The palace seemed to have been more populated since Jenna had returned. There was hardly any quiet places any more as every time she found one she had used before, another student had taken up resident in that spot. The main place Jen always ended up was her dorm as she knew that nobody apart from her and her best friends ever stepped foot in the room.
At that moment, The sixteen year old was sitting on her bed, strumming some chords on her purple guitar. She was trying to write a song but the surroundings of the dorm weren't helping the girl to be inspired. "Ah ha." Jenna exclaimed as an idea shot into her head. "I can go to the auditorium for some fresher ideas." With that thought in her head, Jenna put her guitar back into the gig case, jumped off her bed, slipped her blue vans onto her feet, grabbed her iphone which immediately went into her jeans pocket, picked up her guitar case and headed out of the dorm locking the door behind her.
Jenna had been at Beauxbatons Academy for about three years and had been to the auditorium before so it only took her five minutes to arrive at the top of the stairs leading towards the stage. Running down the stairs, the brunette placed her guitar over two of the seats on the front row and unzipped the case in preparation to take the instrument out of the case. Placing her guitar on the stage, Jenna leapt up to sit on the edge of the stage, legs dangling over the edge and starting playing 'Love Story' by Taylor Swift. tagged: Amanda outfit: here word count: 277

Amanda was very bored that saturday morning. She had been reading a book about the history of Beauxbatons. She loved to read but just wasn't feelin' it today. She made herself some cocoa and got her clarinet. She also decided to bring her music player incase she wanted to dance in the auditorium.
Amanda loved Beauxbatons. She had only been here for a hew weeks, but was really enjoying it. She arrived at the auditorium after five minutes. Beaxbatons could be very large and confusing sometimes.
She walked in and closed the door behind her. Inside, there was an older girl playing guitar. She was really awesome. Amy sat down in the front row and looked up at her playing on the stage.

Jenna had been so lost in playing her guitar that she didn't see a young girl walk into the auditorium. The brunette had never seen the younger girl before and wasn't the type of person just to ignore new people. Carrying on with the taylor swift song, Jenna added in the lyrics. She had been told she had a really good singing voice which is what got her into songwriting.
Once she had finished the song, Jen immediately placed the guitar down gently onto the stage as she waited to see if her playing had gauged a reaction. Maneuvering herself off the stage edge, Jenna made herself comfortable on one of the front row seats nearer to the girl (who looked about the same age as her little brother Jacob) and decided that she should introduce herself.
"Hi, I'm Jenna." The brunette told the girl with a smile as she stuck out her right hand towards the younger girl. "And you are?" The sixteen year old questioned still holding out her hand. Jenna didn't want to make the encounter seem awkward but she didn't really want to be rejected for her greeting either. tagged: Amanda outfit: here word count: 193

Amanda clapped when the older girl finished her song. She was really awesome at playing her guitar. Amy wondered for how long she had been playing. "You're really amazing!"
Amanda heard the girl start to talk. Her name was Jenna and her dorm was right beside Amy and Lily's. "Hello Jenna! My name is Amanda and I came here a few weeks ago. Are you in my house?" she asked the sixteen year old as she twirled a strand of brown curls around her finger.
Amanda straightened her skirt as she asked Jenna if she could play her clarinet. She hadn't practiced in a month and her mother might get upset with her if she didn't.

Hearing the younger girl clap after she had finished playing gave Jenna a warm feeling within her. She very rarely played to others as she preferred to play alone but having someone listen to her actually helped Jen to feel more confident. Sometimes she lacked confidence to do things. Being at home didn't help her confidence either as she preferred to be with her friends; especially Ana and Kabriel as they helped the sixteen year old come out of her shell. As she pondered where her friends were, "You're really amazing!" was announced by the younger girl. "Uh thanks, I guess." the sixteen year old replied, unsure of the compliment.
The brunette had been told before by a lot of people that she was talented and amazing but usually brushed off the comments as her ego wasn't big so didn't want to be seen as big-headed. Her lack of self-confidence was always the answer to her having a small ego.
Realising that the younger girl wasn't going to go for the handshake, Jenna pulled her hand away and started playing with the sleeve of her stripy blue jumper. Jenna was startled as the younger girl replied to Jen's greeting. Hello Jenna! My name is Amanda and I came here a few weeks ago. Are you in my house?" The way that the younger girl responded to her greeting reminded the brunette of her best friend Kabriel. Unsure of how to answer the question Amanda had tacked on to the end of her reply, Jenna tried to figure out an answer. "I'm not actually sure what house you're in, so the honest answer is, I don't know." Jenna told the younger girl, and then continued, "I'm in Cossu though, mostly because of my musical talent."
If the sixteen year old had not of ended up in Cossu, she would probably have never met her bff Ana or Kabriel for that matter either. Snapping out of her thoughts, the brunette heard Amanda ask if she could play her clarinet. "Yeah sure. I've always loved the sound of the clarinet but chose the saxophone instead." Jenna replied with her signature smile planted on her average-sized pink lips. tagged: Amanda outfit: here word count: 364

"I'm in Cossu also!" Amy exclaimed to the older girl. She unpacked her clarinet and sat oncthe stage. "My older sister played saxophone" she said to Jennna as a tear rolled down her cheek. She quickly wiped it off with her hand.
Amy's sister Evelynne was a Cossu when she had attended Beauxbatons. She was a wonderful sister and role model to Amy when she was alive. She had died a few years ago during a quidditch incident. Now Amanda had an older brother named Charlie and a younger sister named Emiliya.
Amy placed to reed on her mouth and started to play some songs by memory. Afer a few minutes of doing this, she set the instrument on her lap and smiled at Jenna.

Picking up her guitar from the edge of the stage, Jenna immediately placed the instrument back into it's case and sat back down on the seat she had made herself comfy in. It had somehow become less comfy in the 30 seconds that the brunette had been up for. Trying to make herself comfy again, Jen heard the younger girl exclaim that she was in Cossu too. It seemed like most of Jenna's friends were Cossus but the sixteen year old didn't really mind as she preferred to be with like minded people.
The next thing Jen saw was the younger girl sitting on the edge of the stage with her clarinet in hand. Jenna listened intently as the younger girl explained that her older sister had played the saxophone. The brunette noticed the tear come from Amanda's eyes which triggered the sixteen year old's maternal instinct. Just as Jenna was about to comfort the young girl, the twelve year old started playing some songs from memory. Jenna listened to Amanda until the younger girl had finished and smiled at the sixteen year old.
"That was really good. When did you learn to play like that?" Jenna complimented the younger girl. I couldn't ever play without music when i'm playing my sax. I'm perfectly fine when i play my guitar or the piano" Jenna continued as she pointed at her guitar. Leaping up on to the edge of the auditorium stage, Jenna decided that she was going to let her maternal side take over. "What were you just crying about?" The sixteen year old asked Amanda sweetly, opening her arms to see if the younger girl would want a hug."

"That was really good. When did you learn to play like that?" the sixteen year old had asked. Amanda replied saying that she had learned to play clarinet five years ago when she was seven.
"What were you just crying about?" Jenna had asked in her comforting sweet voice as she reached obviously offering Amanda a hug. Amanda accepted it and then told her about Eve.
"Three years ago, in Detaillant, three idiots had been flying around on brooms and cursing random people. They got my sister Eve" Amy said as she wiped away another tear. "She would be fifteen now. She was a cossu so perhaps you know her? Was she in your year?" Amy asked.
