Hi everyone!

Just a reminder that term end will be soon approaching, closing THIS SUNDAY. After that, break will begin.

For those who are having trouble (posting twice, not having your post show) please be patient. Proboards will again be notified so we can try and fix this problem.

If you have reached the post count eligible for going up a year, please PM me, Tzarina or Jillian with your request.

And just a quick update on superlatives this year, they haven't been forgotten! They will be released in the upcoming weeks, so keep your eyes pealed! I hope you're as excited to see the winners (and their gorgeous banners) as much as I am!

There is also a new message from Proboards Support that you should all prepare for. Proboards v.5 is coming and you should expect some new changes coming your way! Please be patient as staff now are going to be adjusting the old forum to match what Proboards will be doing to "improve" its servers. Here's a taste of what is to come:

Operation: Spring Cleaning!

<sup>I just want to inform you all that currently there will be some changes coming to the board. Perhaps a new look. Also the boards are going to be cleaned out of old threads predating the new year.

We'll be evaluating activity levels for the usernames. So professors, shopkeepers, and other staff members will be expected to reply to let me know that he or she is still around. If there are no replies before the new term begins, then positions will be opened up again.

By the way the new term will begin May 16th and end August 22nd.

Also prefects and Head of Houses, I will soon put a message in the House Jobs Lounge. So make sure to check there often. It will be up by the end of the today.

And passwords for the lounge areas will be changed too. So I will be sending those out.

Expect some new contests! We'll be working on those to help boost activity and as always there will be rewards.

Also I want to add that since I'm going through inactive accounts, if I happen to delete yours and you're returning, just let me know which house you were sorted in. I cannot account for the number of posts you've had though; however, if you remember what year you were, then you will start from that amount of posts. Unless you were higher than a third year, then you will start at that mark. I apologize, but this is part of cleaning up and revamping a bit.

Surprise surprise!!!

So I have seen the concerns of the members and I want to assure you all that I've taken your suggestions into account. But I want you all to know that BB will not die, but forever go on!

Are you ready for what's going to happen?

Well first of all, I will be going through all the staff positions and if you have not been active within the past 3 months or posted, you will lose your position. There are other people out there interested in becoming something and we should give them that opportunity. If your name appears and you would like to keep your position, let me know. Your deadline will be a week from tomorrow: August 21st, 2013.

Carrington Ashley, Charlotte Smith, Charlotte Wakefield, Cledwyn Butler, Angelique Delacroix, Rosalie McLaughlin, Saphire Noble, and Anouk Bardoe.

I've noticed lately that we have been getting a lot of spammers on our site. So when I've chosen some new RP Mods, it will also be part of your job to nab those spammers.

At the moment, we will not transform BB into Proboards Enhanced since we do not have a layout worked out yet or coding. But don't worry, we're definitely going to be working on it. So until then, we'll just create a new seasonal layout to give the place a refreshing appearance. I'm thinking Autumn.

Now I know it's been hard to advance forward a year and the numbers have been the way they currently are for a long time. It does become discouraging knowing that you are active and have tried so hard, but just can't make the numbers to move up. So, the numbers provided by Kabriel Lilly seems like the perfect start. Remember that the current term ends on August 22nd.

I'd like to also add that the restrictions for RP posts have been lifted a bit. All RP posts should be at least 2-3 paragraphs, 5-7 sentences each. I know that some people love to be descriptive with their posts and practically write a novel. Please do continue that, but there are others who like to also get to the point. This place is to not only let your creativity flow, but also to let it grow. If you do want to RP with more description and length, just put in the subject Med or Adv RPers.

I'm going to modify one restriction to characters. All will still apply, except a member cannot hold more than 10 characters. That gives you an extra 5 more to what you currently are taking on. Just remember that if you have a staff position and it affects your activity because you have all these accounts, you will have to sacrifice some of your characters or your position.

Lastly, there will be a camping trip planned by our own Kabriel Lilly. The chaperons to this event are the Head of Houses: Constance Barrington, Joseph Barrington, and Colt Sommer.

AND! We're coming up with some competitions to go around the site. So keep a lookout for that!

It's that time of term everybody! Term 23 is now over and the break will begin! The break lasts for 2 weeks, so the new term will begin on the 6th of September and run until December 6th.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have moved up a year in posts, please visit this thread and respond to it before tomorrow at midnight EST-5. If you do not, you will have to wait until December 6th to move onto the next year.

ALRIGHT EVERYONE! TERM 24 IS COMING TO AN END SHORTLY.

Term 24 is ending and break is commencing. This break will not last for 2 weeks, but rather one month due to slight inactivity. But hopefully with the holidays coming up, there'll be a few surprises for you guys in store.

Term 24 will be ending on November 25th.
