[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true]HOPING ONE DAY YOU'LL MAKE A DREAM LAST but dreams come slow and they go so fast You see her when you close your eyes maybe one day you'll understand why everything you touch surely dies What could make him feel alive again? Perhaps doing the things he loved. Yes, doing those things had made him feel alive and well again and like he could get through this. Friends too without a doubt had meant a lot to him during the past six months that had been extremely difficult for him, perhaps even the most difficult ones in his life so far. Well, his parents’ divorces have been worse, that was for sure. No one knew how difficult those times had been for him, not even those who thought they knew and thought they understood. He had always been great at hiding it whenever he was truly hurt. He could still put up a fake smile and laugh, make jokes, even though inside he would feel like dying. Other than that though… he sucked in acting. Those were the only times he was great at it. Mother’s son in that way, although his mother was great at acting in all the other ways too. She was a magnificent actress. He wished to be like her one day, but rather he would become a musical star. Broadway. No business arrangements or anything to do with his father’s company nor anything to do with magic either. That’s all. A normal young man with a gift to act and with a more incredibly gift to sing. Yes, those were one of the things he loved to do and they had got him partly out of the hole he had fallen during last Halloween. And even after parting ways with Alegra. Through all the painful times.
Even now you could find him in the auditorium, playing piano and singing along while being completely in his own world and ignoring everything else around him. When he was singing or playing music or dancing he wasn’t a vampire or even a student in Beauxbatons; he was just Hyo Joon Nam, an ordinary young man who enjoyed anything that had to do with music. Oh, he wasn’t good at playing every instrument all though he wanted to. So far he was only good at playing piano and guitar. Perhaps next he could learn violin, because after all… he now got all the time in the world. He had no idea what he would do after he had learned all the instruments as well as watched all his friends be… well, in their graves. Except those who were vampires. And with that he actually only meant one person and that was Rachele. He hadn’t really become friends with any other vampires just yet. Calcifer wasn’t really friends with anyone, was he? And he couldn’t really get along with Nyu Ri not to mention Rosalind.
Enough of playing with the piano and enough of singing. It was pretty much the perfect weather outside; sun was shining brightly and warmly, but because of the slight wind it wouldn’t be too hot. There were some clouds on the sky too that would hide the sun behind them for a few seconds at times, so that it wouldn’t get unbearable outside like one would be in a sauna with their clothes on. Definitely he would head outside, but first he would grab something from the kitchen. After reaching the certain painting and tickling the carrot the picture moved away, so he could enter the kitchens. The house-elves barely noticed they had a visitor, because they were all so busy at preparing the Saturday lunch for the whole school, but at least one of them walked over to him asking ‘what would the Master like to have?’ which really was something he was quite used to being asked back at home too; they had maids and even butlers as well as their own cooks and some guards too. “Ah, just some strawberries, thank you. That would make me extremely happy!” He smiled widely to the smaller creature which gladly agreed to get him what he needed and with just a snap of his fingers. “A whole basket? Thank you so much!” And with that he left the kitchens and soon found his way outside as well while carrying a rather old fashioned straw basket with him filled with strawberries.
Finally he had reached his final destination, the lake. It was surprisingly quiet there not only because it was Saturday, but also because of the great weather. He had thought that the place would be filled with groups of students. It would have been a great chance to take a swim too! Maybe later he would do that. He figured the students had maybe gone to the nearby town to shop or/and eat ice cream or maybe they had gone to Rue de Paradis. Well, he was perfectly fine with this though. Too much people would have just given him a headache maybe. …Maybe. Usually he did enjoy being with a larger group though; he was quite social.
Nearby the lake there was this huge rock, on top of which he had always wanted to climb even when he had still been just a human, so he decided to do so today. He had always imagined it being a tad bit difficult to climb up the huge rock, but for his surprise he could get up with ease. Mostly likely that was thanks to his vampirism. “Only miss the sun when it starts to snow, only know you love her when you let her go.” He sang quietly to himself and hummed as he kind of just floated on top of the rock, still holding the basket with his other hand. Ah, he missed listening to muggle music. Couldn’t he go back to home just for a few days? Enjoy normal life. Be like he used to be before all this. But no, he would probably get expelled or something if he just suddenly left without a good enough reason. So he just frowned at the thought before sitting down, letting out a sigh and turning to look up at the sky. It was really warm actually and the sun was caressing his skin while he watched the clouds pass by. Suddenly he started to smirk rather widely before he laid down, grabbed a strawberry from the basket and while taking small bites of it he watched the clouds, thinking how one of them looked like a rabbit while other one looked like a heart. Hey, this was a good way to spend time too! It was quite relaxing. “Flower… Hhmm… Ah, a dragon!” He exclaimed rather loudly all by himself as he tried to think what each cloud looked like and trying to make sure he wouldn’t miss a single one.

