The courtyard waved in the wind and dawn sun. Claire snuck stealthily out of her dorm room and through the castle. She finally reached the courtyard. Lush plant life hung beautifully above her. She set down her Beauxbatons hat so that the bottom was facing up. She took out her guitar and waited for students to pass.
Claire tuned her guitar quickly and began to play songs by a muggle artist name Taylor Swift. Ever since Claire had gone to live with her grandmother, the muggle culture had been opened to her. She sang in her soprano voice, allowing sound to travel far. "I Knew you were trouble when you walked in..." Her heart raced.
Next, she played a dynamic song she had written recently. Claire calmly played a G7 and continued throughout her song. The plants glistening with dew, Claire finished and thought of what to play next on this calm morning.

It was still quite dark outside, but Klaus decided that it was quite possibly the best time for a brisk stroll around the grounds, especially since barely anyone was even awake yet. Leaving the Sournois common rooms in the dungeons after he quickly clothed and groomed himself, he walked through the hallways, reaching the entrance hall before he knew it. He was actually getting used to the school after all this time, though he usually hung out in the same old spots so visiting new places in the school really was beyond him. Stepping outside, he took a deep breath of air and sighed. This truly was his favourite time of day. The sun hadn't even half come up yet but he could still see everything around him pretty clearly - his faerie eyes didn't help too much when it came to the darkness.
He started walking again but then stopped when what appeared to be a melody reached his ears. Who could that be at this hour... Of course surely he wouldn't be the only person awake, but it was unexpected to hear the sound of music as soon as he stepped outside. Klaus looked around a bit, and then his eyes found the source of the noise: a girl playing guitar at the edge of the courtyard. He was quite unsure as to whether to approach her or not, but then after a moment made his decision. As he slowly walked towards the girl though she seemed to become more familiar until he recognized her as he stood behind her.
"You play the guitar as beautifully as always, Claire," he commented in his usual soft tone of voice. Sadly, he wasn't much good with instruments or anything, probably why she was in Rouerie and he just ended up in Sournois. "I don't suppose I can join you? Just think of me as an audience member," he added, walking around her and giving her a slight smile of encouragement. He didn't usually like being so forward with people, but he'd known Claire for long enough to be less shy around her anyway. (sorry if it sucks )[/blockquote]

She held the chord so she could speak to Klaus. "Why thank you, Klaus. And I suppose you could join, can play an instrument?" Claire put her guitar down. She put her head into her hands and rubbed her blue eyes. They glittered in the early morning sun. Claire pulled out a black hairband and slipped it onto her tiny wrist.
The wind swirled around the Beauxbatons courtyard. It sent chills up Claire's spine as she grabbed her sweater. Her hand reached out and grabbed her hot cocoa. "Drafty weather, huh?" Claire pointed out. She had always been the kind of jumpy, but today she was tired and more serene.
She stared with wide eyes up at the Sournois. Claire was puzzled at his early awakening. The faerie-blooded Klaus had always seemed mysterious to her. But she could be a but mystical as well. Fae folk were entrancing Claire ore and more as she read deeper into her "Care of Magical Creatures" textbook. She hoped to study magizoology.
Claire tucked a lock of golden hair behind her ear. Today she was feeling hopeful. OOC: SOrry it's so short

Klaus watched her pause for a moment and shook his dark head - using the Unseelie fay glamour at his disposal he had changed his hair from blonde to light brown, and was quite happy with the results. "No, but I thought about it for a short while. If I were to play something I'm not sure what I'd want to take up." He continued watching as she put down the guitar and took out a hairband to put around her wrist. He himself moved slightly to put his hands in his coat pockets. He had a habit of fidgeting nervously at times, and removing his hands from the equation usually helped with that.
Then, she quickly turned to grab her sweater, and he was glad he actually came out wearing a coat. He was used to hotter conditions in America, and coming to France... well, it wasn't usually as warm as it said in the brochures, especially in these parts. "It is," he agreed. "For summer at least." He blinked those blue with pink speckled eyes at her before continuing, "So what are you doing up at this hour? Do you normally get up to play before dawn? You seem like you need more sleep." He smiled slightly at her, reassuring her he intended not to offend her with the statement.
He turned slightly and then glanced back at the young girl. "Um! M-Mind if I sit down? I mean, it's okay if you don't, I probably interrupted anyway..." he said, stumbling slightly on his words. Even if they had kind of a close relationship, old habits never die hard, heck he even acted this way with his girlfriend Tinley. He raised a hand to flick a dark lock of hair out of his eyes as he watched Claire to see what she'd say.
