In one she would dance with a man who she didn’t recognize, in the middle of a strange forest while being surrounded by a ring of fire. It was in the middle of the night and the only thing she could hear were the birds chirping all around them, no one talking, no music. She kept spinning around and around, knowing the man was head over heels for her, but did she feel anything for him? She wasn’t sure. No, she did want him, but there was no love, and as soon as she started feeling bad about it and started spinning more slowly, she suddenly noticed how she wasn’t inside the fire ring anymore, but was right outside of it, looking at the man still dancing, but with someone else. This someone else was completely in fire, but it didn’t seem to hurt the person at all, but rather he was comfortable that way. The flames didn’t bother the man either. She was feeling extremely anxious while watching them dance and was worried for the man’s safety who seemed to be enjoying himself as he didn’t realize that he was in danger and was being played. Suddenly the person in fire turned to look at her though which why she stared horrified for a moment before quickly turning around and starting to run as fast as she just could through the forest. She had to run for her life. She didn’t know why exactly, but he could feel that she was being chased after. If the person caught up with her… she would change.
But the person caught up with her. The person grabbed her hand, yanked it, so that she was forced to turn around and face this person who was still in flames, but… had her face. She was her.
That’s when she woke up. Her eyes flashed open and for a moment she just stared at the ceiling, quite puzzled by the dream still and for a moment not being sure what was real and what wasn’t. After blinking her eyes for a moment and rubbing them a bit she rose to sit and let out a sigh, noticing that she was the only one in the room. Ugh, she hated freaky dreams that she couldn’t quite understand. What did the dream mean? If she was a normal human, not a vampire, not a demon, but a normal human being she would be sweaty all over, that was for sure. That dream had really freaked her out. For a moment she closed her eyes and rubbed her forehead, pressing her finger tips against her skin quite hard, so that her nails dug inside her flesh before letting out a slight groan of frustration and finally getting up; she definitely couldn’t sleep anymore.
The young succubus walked over to her dressing table before looking at her reflection from the mirror and narrowing her eyes a bit and making sure that she wasn’t in fire or anything. She made her hair into a bun, slipped out of her tank top & short pajamas before changing into a navy colored sailor dress. She added some make-up and jewelries, and hang her sunglasses from the front of her dress (hey, you never knew if she would stay outside enough long that the sun would rise too) before heading out of the dorms and the Sournois common room; she needed some fresh air as well as a long walk right now.
For the longest time she wandered, not having any particular destination, but she walked so slowly so that she could clear her thoughts, and as she walked she kept toying with her necklace rather nervously. This dream she saw… it really bothered her, because it was a bit different from her usual ones. Usually she either saw dreams that reminded her from her past, memories, or then they were absolutely absurd and unreal like zombies attacking chasing her and her closest ones down. And although now she had seen a stranger dancing with her as well as well as someone being covered by flames, well, that someone had been her and that gave her a strange feeling that she couldn’t explain. Did the dream have some kind of feeling?
She bit her lower lip gently, not drawing any blood from it, before she raised her head, because without realizing it she had just kept staring down at the ground most of the time, and she now noticed that she had reached the celestial peak. The woods surrounded by the meadow and all the flowers were still asleep, but she still loved the view. She walked over to the edge and with a smile on her face watched the now quite silent ocean as a slight breeze adored her skin and hair gently. Was there a more lovely view than this? Ah, there just might be. Without thinking twice the vampire lied down on the grass, letting her legs hang over the edge, and now she looked at the million bright stars that roofed the sky. Yes, this just might be a tad bit lovelier view. She had always loved the stars and the moon, more than anything else really which why this is what she preferred to watch. At least until the sun would finally rise. | [atrb=width,140]words ,895 words tagged ,open to anyone and everyone! notes ,she's wearing this! | [cs=2] |

Rachele could not stay in her room. For the past three hours, she had been laying motionlessly in her bed hoping that perhaps she could turn her mind off for just a few moments. Unfortunately, it seemed as though her thoughts had decided to go into overdrive. It was incredibly frustrating especially when she could hear the sound of others sleeping. Though her needs were not exactly the same, she still needed time to get herself refreshed. Tonight didn't seem as thought it was going to be one of those nights, however. Eventually, she could not take it anymore. With a quick push, she was off the bed and grabbing clothes from her trunk.
It didn't take too long for her to pull them on and grab her wand quickly from the stand. She was just about to leave, when one of her necklaces caught her eye. It was one that she had kept hold of ever since she was little. It was a miracle that she had managed to get away with it since her grandmother had taken most of her jewelry away. Pretty much everything she owned now had come into her possession more recently. A few pieces from her parents were left, and there was this. It was exceedingly special to her, so she was glad that it had not been found and taken. Carefully, she slipped it around her neck and left.