Lily was on a mission today. She finally had had enough of her pale, redhead, British skin and it was a lovely day outside and she would get a little bit of color. She wasn't asking for much. She just didn't want to be seen through like a ghost, it was honestly so sad, Lily was pretty sure the ghosts thought that they were kin until they smelled her liveliness. That's how transparent her skin color was right now. Okay, maybe not that extreme, but she is a teenage girl, she is supposed to be dramatic, it's like written in the handbook that girls get when they turn thirteen, everybody knows that. It also teaches you how to lash out at parents, be moody, and cry a lot, among other things. Being a teenager rocks, yeah! Lily sighed, not quite ready to start her plan to get tan (hey it even rhymes). Going outside just took so much effort. Like why go outside to read when she could walk fifteen steps and be in the common room and read? I'll tell you why: to stop being a ghost. Plus, there was the lake outside and that looked really nice right now. Maybe she would go for a swim later.
Lily put her plan to action, throwing off the covers on her bed and heading straight to the bathroom. She brushed her hair, deciding to leave it down because braids never seem to work, the universe is just against her like that. Lily threw her dirty pajamas in the laundry bin and replaced them with a bathing suit, light wash jean shorts and a black band shirt, she was cool, she knew. Lily rummaged through her things, trying to decide what book to start. She should probably be rereading sections of her term work, but when was that ever fun? Plus, it was nice outside and sunny days don't mix well with boring old homework, so The Odyssey it is, not necessarily what people would think of as a fun read, but that's Lily for you. Lily packed a little bag, consisting of a towel, a bag of chips, her book, and her wand (you never know when a monster is waiting to attack), as well as another book just in case she wasn't feeling The Odyssey (I know, when could you not be in the mood to read The Odyssey?).
Lily walked out of the Rouerie Common Room, not finding any of her friends to coerce into going to the lake with her, whatever, she could read and tan by herself. God, when did she become such a girl? Tanning? Seriously? Get yourself together, Lily. She walked along the path to the lake, deciding where she would rest when she heard someone singing, "Only miss the sun when it starts to snow, only know you love her when you let her go." Passenger? That was like, one of her favorites. He was the best. Lily looked up to see someone sitting on a rock, how the hell did they climb up that? She didn't think she'd make it, well, mostly because she hating climbing things, climbing trees and rocks is a no go for Lily. "And you let her go," Lily chimed in quietly with the guy, mostly to herself, it's not as though he could actually hear her, but it was some nice harmony if she said so herself. Going toward the front of the rock so that she could see who it was (she didn't know him) she heard the guy calling out the cloud shapes. Well, maybe she would have some company today, "I rather think that looks like a bunny," she said, "But, then again, I'm quite partial towards rabbits."
notes also, like I'm currently loving your music taste. you have let her go on this thread, then on your personal you have pompeii by bastille and like, I love both those, so yay!

The bed caved in as the girl plopped onto it with her favorite book. The sun beamed brightly through the glass window of the cramped and messy dormitory. It beckoned her to come out to her favorite spot, the Lake, and play. She gave up on reading and grabbed her sack. She filled it with a picnic lunch and a bouncy ball.
Her footsteps clanked quietly as they echoed through the massive corridors. Claire was usually so nonchalant, now she was clanging quickly in the mid-morning rush. The broad doors were pushed open, and Claire stepped outside. Her brain was scattered with school. She decided she needed a break.
The sun beat down on Claire's pale neck. Claire attempted to rid the pain by resting her hand on her neck so the sun wouldn't burn it. But that only hurt her hand. Eventually, she set out her blanket and sat near the shining water.

i think the spotlight always gives you stage fright †WISH THIS ALL WOULD END RIGHT†
†STOP MAKING MY HEAD SPIN† it's over but what if we just pretend
Nova smirked, he really couldn't help it. It wasn't a usual thing where he got full and utter free rein of the body him and Roy both shared, especially when the other one wasn't complaining. Sadly though, this was not one of those days, and Roy was thudding around in what was now Nova's head, trying to give him the biggest headache in the world. "Pipe down in there," Nova drawled, running a black gloved hand through spikey long red hair. "If anything, you'll be in even worse pain when you regain possession of this meat suit. Now then..." Taking his mind off the alchemist, Nova turned back to what he had been doing before he ended up reply to his host. Once again, the loud purring had started up again. "Oh, you're so adorable!" Nova gushed, stroking the cat again before whipping it up so that it ended up cradled in his arms. Both deep purple eyes were sparkling as he bent over to rub his own head against the kitty's own furry skull. "You don't know how ill I feel right now..." Roy grumbled, being the one needing to endure his demon's random display of affection. "Party pooper, Roy," Nova replied, tickling the cat once more on the stomach before gently putting it down on the ground again. "I want one."
