was her first real, insane, life-changing love whom she had given everything to. he was her first, period. now that the two had shared that experience, they feel even closer than ever, hoping to spend more time with one another by achieving that love that she's only really read about in fairytales.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,440,true] AISLIN CLOVE FARRADAY - the aislin of teh raisins is kabriel's craziest buddy. with that more-than-a-pinch of fairy blood in her, she makes kabriel feel a little inadequate when it comes to pranks and tomfoolery but at the end of the day, no matter what havoc they have wreaked together, they are best friends and will be for many years to come! kabes loves aislin to pluto and back because of the way the two can act together. even after being apart for ages, the two can reconnect and be like best friends all over again. they share a house and they share awesomeness. although kabes and aislin have somewhat different social circles, no matter what happens, kabes and aislin will always have each other (and the sack)! aislin is the one who brings out kabes' best craziness at the worst and best times. she's the girl who can make kabes do the silliest things by just existing and being around her. kabes would be nothing with out aislin and she'd have it no other way!

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,440,true] SCARLETT BENNET - not one of kabriel's oldest friends, she is still one of her closest! kabes and scarlett are the same person in different bodies. it's like they share the same mindset (well, almost haha). both girls have been apart of each other's lives for years, and kabes looks up to scarlett with all her heart. scarlett is one of the sweetest girls kabes has ever met (if not the sweetest) and she loves her to a million pieces. kabes affectionately nicknamed her 'scarbar' (it sounds like bear! she would argue) and has always been treating her with respect and adoration ever since. even though they're in different houses, kabes has found time to spend with scarlett and has managed to find out a few things about her that she wouldn't otherwise know. she knew about scarlett and lucien and is eager to see them reconcile (hopefully!) since she loves both scarlett and lucien to bits. she only wants to see scarlett happy again since it's been a while since she's seen her dear friend at all. hopefully everything will work out for scarlett and kabes will certainly be there for her, in case she needs some cheering up! that's what kabes and scarlett do best, after all.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,440,true] ASAHRIA LEE RYEK - asahria is kabes' IDOL. kabriel has always looked up to asahria as the golden girl who (essentially) owned beauxbatons and embodied everything there was about beauxbatons. kabes loves asahria dearly and would run to the farthest ends of the earth for her if she had just a shot of being just like her when she got a little older. even though there's a small age difference and kabes knows many who are her age, there's just something incredibly special about asahria that has kabes somewhat worshiping the ground she walks on. kabes doesn't want to be exactly like asa, since no one can be, but she wants to take a leaf from the older girl's books. asa was head girl after all, and kabes knew her that way until she left beauxbatons for a few years. grateful that she's back, kabes is wasting no time in getting back into the groove of things - loving asahria and getting to know the secrets to her success in school and life. everything just seems to perfect about asahria through kabriel's eyes and it's as though there's this brilliant halo surrounding the girl. kabriel has and always probably will look up to asahria.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,440,true] MATHEW AMHERST - as awful as it is that he protects her like there's no tomorrow, mattie is kabriel's all time favourite male cousin of the family (in fact, he's the only one as far as she knows) and there's just something comforting about having him around. he's more aggressive than all of her brothers, and he's just so entertaining. mattie's got a way of cheering kabes up when she's down and making her feel safe and cuddly. the way that he's around for her has always been a large factor of her confidence since he's just the type of guy to be there for her whenever she may need him. sometimes, she questions his motives with girls since she has never fully understood the desire to flirt with so many people with the intention mattie has, but at the same time, there was something mystical about how mathew managed to seduce women with ease. like most family, they fought a bit and argued about how she wasn't allowed to be with a boy but mathew was allowed to be with many girls, but at the same time she knew that he was just looking out for her and that sometimes, when he saw her with another boy, his protective instincts just kicked in. that was definitely something she didn't want to lose in him. as much as she wants a little more independence, mattie being around just made her feel secure enough to be as independent as she wants (unless a guy turns up).

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,440,true] MORRIGAN MASEN - morgs is one of her only female cousins and she's kabriel's only cousin who is something more than a pureblood. the two aren't fully related, they are related through an adoption of kabriel's mother, but they are still close. kabriel has always looked up to morrigan who has always seemed invincible to her. morgs is independent and more strong than kabes in more ways than one, and kabes has always wished to feel more like that. morrigan has always been a good role model to her, as far as kabes knows, and through everything that morrigan has been through, kabriel wants nothing more than for her to be happy. morrigan is special to her and she will always love her to a million pieces and back because she's family. not blood related, but family. ever since she became a masen, morrigan has always been a little happier and a little more... her and kabriel likes this girl, because this girl seems to love her back and it's all very sweet. well, most of the time. sure the two girls argue sometimes, but it's like they're sisters - family is family, and protection is in their blood.
