Lilly's hand shot up and she read Professor Smith's fortune. It was the same reading as the one Amy had made. Perhaps she had found an accurate answer. She thought that until Noir attempted.
The reading was much different from Amy's and Lily's. According to Noir, the professor would live for a very long time. Not just above average. Noir had also predicted no stress.
Amy still had a bit of confidence that she had read correctly. She sat back in her chair and waited for a response.

Charlotte waited for Noir to come to her desk, and then Noir sat down. Noir took hold of Charlotte's palm and rubbed it hard. "You will live a long and healthy life. It seems that you have a strong mind. Happiness isn't too far away for you but there will be some obstacles for you to overcome," Noir had said. While Noir sat down back at her table, Charlotte stood up. "Very interesting...Very different answers. Well, I would like to say that all of you got the answers on the right track, but the closest answer was Lily's. Although you all got it on the right track, apparently I am to receive no inner happiness, and I am to apparently have a below average life line. However, these things can change as one can change the future overnight."
Charlotte turned to the board, and rewritten some of the words, as they were starting to rub out. "Ok, I have some more questions which will be your homework.These are the questions:
Q1: What do you think of Palmistry?
Q2: Why do you think that?
Q3: When I predicted your future, what did you get? (are you going to have a wave of happiness, etc)
Q4: What did you think of the prediction I told you?
Q5: What did you think of the lesson today?"
Charlotte written the questions on the board so the students could write it all down. "And finally, please remember to revise the questions you have done in class because it will be in your exams."
Charlotte had not quite finished the lesson yet, but she was very nearly finished. Charlotte had taught the students Palmistry and what to do, and she felt she had done a very good lesson. But there was one more thing she had to do. "Ok, all of you got the Palmistry readings slightly wrong, so I am going to show you how to recognise Palm readings so you shall find Palmistry a bit easier."
OOC: Please do not answer the questions above until the lesson ends. I would appreciate if you hand in your homework on time, but if there is a time that you cannot do your homework, I would like you to tell me and we can arrange another time for you to do the homework.

Amanda was pretty happy wigh her prediction results. Lily was closest, but Amy was very close to her. She had however, beat Noir.
Suddenly Amy felt a paper land on her desk. It was their homework for next class. She looked down at the easy questions.
They al seemed to be about how Amy enjoyed the class. This would be easy, as Amy really liked the class.
Amy looked up at the teacher who seemed to have something to say before class was dismissed.

She listened as the professor told them that their answer was on the right track. She gave a mental shrug. She wasn't cut out for Palmistry anyway. She preferred Crystal-gazing. The Divination method that she was best at was dream interpretation. The visions that came to her were always so vivid and seemed so clear to her. To an outsider, it might have seemed like a load of unfinished pictures but to her mind, they told things that were bound to happen. She rolled her eyes at how happy the two girls looked for beating her. Let that joy last for now. Her competitive side was coming out now. She wasn't going to lose to two little Cossu girls. She was a Beaumont and Sournois! Defeat was a word unheard of for her.
Noir felt a piece of paper on her arm. It was their homework for the day. A small frown fluttered onto her lips. Really, what did she think about her prediction? The professor must've been bloody insane if she wanted her to write about what she really thought about the prediction! Professor Smith must have thought that she was jumping for joy to know that she was going to die soon. She bit her tongue to hold back any comments that might escape her mouth.
She glanced at the clock in the room and noticed that class was going to end soon. She was now dreading it. On one hand, she was curious to see what the professor would say. On the other, she didn't want to know. One terrible prediction was enough for her. She didn't need another one. |

Amanda started to think more about her fortune. According to the teacher, she was gonna be sad soon. That would not be good. Amy didn't get sad very often.
The last thing she had been sad about, and still was, was the time she lost her sister three years ago. We had been riding our brooms that day. Three idiots had been flying aroumd and shooting curses at random people. They got caught before lasting damage was done to Amy. She did brwak her wrist though.
She looked around the room. She and Lily would live about the same amount of time. But not Noir. She would be dying very soon. Amy couldn't help but feel a bit sorry for her.Even though she didn't get along with Lily very well.

Lily smirked, she had the closest answer then the other two girls. Her mother said to never underestimate herself, and today she has proved her point. Lily had no idea about Palmistry and she got the closest to the prediction.
Then, Lily felt a bit of paper fall on her arm. Looking at it, it was there homework for today. It seemed quite simple, as it was homework based on there opinion. Nothing to hard then, she thought, slipping the paper into her newly bought messenger bag.
The Professor told them that they were going to learn a trick on how to know about Palmistry predictions and not get it wrong before the end of the lesson. Lily listened intently, this may be important for her exam.

