 She tripped. Claire Charrier, of ALL people tripped. She fell down the stairs. And of course, that meant she was lost in the catacombs. Claire straightened her beanie and looked at her scraped knee. Her knee was bleeding fervently, and to top it all off, she was lost.
The catacombs twisted and turned, lined with graves and bones. Tears streamed down her innocent face as she trailed through the halls of the fallen. Her heart pounded at a quick rate. Claire sat near a grave for a former teacher and pulled out her knapsack. She found a water bottle, a chapter book, and some crackers. Feeling lucky, Claire sipped the purified water and nearly choked in the process.
Claire anxiously waited for someone to come to her aid. The catacombs were a dank, scary, underground graveyard connected to Beauxbatons. She pulled back her golden hair and released. The pain in her knee grew and it stopped bleeding. However, it was severely bruised. The intuitive girl dribbled water on to her knee and waited. |

Amanda was so into the book she was reading. She was,currently reading a muggle book called Harry Potter. In the months she had been a student at Beauxbatons, the twelve year old Cossu girl had learned her way to the library from her dorm.
After a few minutes of walking, she noticed it getting darker and her. She only noticed this because it was getting difficult to read her book. She had had to use "Lumos" in order to read the book. She then tripped unexpectedly.
She looked around her. She appeared to be in a dark, cold, and damp room with a skeleton in a corner. In the other corner, was Claire. Claire was Amanda's rouerian friend.

Lily crawled down under her invisibility cloak to the dungeons, down to the catacombs. Many people were to scared to go down here, but not Lily. She was feeling daring tonight.
Lily walked on a bit more, passing skeletons and tombs. When Lily got to the end of the corridor, she could hear sobbing. Lily frowned, wondering who it could be. Lily took a right turn, and then saw a crying girl with a cut on her knee. Lily bent in closer, and it was Claire! Lily didn't want to make a sudden appearance, so she went out of sight for a minute and took off her cloak. Lily ran towards Claire, not caring how much noise she was making.
"Its ok Claire, I will help you."Lily whispered softly. She dug into her bag and took out a water bottle, and poured water on the bleeding cut. Lily then bandaged it up. "How did you get down here?" Lily asked.

Amy saw Lily come in and go over to a girl who Amy hadn't noticed before now. Amy got out of the dirt and other gross stuff down here.
When she looked closely, she recognized the girl. It was Claire! Claire was a good friend of Amanda's and of Lily also.
"I'm so sorry!" Amy cried. She hadn't notîced that there was a person in the corner.

Lily got Claire to wrap her arms around Lily's shoulders. Claire appeared unable to speak, so Lily decided to pretend she never asked the question. Lily turned to Amanda, this is who she needed when Lily was alone.
"Amanda, what do we do?! We could go to the school Nurse, but what can we tell her? We can't tell her that Claire got lost in the catacombs and I was happening to go on a midnight walk and found her!" Lily staggered slightly from Claire's weight.
Lily didn't know what to do, her mind was blank and her head was swirling in worry. If only Lily calmed down and think, maybe it would help her think of a plan to get Claire better.

Amanda had an idea. She grabbed her invisibility cloak and put in on Claire. The three girls were going to sneak up to their dorm in Cossu.
She instructed her friend to hover between Lily and Amy. They reached the dorm in only a few minutes.
Amy and Lily set Claire down on the pink cushions that were placed on Amy's pink and purple bed. Amy reached into her trunk and got out a first aid kit.

As Amanda got out her First Aid Kit, Lily checked Claire's leg. It looked in a rather awkward angle, so Lily got out her wand from her pocket. Lily said"Reparo!" and it went back into place. Lily turned to Amanda.
"Amanda, we will have to take her to the Nurse. We aren't nurses, and what if Claire's condition gets worse! But what can we say..." Lily thought for a moment. She didn't want the nurse to ask questions or be wondering what was going on.
Lily sat down on the edge of her bed. Then it hit her! "Amanda, Claire and I's curfew is 11:00pm as we are of age. Yours is at 10:00pm, right? As it is 10:15pm now, I will tell the nurse that Claire and I were heading back to the castle after studying, and Claire tripped on a tree stump and is hurt. But that would mean that you must stay up here, or the Nurse will suspect something." Lily pulled Claire on her shoulders. "Or you can go under your invisibility cloak and follow me, then watch what is going on" Lily turned to leave the dorm, with Amanda under the cloak.