At first, she was unsure of where to go. She considered going up to the towers which had been her go to spot of late, but she didn't feel like actually being in or on the castle tonight. What she both needed and wanted was open space to clear her mind. Of course, it was later, so she didn't really have hope of finding anyone to talk with, but at the very least perhaps she could calm her mind down enough to find some form of rejuvenation before she had to 'get up.' Swiftly she made her way out of the castle and stopped for a moment just beyond the entrance to take a quick look around.
It was definitely a contrast to the day when students were almost always out on the grounds. Now, everything stood fairly silent. After a moment of thinking, Rachele decided to head to Celestial Peak. It was always a good place to clear one's mind. The sound of the water below added to the other smells, views, and sounds of the area always had a calming effect on her. Without another moment of hesitation, she moved quickly over the grounds.
In no time, she found herself looking at the familiar sight of the meadow and the peak. For a moment, she simply stood looking. Her mind started to conjure up images of seeing Mathew at a picnic. Then it started to drift into other areas that she had come to get away from. Immediately she shook her head and started walking towards the edge. That was when she felt the presence of another person. Her muscles tensed as she got closer, but she didn't back down. Soon enough, she made out a girl with her feet over the edge laying back on the ground. She moved a little closer and cleared her throat. "Mind if I join you?"
Notes: Woooo response...not the best but didn't think I should glomp her on the ground. haha

The boy sighed as he stared at the mirror in the bathroom of the boys dorm. His brow furrowed as he blinked, displaying eyes that were mismatched: one was hazel while the other was a pale shade of blue. Both eyes glanced down as he looked at the contact lens he was holding on one finger, unsure as to whether it was necessary to put it in or not. It wasn't daytime, and for some reason his blue eye was abnormally sensitive to any kind of light, and if he was going out and it was dark... well, it didn't especially seem to be needed. Why he was awake right now was another question to ponder too, though as far as he could remember he had a terrible case of insomnia and rarely ever could sleep for more than three hours per night. Though sometimes he tried to make up for that during the day but with limited success too. Another heartfelt sigh escaped him again as he turned away from the mirror and leaned against the sink, resting both hands on the basin behind him. The room was dark, as was his adjoining dorm room, though thanks to his unusually functioning eye, he could see slightly better in the darkness; a tiny bit better than the average human at least.
Turning slightly, he picked up the small case that was sitting at the edge of the sink and replaced the single contact lens before quickly moving to his dorm. Santeri tossed the case onto his bed before immediately moving to seize his leather jacket from where it was hanging on the chair that was sitting next to the desk. He was thinking instead of remaining restless in his dorm room with the window ajar - the only fresh air he'd be getting here, that a walk seemed to be in order. Where to though? It wasn't as if he was going to be happening across Niklas again tonight, which did seem to be becoming a more frequent occurrence, so it seemed like an interesting thought that he should go somewhere he hadn't been before. He decided to think upon that along the way, he decided as he lithely walked out of his dorm and the Rouerie common room.
It was only when he got outside and he was putting on his jacket that he realized that he forgot to comb his hair and do whatever other routines he always had before leaving to go anywhere. Oh well, it was unlikely he'd come across anyone he knew on his travels anyway, and if he came across someone he didn't know... well, he doubted he'd ever see them again anyway enough for it to even matter. Though first impressions did usually count. After trying to forget things that he had already forgotten to do, he started walking through the grounds. It was still pitch black, and not many noises greeted him as he proceeded on wards. There was a nice breeze though; perhaps it would help him get to sleep later, he hoped. Soon, before long, as he passed through the courtyard and was aimlessly walking without a destination in mind, he finally realized that he was at Celestial Peak. Santeri had been interested in visiting some place within the grounds he hadn't been before, but he wasn't aware that his feet had led him here until he was actually standing before it.
Walking through the cluster of trees blocking the place was probably the most annoying part of all though, but he managed to get through almost in one piece, which was demonstrated by the twigs he ended up trying to pull out of his dark curls. From there, he could see the long stretch of meadow and then the edge of the cliff that made up Celestial Peak as a whole. The one other thing he noticed that was probably not always there was the two girls. One of which appeared to be dangling off the side - he wasn't quite sure if it was intentional or not - and the other was almost standing over her. From this distance he couldn't really tell who they were, since it was pretty dark as well, so he decided to tentatively move closer. He blinked at them and slowly came to a standstill when he was within speaking distance of them, finally seeing them up close for the first time. The one on the ground... and then the one standing up... now he couldn't help but grin. "Nyu Ri," he said simply, addressing one of them before glancing at the other. "And you must be... Rachele, right? If memory serves..." How could he really forgot, it was only a little while after all, at least in the grand scheme of things. "I didn't actually think anyone would be up here this late, though I suppose being vampires... meeting you two up here seems like less of a coincidence..." He tilted his head slightly, hoping he wasn't interrupting anything.

