Fleur absolutely loved riding horseback. It was the closest thing to flying without actually using her wings. As soon as she could walk, she learned how to ride with a saddle, and then without one. She prefered to ride bareback as she loved the feel of the horse's skin. After settling into Beauxbatons during her first year, she had riden all of the horses in the stable and chosen the one she liked the best. Arielle was a beautiful horse and Fleur felt very intuned with her, so that riding her was so effortless.
She used to go riding with her cousin Kasey, who was in Cossu, but then Kasey gotten into her work and artisty skills.
Fleur missed her cousin, and all of her old friends who had graduated. She hoped she would meet some new friends. Fleur now used riding as a way to clear her head and to think.
Slowing Arielle down to a walk, they walked over to the stables and to Arielle's stall. Fleur flew off her back and started to take care of her, starting with an apple and a good brushing.

Lily woke up early in the morning. She felt like having a ride around Beauxbatons. Instead of putting on her usual blue robes with beret, Lily put on her best jodhpurs, blouse and helmet. She saw that Amanda was asleep, so, bringing her bag, she creeped down to the Dining Chamber, hoping she didn't disturb anyone.
As Lily got down to the chamber; other then a few pupils, it was deserted. Lily had her usual Bacon and egg, and then went down to the stables.
Lily tied her golden hair into a plait, not wanting it to get in the way of her riding. As Lily ran down to the stables, she saw horses of all different shapes and sizes, poking their heads out of there stable door. Lily patted each one in turn, then went to her favourite horse, Charlotte.
Charlotte was a 14hh Grey mare. This was Lily's favourite horse because it was like they understood each other. Lily went up to Charlotte and cared for her. The riding teacher had let her look after Charlotte and ride her every day.
After caring for Charlotte, Lily tacked her up and lead her to the exit of the stables. It was another sunny day and both were raring to go out. But as Lily passed Arielle's stable, she had saw the most peculiar thing. There was a Second Year girl who looked slightly older then Lily, in the stable. But the odd thing was, there were wings on her back. What this girl a fairy? Lily shook her head. It must be her imagination playing tricks on her again. Lily said Hi to the girl, and asked her if she wanted to do some riding with her.

Amanda got into her riding gear and headed down to the stables. She brushed Emma's mane. Emma was white mare with blue eyes. Since ger first day at Beauxbatons, she had come down to the stables every weekend. Amy finished braiding Emma's hair and hopped on her back. She had the pony go at a walk to the bench 300 yards away.
When they to tue bench, Emma slowed diwn and Amy gqve her a carrot. Amy smiled and twirled a strand if hair around her finger, she grabbed the reigns and started moving until she saw a second year, and her roommate Lily! She waved to her friend who was riding a gray mare named Charlotte. Charlotte and Emma were stallmates in the stable.
"Hey, Lily!" she said cheerfully to her friend.

Lily started riding with this girl, who's name was Fleur. Fleur had told her she was a fairy "Which explains the wings" Lily thought to herself. They both went riding in the beach, not talking much at all.
As they went down the beach, Lily spotted Amanda. She waved, and cantered down to her, slowly followed by Fleur.
Lily introduced Fleur to Amanda, and then all three of them cantered upon the beach, all three of them having an amazing time.

Amanda cantered down to the beach with Lily and Fleur. She hopped off to give Emma a carrot.
"It's cool that you're a fairy" she said as she fed Emma yet another carrot. "I'm part veela and Lily is a metamorphmagus" she added. "I can float above ground when I lift my heels" she said as she spun around in the air.
Amy then glided down and and onto Emma. Emma was so well behaved. Amanda got off again for another Carrot. Emma really did love to eat.

All three girls started cantering down the beach, each racing each other. Lily had never felt so great, the sense of freedom inside her.
Lily then slowed Charlotte to a halt. Maybe they could go for a swim in the sea? Lily bent down on Charlottes neck, and said "Do you want to go for a swim in the sea?" Lily wasn't expecting an answer, but as if in answer, the horse shook her head up and down. Lily laughed, and turned her to face the sea.
The horse and rider cantered down to the sea line, then as they entered the sea, Lily put her hair behind her ears. It was time to get wet.
