The sun was shining more and things around were blooming. The temperatures were beginning to rise throughout the day as the sun peaked above. The duration of this time, Joseph was out in the gardens. He wasn't particularly tending to the greenery, but more of working on his tan. Joseph was stretched out on a wicker chaise lounge chair with a table set aside that held his icy lemonade. The house elves were so nice to treat him to a pitcher at which he requested an extra glass since he was expecting some company soon. Until that person arrives, he was going to enjoy the quiet grounds and scenery. This sure beats the winter outlook because Joseph hates the cold and prefers to be at a sunny beach or just in a warm place in general. If things went his way, he would actually be at their beach front with the family. He missed his brother William because the two got along so well. They were both men who loved a good game of quidditch. He was practically Joseph's role model, which he can't say much for Constance because she was just too good. Actually she was the perfect child, but mainly had problems with her romantic life. Joseph took a jab at it a couple of times, but he knew she had suffered a lot until recently. He preferred to act blind to her rendezvous with a student of hers. There was a story behind it, but until she was comfortable enough to explain herself, he just decided not to take an interest in her love life. Instead he poked fun at her old age and lack of spirit in her lessons. It must be boring having to sit through one of her Astronomy lessons, especially when it's held in the evenings. Bleh! Joseph also missed Harmony and Ainsley. He couldn't believe how much the two have grown over the past year. They were well set off with their beaus, making life much more interesting than his. Good thing they didn't follow in any of their footsteps. He hoped that he had some good influence on the two. They must all be having fun re-telling stories of their childhood, updating the events of their lives, seeing mum and dad, and enjoying the beautiful scenery of the ocean waves lapping against the sandy beach. He would miss the annual Barrington Quidditch match, but they would be down two players. He sighed feeling a little sad, but he knew that next break would be the time to reunite with the rest of them. For now he could put up with his sister...and then after he should take a trip to Paris to make up for losing a couple boring hours with her. |