"Ok, can you all sit at this table so you can see what I am doing," Charlotte said, pointing at the table. She knew that this handy technique would help the young students, especially for an exam. Charlotte waited for the students to move tables, then she joined them at the foot of the table. Charlotte showed the young students her palm. "Firstly, you must rub the palm gently. Not to hard, but not to light either. Then you must look right into the Palm. As you can see, I think it is a bit clearer. If you look there, that is the head line, and this is the life line. The diagrams I gave you should point out some of the planets, like Jupiter, Mars ect." Charlotte looked at the children, that were currently staring at her palm. "Does that make sense?" She added, wanting to make sure that the students understood what she was talking about.
Charlotte stood up and went to the board, the students then returning back to there seats. It was nearing the end of the lesson, and Charlotte was nearly finished. "I just wanted to say that I am available in my office any time of the day, so if you need to speak to me then please go there. I will be happy to help. Also, next lesson we are doing Tessomancy. I would require that you bring your Tea Leaves or i am afraid you cannot take part."
Charlotte faced each student in turn, first Lily, then Amanda, and then Noir. All girls had seemed to be paying attention well, and Charlotte was impressed. Many people she knew did not appreciate
the art of Divination, and Charlotte always wondered why. Charlotte found it to be the most interesting subject ever. She quickly went behind her desk and sat down. "Is there any more questions before we depart each other?" Charlotte asked.

She slipped her worksheet into a folder and packed it in her bag. Noir stood up and moved to the table that the professor indicated. She sat down in the chair and waited as the other girls situated themselves. She watched as the professor began explaining the art of Palmistry. She gave a curt nod when Professor Smith asked them if they understood. So, Tessomancy was what they were studying next.
As if the day just couldn't get any worse. She finds that they have to study Tessomancy. It wasn't her favorite Divination method. The smell of the tea leaves wasn't pleasant to her. It felt bitter to her. It couldn't be helped though. She took out her notebook. Quickly, she wrote a note for herself, reminding that she would bring tea leaves for the next lesson.
Overall, the lesson was informative. It wasn't the best but it was decent. Well, ignoring her prediction. She packed up all her things into her messenger bag. It was the time that she was dreading. It was now the end of class. She had to go and talk to teacher now.

When Lily put her work sheet into her messenger bag, she went over to the table indicated. The Professor told them a handy tip about Palmistry, which Lily thought helpful. She could see the lines a lot clearer that way.
The Professor then told them all that they were going to do Tessomancy, and they needed to bring Tea Leaves. Lily had written that on the corner of her notebook.
Lily quite enjoyed the lesson, and was sad when it was the end of the class. When the Professor asked if there were any more questions, Lily stayed silent. She didn't think there were any more lingering questions she need ask.

Amanda waoted for people to start adking questions about the palmistry. Amanda had none, and neither did Noir or Lily.
Amanda frowned slightly in her head. The lesson had been rather enjoyable. It was enjoyable as well as extrwmely informative. Amy had before today, never understand the predictions that her soater used to make. Now, she didn't understand how It was posible not to inderstand.
Amy packed her bag with all of her items that she had brought to class with her. She exitted the door and headed back to the common room.

Charlotte looked at all of the girls. No questions, that meant the end of class. Charlotte stood up as all the girls started packing up. "Thank you for coming to class! I hope to see you all next week. I want the homework in by tomorrow at 6:00pm, or you will lose some house points. They're quite simple, and it shouldn't take you 5 minutes."
Amanda went to leave the class. "Bye Amanda!" Charlotte called, as Amanda walked back to her common room. The others were still packing up and getting ready for the next class. "I hope you enjoyed class today girls." Charlotte said, looking from girl to girl. She may have been a bit over dramatic about Noir's prediction, but Charlotte does see a bit of danger for the girl.
Charlotte sat back down at the table, and started marking some classwork.
OOC: Noir, yes Charlotte does still want to speak to her. I will make a separate thread soon, so please reply in there. Its nothing bad though! To everyone, please PM me the homework by tomorrow at 4pm. I hope you have also been taking notes about what I have said in this class, as all of this will be involved in your exams.
