{ relationship } Married - Alcott ThurstonAnastasia, being the middle sister between Taylor and Claudia, has always been attached to her sisters. She looks out for them in any way possible and is always the first to congratulate or comfort them if needed. Something about being the middle sister helped with the relationship between the three girls too – she almost acted as the glue between Taylor and Claudia who, due to Taylor taking residence in Connecticut, US for her studies, never seemed to see eye to eye. Anastasia originally thought this was to do with Claudia only being a half-sister but, as time went on, it was clear that it was the distance that kept them apart.
Anastasia and Scott, despite him being married to Taylor for around two years or so, have only ever met face to face once at their wedding. Even then, Anastasia did not get chance to talk to him for long but already saw that he was very kind, considerate and intelligent. Despite not knowing Scott very well, Anastasia is one hundred per cent supportive of her older sister's marriage. Scott attends Yale University alongside Taylor; Yale being the place they first met during Taylor's freshman and Scott's sophomore year.
After the death of her father, Anastasia began to see her step father as the key male in terms of family life. Anastasia and Daniel are very close and do act almost like father and daughter. He is very caring for both his step daughters (Anastasia and Taylor) and would do anything for them, despite not being their true father. For example, Daniel walked Taylor down the aisle during her wedding to Scott rather than the bride’s true father - a role that Anastasia has asked her stepfather to repeat for her own upcoming wedding.
