What was Amanda's life like with out the arts? Dull, boring, and colorless. That was why Amy was well trained in playing clarinet, guitar, violin, piano, sing, dancing, and acting. She even liked to paint pictures!

Amanda plopped down om the cold hard ground woth her large duffel bag of arts related stuff.Amanda opened the large pink bag and out jumped Amanda's pygmy puff Ashley. Ashley was always boarding "The Amy Express" when Amanda was going places around the school. No matter where it was to, Ashley was always intrigued in tagging along.

Amanda took out her pink guitar and began to play a song her older sister had taught her a few years ago. Amanda wiped away a tear as she thought about her sisternEve. Eve had diednthree years ago. Sometimes, at night, Amanda could hear her final scream. The one she had , ade whencshe died.

<sub>Finally! The lessons were finally over for today! Lily ran back to her dorm and changed from her dreaded sapphire blue robes and beret into a blue and white checkered dress with cute white socks and her hair tied back into a french plait. Lily gently nudged a sleeping Princess, who then woke up and started jumping around and wagging her tail. "You could do with a nice pamper girl," Lily told Princess. Princess, unlike other dogs, loved being washed, groomed and clipped. Lily's mother had shown her how to wash dogs and Lily was getting quite good at it now. To Princess's annoyance, Lily decided to do it tomorrow. She attached Princess's lead to her collar, and quickly put Annie, her pygmy puff, on her shoulder. Lily then went outside to the grounds of Beauxbatons.

She had a run around with Princess and Annie at the gardens, a lovely place to go to on a nice day. She couldn't see anyone outside, even though it was the end of the day. They were all probably having dinner or in there dorms. After half an hour of mostly day dreaming, Princess was getting restless and Annie was hopping on her shoulder, wanting to move on. Lily decided that the lake would be a nice place to go. Maybe she may catch a sight of a lurking animal or two in there.

As she got to her destination, Lily could hear crying. Then, quite out of sight, was Amanda, of whom had a guitar aside and was crying quite loudly. Lily quickly ran over to her, she hated seeing people cry. "Amanda, whats wrong!" Lily asked, putting an arm around her.</sub>

"Amanda, whats wrong?" Amanda had heard a voice say this as she felt a hand come down on her shoulder. Amanda turned around to look at the girl. It was her friend and room mate Lily McG.

"I was just playing a song that reminded me of Eve" she said as she wiped away another tear. "Sometimes at night I can hear her last scream. The one she had made before she died.

Amanda petted her pygmy puff wishing that she could see her sister again. But not pictures. Not in the mirror of Erised. In real life. But Amanda knew that this could never happen. There is no way to bring people back from the dead.

<sub>Amanda looked at Lily tearfully, and was wiping tears away. Lily felt sorry for her, and didn't really have a care that Amanda was staining her dress with tears. "I was just playing a song that reminded me of Eve" Amanda had said, wiping away yet another tear. "Sometimes at night I can hear her last scream. The one she had made before she died." Lily didn't know what to say, sometimes being silent is better then saying words. "Have a chocolate frog, Amanda, they always make you feel better." Lily said, passing Amanda one.

As Amanda patted Ashley, her pygmy puff, Lily cuddled Princess and Annie. She knew exactly what it felt like to have lost a loved one. Three years ago, when Lily was 11, Lily's father, Alistair, loved making potions. He was a great inventor and invented potions, remedies, etc. Alistair was fantastic at potions, but one day it went badly wrong. Lily was with her father in the lab, where her father was making the potion. It was Lily's job to think of a name for the anonymous potion, while her father made the potion. It happened all to fast... the potion fell upon her father, which was deadly, and he was rushed to St. Mungos. He died on the way there... Lily was sad for years to come, until she received her letter to Beauxbatons. She felt better ever since.

Lily hit back on earth when she heard Amanda sniff slightly. "Here," Lily said, passing Amanda a tissue. She hoped Amanda was feeling slightly better now.</sub>

"Have a chocolate frog, Amanda, they always make you feel better." Lily had offered Amanda. She was right. Chocolate frogs did always make Amanda feelbetter. But Amanda wasn't all that hungry today. She had just had pizza for dinner. Amanda told Lily that she wasn't hungry and then petted her pygmy puff who was also crying softly.

When Evelynne died, her pygmy puff did, too. Amortenia had been Ashley's older sister and best friend. Amanda wiped away a tear and sniffed slightly. Lily had heard and passed her a tissue. Amanda accepted it and blew her nose.

"Lily?" she said. "I'm scared and nervous. My palm reading in divination said that I would be very sad soon. I only get sad when very sad stuff happens. My brother Charley is a dragon tamer" Amanda added as she wiped away another tear.

