ALL YOU NEED IS A LITTLE FAITH, TRUST, AND PIXIE DUST
Anya sat at the counter of her store, polishing a wand that she had just made. She sighed. She was so bored at that moment. It was the middle of the term and she was quite sure no one was going to buy a wand at that time. She basically had nothing to do to amuse herself. All the other stores had people coming in by the load. Hers was fairly vacant for most of the time. The occasional passerby wanders in to gaze at the accessories. It's rare for them to buy anything. She sighed. There were times like these where she wondered why she didn't stay in Russia and work for her father. Then, she would remind herself that she was an independent woman. She wasn't going to go back and work for her father. She was going to prove to him that she could hold her own and become a successful woman.
It was no use thinking about things like that. It was best to just keep looking forward and hope for the best. Thankfully, her boredom didn't last for long. It turned out several people were looking to buy wands. One of them was even an adult. Anya guessed that the woman was just getting a new wand. It was impossible for her not to have on in all her life. She was quite sure that the woman was a witch. She gave them all a friendly smile and began helping them find their perfect wands. She was often a good judge of character so finding them the right wand wasn't too hard. The task got a bit tedious at times. It was boring. She wanted a challenge sometimes.
Soon enough, the number of customers dwindled down again. She didn't expect another customer to come in until the next term began. That was when there was the usual line of students who came in to purchase a wand. She glanced at the clock. It was time for her break. She put the wand away in its case and set it a shelf behind the counter. Anya took out her own wand and tapped the sign in front of the door. The words changed to notify people that she would be back soon. She decided to take a walk in the park nearby. She spotted a woman who looked a little older than her. She also had the same red hair. "Hi there," she greeted, approaching the woman.
