She loves wearing her hair down, but whenever she has her hair up, she likes having it in a bouncy pony tail. She doesn't put that much effort into her day to day appearance, but when given the opportunity (or wanting to impress someone), Arden will go out of her way to look a little extraordinarily beautiful.

Worst Memory Being embarrassed by her sisters in front of her old school. They managed to expose her journal in front of everyone, all because Arden wouldn't allow them to have the last slice of her birthday cake. She was eleven.

Best Memory When she went, on her own, on a hike in Scotland through the rolling hills and found herself comfortably at the peak of one, alone, and could see far and wide. She saw animals and rivers, and everything seemed peaceful. She sat there for the rest of the day and slept under the stars. She has never felt more at ease than she did then. When she returned home, she was grounded for being out so long, but her wish upon a passing shooting star came true - magic.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,440,true] MARLENA JACOBY - arden's cousin, the two girls are extremely close. marlena is arden's cousin on her mother's side, since her mother is siblings with her brother. marlena was gifted with magical powers and since then the two girls have been practically inseparable which made for an easy transition into beauxbatons together. marley was always there whenever her sisters taunted her and she was the first person she would go to in case there was an issue surrounding them. with both of them at beauxbatons now, it honestly helped arden's confidence grow so that one day she'll be able to make friends a little more easily. marley is very different from arden since she's talented in areas, so arden still hides her interest in the dark arts from her because she doesn't want marley to think of her negatively.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,440,true] RAIF DONOVAN - besides being an anonymous boy in one of her classes, she thought of him as more of the bad boy meets preppy kind of guy. you know, the guy who attracted just the right kind of girls for his taste. she sort of ignored him for most times, that is until he actually noticed her at the end of class once. she tried to avert him in the corridors but he eventually found her lurking in the library. the two had some apparent connection, most of it came from their similar sense of humour and use of sarcasm. arden still thinks of him as a little too good looking to be true, but regardless she won't let the opportunity go to waste. she thinks raif is actually a nice guy and has exposed a few of her interests to him (such as the idea of dark magic being extremely fascinating) and she can only hope he won't find her disturbing and leave her in the dust. taking a leap of faith is something the new arden is trying out this time.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,440,true] SAMPSON ABERNATHY - this boy is very much like raif... although arden doesn't know what she feels towards him quite yet. the two are of the same house and share some interests, but sampson is the type of guy arden doesn't want to get involved with at all. he's very devil-may-care and tends to treat women the way arden had been taught to avoid. even though she rebelled when she was younger and knew many guys like sampson, he takes the cake. he's manipulative towards her because of his desire and although she does find him attractive, it's very clear that she wants very little to do with him in that kind of way, but the two will turn out to be friends regardless.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,440,true] BEATRIX BINGHAM - bee has always been the one arden was always always always compared to when she was younger. she couldn't take two steps forward without having beatrix send her two steps back. she's the first child, the eldest girl and the one who so obviously was the more talented or more interesting one to the family and friends. arden, being the baby, always tried to respect beatrix but managed to find her more a nuisance than a friend or sister. she can't stand to be around her sister and even escaped going to hogwarts for beauxbatons to avoid the legacy her sisters had left behind - top grades, top in sports, everything. arden's trying to stray from their shadows. now that beatrix is at beauxbatons, arden can't help but resent her and even go so far as to hate her for coming to the school. there's a part of her that knows beatrix is only there to ruin her life and reminder her that she'll never live up to her standards.