<sub>After handing Amanda a tissue, Lily looked up to the sky. Maybe it was her fault that her father died. When the potion fell on him, Lily didn't know it could be lethal, in fact, Lily's father didn't even tell her it was dangerous. Lily remembered her father screaming and howling in pain, and Lily was terrified. She had called her mother to come and help her, and her mother, with tears falling down her face, rang St.Mungo's. Lily was forced to stay at home while her mother went with her father to St.Mungo's. When her mother came home, she told Lily that her father died on the way to St.Mungo's. Lily was so upset, and was at a loss for years.

"Lily?" Amanda said, bringing Lily back to her senses. "I'm scared and nervous. My palm reading in divination said that I would be very sad soon. I only get sad when very sad stuff happens. My brother Charley is a dragon tamer" Lily patted Amanda's back. "The professor said you will get a bit sad. But it probably means because of all the homework and classes we're getting. It can be overwhelming, and I'm still wondering what my prediction means?" Lily told Amanda. She was going to experience great happiness with a stroke of danger. What does that mean? Would it mean doing something that is what makes her happy, but she must overcome danger to do it? It was quite confusing, but Lily wondered what the prediction meant.

Lily gave Princess another cuddle, she was so loyal and an amazing dog. She also gave Annie a little cuddle, she loved them both so much.</sub>

Amanda felt Lily give her a pat on the back. "The professor said you will get a bit sad. But it probably means because of all the homework and classes we're getting. It can be overwhelming, and I'm still wondering what my prediction means?" Lily had told Amanda.

Amanda felt less nervous, but still nervous. Her brother wasn't exactly the best at magic. When he was in school he was always losing duels. Even against Eve who was three years younger that him. But Lily was probably right. She probably would be sad about getting too much homework.

Amanda took out her book. It was a popular muggle book called The Hunger Games. It was sad at parts, but over all it was a great and interesting book.

Alexis had already finished her towering stack of homework. Or maybe it just seemed like a large stack to her. Alexis wasn't exactly the smartest person alive. Her IQ was 85, so she hated homework of every kind.

By this point Alexis was bored. She had nothing to do whatsoever. She could go for a swim? Yes. That's what she would do. It was a nice day to go swimming, and Beauxbatons had a perfectly good lake. Except it had germs in it. Germs of the mudbloods and blood traitors and half bloods that were infesting this school and contaminating our beautiful magical society.

Alexis got into her swimsuit and braided her long red curls. As she left the Sournois common room, she noticed a maple tree beside the lake. Or was it an oak tree. Alexis wasn't good with that sort of thing. As she approached the tree, she noticed two younger girls sitting under it.

The older appeared only a bit younger than Alexis. The other one appeared to be eleven or twelve. She recognized them. They were two Cossus named Amanda and Lily. But none of that mattered. What DID matter was that they were sitting where Alexis was gonna sit.

Alexis smiled at the girls and looked them in the eye. "I would appreciate if you would move" she said to them a bit rudely. Lexi was never a really nice girl. She looked at them and waited for them to move.

As Amanda wiped away another tear, she heard a voice coming at her. She looked up to se a teenager staring down at her. The girl had curly red hair and cold gray eyes. Amanda had seen her before. But where? Amanda would have to think about that.

The girl was till staring at her and that was making her uncomfortable. Amanda pushed her brown curls out of her eyes and folded her arms. After staring at the older girl, she smiled. The girl actually thought she was going to move! How amusing! Amy wasn't going to leave her comfortable shady spot.

"Actually, I wasn't planning on moving from this spot" she said confidently. "I was here first, and there is a perfectly decent tree over there" Amanda added as she pointed to a maple tree to the left.

At this Lexi's smile faded. She wasn't used to being stood up. This little girl thought she could instruct HER on what do do? Not happening. She may not be all that smart, but she was Alexis Hermione Jeane Janes.

Alexis got out her wand and whispered the charm. She was using a summoning charm. Suddenly the girl's pink guitar flew towards her. She was squealing inside. She hadn't bothered anyone in such a long time! She grabbed the instrument from the air and observed it.

"Is this yours?" She asked the little girl as she held it too high for her to reach. She smiled. This would be a good laugh.

<sub>The girl appeared, and was willing for Amanda and Lily to move so she could sit down. Lily stood up, hands to her hips, she was tolerating this girl less and less. "I don't think so, Alexis Janes. I think you should, I dunno, go away

When Alexis did the summoning charm to steal Amanda's Guitar, Lily roared, and ran right over to Alexis face, wand pointed right at her face. She would not accept anyone stealing treasured possessions, especially her best friends! "Drop the Guitar," she whispered softly. "Or, you shall regret that you ever did stole it."