Claire noticed her friends. She hadn't wanted them to see her like this, or recently, since she had been a wreck lately. "Hi." was all she said when they entered the dank catacombs. Claire's head went numb, and she passed out.
The dark world around her spiraled away. She was whisked into a dreamlike sleep, and knew nothing of her graveyard surroundings. Claire had no clue what had happened for the hour or two she had been unconscious. When she awoke, Claire heard Amanda and Lily talking about lying to the nurse. Instantly, Claire piped up. "No. Don't lie for me. I tripped, and there is no shame in that."
Claire tried to stand but collapsed to the dirty floor quickly. She crawled to Lily and said, "Bring the nurse here." before the world faded to blackness once again. |

Claire fell unconscious just as she said "Bring the nurse here." Lily knew what she must do. She turned to Amanda. "Change of plan, stay here with Claire and keep an eye on her. Do not leave this dorm. I will go down and get the Nurse. I have some kind of idea of what i'm gonna say." Lily turned to leave, then ran as fast as her legs could take her.
Lily stopped for a breather at the Great Hall. She was so worried about Claire. Lily started to run some more, then after a 3 minute trek, Lily had finally made it to the Nurse.
As Lily entered the sick bay, Lily looked around curiously. There was a 10 year old Rourie sleeping peacefully, and a 17 year old Cossu who was half asleep on the edge of the bed. There was no sign of the nurse. Lily decided to wait, and sure enough she came. The nurse had jet black hair tied in a hairnet, with a white nurse uniform and white apron. The nurses lips were pursed, as if in the middle of something. The nurse put her hands to her hips, and looked up at the young Cossu. "Yes, what do you want?" the nurse asked demandingly, she had no time for messing around. Lily suddenly fell awkward, and looked down. She was about to lie to the Nurse. Lily usually found lying quite easy, the answer always came to her. Lily looked up again. She needed to do this for Claire. "Ok, so me and my friend Claire were coming back from Moonstone Bridge after a few hours of studying. We turned to leave and then Claire tripped on a tree stump, and she is really badly hurt. There was a big cut on her leg, but I managed to put water on the cut and then bandage it up from my First Aid kit. Claire also lost conscious when she fell, and I didn't know what to do. I brought her up back to my dormitory where I left her on my bed, and my dorm mate, Amanda, is watching her. I couldn't bring her with me, so could you come with me to my dorm?" Lily blushed at the end of her long tale, but luckily the nurse didn't seem to notice, as she was packing up some medical items. When the nurse was ready, both of them ran down to the dorm.

Amy understood why she couldn't go to the nurse's office with her friend Lily to the nurse's office. This was late curfew week and so every student's curfew was an hour and a half later than usual. It was only a few minutes past her current curfew. Amanda sometimes wished that she was a year older.
Amy made some cocoa and got a chocolate frog for Claire and her. Amy got Olympe Maxime and Cpaire got Merlin. Amy had about six of him.
Amanda heard a knock on the door. She lifted her heels and rose into the air as she hovered over to the door. She opened it. Outside was Lily and the nurse. She came in and had a look at Claire.

The nurse bent down on the unconscious Claire and checked her leg wound. The nurse quickly went into the First Aid kit and got out some sort of cream, and then dug into her pocket for her wand. The nurse laid the wand on the floor, and then unwrapped the bandage Lily had put on the open wound before. The nurse dapped the cream on Claire's leg, then put her wand upon it. Small red sparkles jumped on the wound, and the wound magically started to cure. Amanda and Lily stared in amazement at what was happening, and then when the wound had completely disappeared, the nurse put everything away, and then turned to the two staring girls.
The nurse told them that Claire will be taken to the Sick bay, and that both girls could visit her tomorrow. The nurse also congratulated Lily for her quick thinking and to Amanda for looking after Claire. Both girls grinned.
Lily helped the nurse pick up Claire, and then the nurse put Claire in a bundle in her arms. The nurse then walked out of the dorm.

Amanda watched nervously as the nurse bent down to look at Claire. The nurse had gotten a cream from her kit and dabbed it on Claire's wound. She had used her wand to make red sparkles appear, slowly starting to cure Claire. Amanda and Lily were both staring. The nurse had put everything away and was staring at the two girls.
She was going to have to keep Claire in the Hospital Wing for the night. Lily and Amanda would be able to see her in the morning. She thank the Lily for notifying her, and Amanda for staying with Claire. She advised that they get some rest. Lily had helped nurse lift Claire into a heap in her arms.
Amanda collapsed onto her bed. She didn't know where their roommate Alice was. She wasn't sure if her friend had met Claire before. Perhaps she hadn't. Amanda slid under the covers and fell asleep.