That was the last reply Nova had to him before shifting back to Roy again. Gone was the red hair and the purple eyes and back was the dark haired, dark eyed alchemist again. "For the last time, no. I do not like cats." Roy scowled, looking quite perplexed at the conversation he just had. Technically, to the average person he could have been talking to himself with a random off transformation thrown in, but this was quite normal for him. "I'm sure Yuji would agree!" Nova chipped in again, causing Roy to roll his eyes in expiration. "No, he really wouldn't," he muttered back as he started walking. Now then, where was he? Oh right, just outside by the edge of the forest. He almost forgot that after being caught up by one strange event after another, most of which involved walking up and down several fleets of stairs with a cat Nova was determined to keep. Now that the matter was finally settled, he really needed to find some way to relax and take his mind off things.
Minutes later he arrived at the lake. The sun was high in the air, not a cloud in the sky, and not too many people seemed to be around either. Perfect conditions to lounge around and do nothing in. He stood by the water's edge, taking in the scenery, feeling the light breeze against his face. He actually hadn't been here for quite a long time, but he remembered falling in and splashing about a lot with someone else. Such grand times that were most likely never going to happen again. Now he was weighed down by a lot more burdens than he had back then, thus making him a lot more serious. Roy crouched down and scooped up a small handful of water, lifting it up and pouring it over his head, then shook himself like a dog. He could very vividly feel Nova's discomfort as, like a cat, the demon wasn't too fond of water, for quite a few reasons. Roy loved it just fine though. "Much better," he commented as he stood up, his hair still dripping and hanging in his eyes, but still finding comfort and enjoyment from that. "Nothing better than getting wet on a nice, hot day like this."
Did that sound perverted or was that just him? Roy smirked slightly as he turned away from the lake, though the movement only served to face him in the direction of a few other students he hadn't noticed before. Interesting. Very interesting. And as he was bored and with nothing to do, he decided to give approaching them a try. "Hey there," he greeted, smiling at a girl who was lying down on a blanket as he passed and then stopping when he reached the other two students. He looked up at the sky and then stated, "A dog. A chihuahua, most likely. After all, dogs are a mans best friend! Ohohohoho~" He finished off by laughing in an odd sort of way as he puffed his chest out and looked rather smug. "Smooth," Nova said dryly, causing Roy to cut off laughing and finish with a cough. "I don't see wings or a puffy tail anyway..." he then added, trailing off as he squinted his eyes to look up at the sky again. And then without looking away from the blue horizon he asked, "Wait, why are we doing this again?"

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true]HOPING ONE DAY YOU'LL MAKE A DREAM LAST but dreams come slow and they go so fast You see her when you close your eyes maybe one day you'll understand why everything you touch surely dies “I rather think that looks like a bunny,”
“Huh?” Hyo pretty much jumped to sit up when he heard a stranger’s voice somewhere below him, and he took a peek of the female that was standing next to the rock, looking up to the sky as well. That’s when he turned to look back up too, turned his head to left and to right while looking thoughtful before finally nodding a bit, “Yeah, I can see a bunny too, you’re right.” He stared at the cloud quietly for a few seconds before continuing, “But I can see a dragon as well when I turn my head a bit to my right. Notice it?” He then turned to look at the young female who had a long red hair whom he hadn’t met before or at least he couldn’t remember seeing her. There was no way they were in the same year at least. Having a natural red hair was quite rare, so he was sure he would remember her if he had seen her before. So far he had only met Tinley who had red hair. He had always found red heads kind of mysterious and fierce, and boy did he like mysteriousness. But this could also be because in South Korea there really were no people with naturally red hair…
His thoughts got interrupted fast as he heard another voice, this time male, mention how he thought it looked like a dog, a Chihuahua to be exact. “What? Are we looking at the same cloud?!” He didn’t even turn to look down at the guy, but kept staring at the cloud above him, turning his head around again to see if he could make a Chihuahua out of it and then turning to look at the nearby clouds before raising an eyebrow and finally turning to look at the male student whom he actually knew somewhat. He was Roy Mustang, a prefect as well. He had seen him in some parties and such and maybe he had tried to bug him a bit at times, but he still didn’t know him enough well. This should be fun though! A redhead female and Roy as his company? Yup, this should be interesting.
He did notice another student nearby the lake as well, but he didn’t know her. She seemed to be quite young too. Oh well, the weather definitely was nice, so it was no wonder that people would be coming over the lake. “Wait, why are we doing this again?” His thoughts were interrupted by Roy’s question. He pondered for a moment before replying, “For… fun? Hey, it’s nice to be a kid now and then.” He shrugged while still looking at the clouds. “Oh, what about that one?” He asked while pointing one of the clouds, not sure if they would know which one he meant though. “A banana?” He narrowed his eyes and stared at it for awhile before sighing, “Now I’m hungry. Strawberries, anyone?” He asked before putting one in his mouth and then lifting the basket and offering it to the two others by hanging on the edge of the rock. “You know you should climb up here, there’s plenty of room. Plus it’s… nicer to be here! Come on! I can lend a hand if needed.” He smirked a bit, aiming the last sentence more to Lily than to Roy.
