Amanda sat on the armchair in the common room boredly. Her dorm mate seemed to be nowhere and Amy now had next to nothing to do on that Saturday afternoon. She decided to practice her clarinet in the auditorium. Maybe another student would be there also.
Amy started digging around in her trunk and found her clarinet and music player beside all of her many textbooks. She straightened out her skirt and made her way downstairs.
When she walked in, no one was there. Amy unpacked her clarinet and started playing it on the stage. When she finished, she got out her music player and began to sing. Amy loved to sing.

SHE WAS SO SMALL What was Lis like without curiosity? Without it, she was just another girl in the world. After attending Charms class, she skipped back to the Cossu dormitory. She checked her schedule when she got back to her room. Awesome! She was finished with classes for the day. She grabbed her fairytale book from underneath her pillow and began reading. This was a rather unusual position to find Lis in. She was actually reading. She rarely read! It's not that she couldn't understand it. She just didn't have the patience. However, she did love a good fairy tale.
Once she finished the tale of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, she sat up. What was she to do now? Maybe she could start exploring the school some more. She hopped up from her bed and left the room. She flew down the steps and exited the common room. When she got out, she began to slow down. If she was going to wander around the school, she should be walking slowly so she wouldn't get lost. She walked around the school without a goal in mind. Eventually, she found herself treading on unfamiliar grounds. In front of her were two large doors. She opened one of them and peeked in.
It looked like this was a room where people performed in. She wandered around and found a room backstage. She saw instruments and papers and props. It was a room for performing! She was about to leave when she heard a door slam. Lis couldn't explain why she hid. There was just a thrill on an adventure and not wanting to be found. She ran back into the room and peered out of the door. A girl came onto the stage. She was playing the clarinet. It sounded beautiful. When she was done, the girl began singing. The girl was done singing and that signaled her to come out of hiding. "Hi, I'm Lis Edevane. Sorry if I'm intruding," she apologized. BUT SHE WAS LIKE THE LARK template by eliza @ shadowplay

Amanda was startled to hear the voice of a girl her age. She looked passed her and noticed it was a Cossu girl who was about her age. Amy remembered meeting the girl before now.
She blushed. She never performed in front of anyone other than her dorm mate Lily. Amy smiled at the girl.
"Hello, Lis!" she said cheerfully. She hoped the girl's name had been Lis. It was so extremely embarrassing when Amy got people's names mixed up. She smiled as she waited for a reply from the girl.

SHE WAS SO SMALL The music that the girl played still rang in her ears. It was beautiful. In her opinion, it far more beautiful than the plinking of the piano keys. Her sister could never play this well. She took another look at the girl. She looked vaguely familiar. She noticed that the girl was a Cossu too.
She watched as the girl blushed. She remembered now! She met this girl in the Cossu Common Room before. She felt a little dumb now when she realized that she has now introduced herself twice. This girl's name was Amanda? That's what Lis believed she was named.
In an effort to make conversation, she spoke up. "I'm glad you remember me. Your name is Amanda, right? she asked. "Your playing was really beautiful. I'm sure you're used to compliments now," she said cheerfully. She gave the girl a bright smile. BUT SHE WAS LIKE THE LARK template by eliza @ shadowplay

"I'm glad you remember me. Your name is Amanda, right?" Lis had asked Amanda. She smiled and nodded at Lis. "Your playing was really beautiful. I'm sure you're used to compliments now" Lis had then added.
That made Amanda blush even more than she already had been. "Actuallly I don't often play in front of people" Amy replied truthfully.
Amanda packed up her clarinet and exitted the stage making sure not to step on any of the chords, like the time she met her room mate Lily.