Lily looked straight into the girls eyes. This girl was probably slightly older then Lily, but Alexis was acting like a 6 year old. Alexis looked arrogant, and maybe a girl that cared about blood lines. Lily was a Pure-Blood, but that didn't matter. Right now, Lily would make sure that this girl would drop this guitar, or she has a lot coming at her. Lily knew spells that Fourth Years had never even heard of, which was why Alexis had lots coming at her if she didn't drop it.</sub>

Kabes ran a hand through her hair as she wandered the grounds. The sun was shining and the day seemed to be just beginning. She wasn't sure how she was planning on spending it, but with a hop, she decided she was going to spend it outdoors. It had been ages since she felt so relaxed as she did then. Her jumped, although somewhat warm, kept her comfortable as she wandered along the grounds. She waved and smiled at those she knew, and beamed at strangers who seemed to shoot her strange glances. She couldn't help but love Beauxbatons sometimes - the keen students, the friendly faces and above all; the magic. There was just something so wonderfully perfect about going to school here, she wondered with a curious pang why her brothers hadn't decided to join her here. Of course, Dustin had come here for a term or two, but then he had transferred to Hogwarts ages ago. Same thing with Remus, he had been considering it but then chose to relocate to Hogwarts. Perhaps it was to escape their parents, she had no idea. But without a doubt in her mind, she missed them, along with the rest of her brothers.

She was wondering along the side of the lake when she spotted three girls, two of which she recognized as fellow Cossu students, Amanda and Lily. Amanda was younger than her, but Lily had recently turned fifteen so they were now the same age. She was about to wave at them from across the lake when she spotted another girl approach them with a sort of... well, confident attitude she had seen before. This girl, however, was a stranger to her. With a curious c*ck of her head, Kabes watched through a narrowed gaze, squinting through the sunlight, to see what exactly was going on. Whatever it was, it didn't look too good. She tucked some hair out of her eyes and behind her ear as she continued to gaze upon the trio. Flicking her sunglasses atop her head, she began to make her way towards the girls and quickened her pace even more when the new girl, who's face Kabes couldn't seen, seemed to snatch the bag from Amanda's hands and hold it tauntingly above her head. Her prefect instincts kicked in as she quickly jogged over just as Lily rose to her feet with vehemence and charged at the other girl, wand at the ready.

"Whoa! Whoa!" Kabes exclaimed, running towards them with her hands outstretched. She slowly reached for her wand, which was tucked in the back pocket of her shorts, and held it cautiously in her hand, not aiming it at anyone. "What's going on here? Are you guys okay?" she asked, still cautious. She really didn't want to have to remove points for this type of behavior. She cleared her throat and added, "Why don't we lower our wands and talk a little about this..." her voice began to waiver slightly, but her composure stayed the same. Hyperactive Kabriel seemed to be pulling forth all the courage and prefect status she could to make sure no one managed to get sent (or hurled) to the hospital wing.

Amanda saw Lily get to her feet and tell the girl to hand over the guitar. Lily was such a good friend. But then Amanda realized how she could get the guitar back! Amanda clicked her heels and slowly rose into the air. She snuck up behind Alexis and as Lily distracted her grabbed the guitar. She landed and put it back in her duffel bag.

Then she heard a familliar voice walk over. It was the voice of her older friend, Kabes! "Whoa whoa!" Kabes exclaimed reaching for her wand in her pocket. "What's going on here? Are you guys okay?" she had asked. Amanda nodded and smiled. "Why don't we lower our wands and talk a little about this..." Kabes suggested.

"She took my guitar, but I got it back" Amanda informed her. "I veela hovered" she added showing Kabes what she could do.

<sub>Lily was angry, no, fuming, at this stuck-up girl. Lily was in no mood to let down, she would never let someone take people's possessions like that. "Do you think this is some kind of joke?" Lily said, her wand at the ready. Many people would think her crazy for this, but Lily knew exactly what she was doing. It wasn't exactly sensible, but Lily knew that if she did this, then maybe this girl wouldn't bother them again. Once, Lily jinxed a boy that had kept hitting her, bullying her, making Lily look a fool of herself and more. When the boy tried to give Lily more grief, she had cast a quite advanced jinx on him. Yes, Lily was given a Detention for it, but to Lily, it was quite worth it, as the boy never troubled her again. She might have just got a tiny bit over the top about it all, but Lily wouldn't cast any jinxes. It was just a mere threat, but if this girl did anything more... this girl was in for a taste of her own medicine.

But, at that moment, Amanda had gone behind Alexis's back and took the Guitar. Lily winked, and then smiled at Amanda as she did this, just for her to be aware that Lily knew what was going on. Amanda had then returned to her original seating position and put her Guitar back into her Duffel Bag. Then, out of the distance, Lily saw Kabes come to the scence. Oh Great, Lily thought. Kabes could of easily seen what happened and take off some points from Cossu, as she was a Prefect. Kabes had asked if they wanted to speak about this, and Lily kind of felt like some two year old. But, Lily had nothing against Kabes, she thought that Kabes was quite nice. Lily lowered her wand, and kept it in her hand, not pointing it at anyone.

Lily walked away from Alexis and back to her original seating spot as Amanda showed Kabes her Veela Hovering. Lily felt deep hatred for Alexis, more then she ever has to any other person. She glanced back at Amanda and Kabes, and realised a great resemblance in the two girls. You could easily mistake them for sisters.</sub>
