Scarlett's golden hair whipped in the early morning breeze. Many people misunderstood this girl, for Scarlett was, yes secretive, yes a tiny bit stuck up, but many people thought this girl didn't have any feelings. They should try being Scarlett, try and step into her shoes. Most nights, Scarlett had to cry herself to sleep for the mean things she was told was quite upsetting. Yes, there were times where Scarlett could be just as bad, but there is one thing that she was not. Scarlett would never insult anyone with some rude name. Actually, Scarlett would never insult anyone, however young they are. Scarlett admits to doing stuff that she regrets, but plans to improve. To improve on her anger issues, and to not let her mouth stop her from making friends. She wasn't a big fan on the little ones, but Scarlett couldn't help that for her brother would treat her poorly, like a piece of rubbish on the side of the road, but she wanted to be able to tolerate them better. Ok, so Scarlett had a lot to improve on, but she knew that she could do it better.
Scarlett walked over under a shady tree and sat under it. The place was deserted, all students were probably at lessons. Fortunately for Scarlett, it was her free period, which means she was free from lessons for an hour or so. Scarlett wasn't quite sure what to do, but this could be an excellent time to do her homework. As Scarlett begun, her thoughts were off the face of the earth, and, instead of the homework, her childhood. Her father was sitting on a bench with a weeping Scarlett beneath his arms. Scarlett didn't usually cry in front of people, but her Dad was... different. He was caring and understanding, thus he understood Scarlett completely. Scarlett was confused, and mad at her mother and brother that day. Scarlett was about 10 in that memory, and she was confused on why her mother neglected her, and why was he, Charlie, was treated like a king. Scarlett voiced out load about running away, but in herself, she didn't actually mean it. Scarlett never imagined running away, she didn't even know how to run away! Scarlett's Dad at the time didn't believe that she would actually run away, but he was very worried. But, her father couldn't do anything about it, it was almost like that Scarlett's mother ruled over him. Whatever she said, he obeyed. Many people should know how horrid her life was, not that any one would give a care...
Scarlett came to life suddenly, noticing that tears were welling up in her eyes. Her father... her wonderful father... now lying dead under the ground. Maybe he wasn't even buried, maybe he was just sent to the dump, his body discarded. Scarlett couldn't image her Dad, her only family relative she loved, dead. The only family Scarlett now knows is her mother and brother. Then, Scarlett could see a shadow upon her. Was someone spying on her? Scarlett turned around, quickly hiding any tears that spilled on her face. The last thing she wanted was anyone to see Scarlett Adams cry, she actually didn't want anyone near her right now. But she must remain civil, she must.
