Lily couldn't help herself laugh. She had got MotM on Beauxbatons, even though she only arrived a month ago. Lily got her bag bag and ran to the gardens, her favourite place to be when not studying.
Lily sat down on one of the ten benches, and took out her newly bought wand from her bag. She wanted to practice the two spells had had learned in Defence Against the Dark Arts.
"Lumos" Lily muttered, and smirked when she got a light from the tip of her wand. "Nox" Lily said, making the beam disappear.

VV tucked her long hair behind her ears, straight copper brows furrowing with concentration as she dug her fingers deep in the dirt. She’d been here all day, the time floating past without her knowledge - her investigations of the flora completely absorbing her attentions. VV hadn’t even unpacked, her case firmly under the corner bed in one of the Dorm rooms, untouched. This , she only knew as she’d watched bemusedly from the door as her luggage was put in the room for her, before turning on her heel and making her way straight to the Gardens.
The light was fading fast, the scent of wet earth filling her nostrils as she drew the plant ever closer to her face to examine in the dusk. She glanced up, cuffing her hair from her face and absently smearing dirt across her cheek. Yes, it was definitely more evening than anything now. VV grimaced at the unsavoury thought of having to leave the garden behind so soon, but wiped her hands off on the drew damp grass that soaked the knees of her loose jeans. Much to the chagrin of her Grandfather, neither VV or her mother were particularly struck with appearances. She adored her Grandfather, but he had never made any secret of the distaste he felt toward her androgynous dress sense, or her love of heavy kohl & vivid red lipstick. Admittedly lady-like was not her in repertoire. VV grinned as she acknowledged this, not particularly fussed - because she was happy in herself. And despite missing her family, the simple fact that Beauxbatons had a Garden and an actual Herbology Class was enough to convince her she could endure anything to be here.
Standing, she dusted off her slender hands again, throwing a cautious glance about her. She could have sworn she’d caught a glimmer in the dimming light. Couldn’t hurt to check it out…although as her Grandfather did like to repeat, curiosity did[/] kill the cat. VV walked around the bush and instantly saw the source of the light that had been there - a girl with the most brilliant blonde hair she’d ever seen. ”Hey…whatcha doing?” She asked brightly, intrigued.
//sorry for the MASSIVE delay on my reply! I will get better!