No one threatening, she was sure, because she hadn’t been attacked yet nor was the other person trying to sneak upon her. Her scent wasn’t really familiar to her, so she couldn’t be sure who it was except that she was quite sure the person was a student at Beauxbatons and indeed a female. This person was still a bit further away and hadn’t Nyu Ri being there just yet. She still didn’t move, but just stayed where she ways, laying there and her legs still hanging over the edge. For a normal person that would be dangerous, but she was a vampire and not a too young one either. She wouldn’t die even if she accidentally fell down from there. Not that she would unless someone stronger than her forcefully pushed her. Her reflexes were just too good for her to just accidentally fall from up there.
Finally she sensed the other female tense up a bit which meant that she had realized she wasn’t alone. Nyu Ri stayed relaxed, not moving at all as she wanted to show that she wasn’t going to any harm. She wasn’t dangerous. She had never been one to pick fights or anything like that anyway, except… well, back when she had found out that her mother had been murdered. Then she had gone a bit insane for a bit and went on a killing spree, but now she was all good. She had dealt with it. No one could really blame her for what she did, mostly because they no one even knew (except Santeri), but even if people did know they shouldn’t blame her. They should stand by her. And that’s what they would do. She believed that. She hadn’t done anything that wrong in her opinion. Nyu Ri had needed her revenge back then after all.
“Mind if I join you?”
She finally heard the other person say which why she slowly rose to sit, smiled kindly at the newcomer and nodded, “Of course, please do. I’d love to have some company.” Somehow this girl seemed familiar to her. Something about her… But she couldn’t quite figure out what. Maybe she had just seen her around a few times and therefore she thought that she knew her somehow, although usually she could tell quite well whether she had met the person before or not. Oh well, it would come to her sooner or later if she really did know her from somewhere else. “I’m Nyu Ri, nice to meet you.” Politely she introduced herself and offered her hand too for the other person to shake, because she did like to have some manners. They were important to her, actually. At times people found her being too goody-two-shoes, although… she wasn’t that much of a good person in the end. Not in her opinion anyway. Hey, but being polite was important! She hated the idea of people disliking her just because she had been rude. She wanted to make sure to give a good first impression of herself.
Her thoughts were interrupted once again when she heard another steps approach them, her eyes narrowing and she turned to look towards the direction of the person with whom she actually was familiar with; Santeri Hekkinen. A smirk formed upon her lips now as she watched him walk towards them and finally say her name to which she simply replied, “Santeri” before watching him turn to look at the other female and call her Rachele. She became thoughtful, wondering where she had heard that name before, but couldn’t quite figure it out. She looked familiar, but she couldn’t quite know from where and now she knew her name too, but… why didn’t it really ring any bells? Only slightly so.
“Yeah, I didn’t think anyone would come over here either, but seems we were both wrong. And it’s all good! I never mind good company.” Nyu Ri smiled sweetly at both of them, “What brings you two here?” She first asked before turning to look at Rachele. “And so… it’s Rachele? Tell me, have we met before?” She looked at her curiously, still trying to find the right place and time when they could have met. Not in class, at least. When the girl sat up and welcomed her company, a smile immediately broke out on Rachele's face. She'd been a little nervous just walking up to someone, but that was her nature. Though she was friendly, she was also quite shy at first meetings. "Great," she said with a bright smile feeling instantly more relaxed than she had been before. "I'm glad you said yes, or that would have been a little awkward." Now that she had been welcomed, she was apparently feeling a little more open with her words as she had not intended to say that though it was the truth. At least she hadn't started to ramble off into oblivion like she normally did. So far this night was turning out even better than she had hoped for.
As she settled herself down, Rachele took a better look at the girl and immediately felt a flash of recognition. There was no way it could be her though, right? That was just too much of a coincidence. She was about ready to shake it off as her mind playing tricks on her, but then the girl introduced herself. Nyu Ri. The name hung in the air, and Rachele had to hold herself back from jumping up and down in excitement right then. It was Nyu Ri. It was hard to believe that after all these years she had run into her again. What were the odds that would happen, especially on the night she was wearing the necklace that she'd been given by Nyu Ri? It was all so crazy, but it was crazy in a good way. Nyu Ri had of course not aged at all, but Rachele had done some growing. She had to wonder if she would even recognize her.
It had been many years ago back when Rachele had been a young child. She and her family had been in Ireland for one of her father's many business trips. While she was there, she had lived near a huge lake where all the kids would have swimming contests of sorts. One day, she had been dared to swim out to a certain point on the lake. Even then, Rachel had not liked to back down from challenges. She had started out, but then she could not make it and had almost drowned. Even now she was a little unsure how it all happened, but the next thing she knew, she was looking up at Nyu Ri from the ground. She owed her life to her, and she had missed her when she floated out of her life. Given that the time they had together was not long, but there was definitely a bond formed between someone who saved your life and yourself. The only reminded she had was the one she now wore on her neck.
Just as she was about to introduce herself and bring up the blast from the past, another figure came up. Again, Rachele's muscles tightened, but she felt no threat especially after she saw who it was that had come out. It had been some time since she had seen him, so her face lit up instantly. "Santeri," she said brightly. "Yes, that's right. It has been quite a while in mortal terms hasn't it?" she asked pleasantly. For them it was just a blip on the radar, but she had still noticed the time. Then again, that might have been because she was still young in vampire terms. With a bright smile she echoed Nu Ri's sentiment. "Come on and make yourself comfortable," she said. "I can conjure a pillow or two if you want them."
Nyu Ri's question made Rachele a little nervous about whether or not she would remember that day so long ago. "Yes, we have," she answered a little more quietly than before. "You saved me once." Slowly and carefully, Rachele reached up to her neck and unfastened the necklace and held it out to Nyu Ri. "You gave me this." The young vampire hoped that she would remember. If not, then she was sure that they could still be friends, but she would feel a little silly for holding on so tightly to that memory for so long. As she waited to see what Nyu Ri's reaction would be to the necklace she went ahead and answered the other question she had posed. "I got rather restless in my room and thought that coming out here might be good for some peace."
Note: Ah, sorry this took a little while.

I'm still alive but I'm barely breathing Just prayin' to a god that I don't believe in - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Santeri couldn't help but grin as the two girls said his name after he made his appearence, even Rachele had remembered him, though the last meeting between them had been years before - though it felt like days considering how many countless millenia had passed in his life, that was pretty much his curse, no matter how many days go by it would simply feel like days or hours to him. Time certainly passed by very slowly, he didn't know how he managed to keep his sanity for so long because of it. But at least that meant that he could recall things that happened hundred's of years ago just as if it had happened yesterday, that was something worthwhile at least. He then turned to Rachele, a thoughtful look on his face as he was trying to think up how to answer her. It was a tricky question, though to others it would have been plainly simple. "You could say that. You certainly look no worse for wear as far as the years go. How is vampire life treating you?" He was vastly curious about this, as the first time he met her she was only a newly born vampire, and he knew that after being with Niklas for so long that the life of a vampire was pretty hard, especially if you fought against the natural instincts that came with the change.
With one foot he kicked the grass a little before sliding to sit down, finishing by crossing his legs and leaning back by resting his upper body on his arms which were positioned behind him. It was a nice night, would have been a shame not to relax when the weather and company were like this. He lowered his head from where he was randomly staring at the sky back down to the two girls again. "Boredom, generally," he replied lazily, smirking slightly at the only excuse he could give them for showing up someplace so late at night. "Always better to go out at night when there's less people around, that's not to say that too many people is a bad thing, sometimes just nicer this way." He finished with his explanation then fell backwards onto the grass. The two girls had started talking amoungst themselves, possibly continuing from where they had left off before he imposed. It seemed, from what he could tell, that they had both met each other a long time ago as well, longer than he had even known them for that matter, which he all found rather fascinating.
Santeri pushed himself into a sitting position, still cross legged, and watched as Rachele unclasped something from around her neck and passed it to Nyu Ri. "Hmm. That's a very pretty necklace," he admired as he examined it from where he was sitting, not to far from where Nyu Ri was. Now was when he really felt as if he was a third wheel. Nyu Ri saved Rachele? And they were only introducing themselves now? Clearly at the very least Nyu Ri didn't remember the other one, and yet here he was... a first row seat when it came to viewing the action. "Well, it seems like you two have history," he stated, clearly such an obvious statement indeed. He tilted his head and looked at Rachele. When was it that she saved you, if you don't mind me asking? If you tell me to go, of course I wouldn't mind that either. But still..." He turned his curious look back over to Nyu Ri again, bright blue and hazel eyes gazing intently at her. Well at the very least, if nothing else, he would have been less interested at anything if he had stayed indoors, and he wouldn't have come across these two and witnessed such a touching reunion. He raised a hand to comb it through his dark locks, suddenly very aware of how messy he looked again, compared to the two girls. This was what happened when he didn't look his best all day and night, he supposed. And with that, he flopped back onto his back, gazing up at the black sky again and what little stars there were this night, surprisingly little, he had to subconsciously admit to himself, although the almost full moon in the sky made up for the lack of light surrounding them.
