Office Hours: The Office sign says 'Always Available' but you'll have a harder time finding the Professor than her office. However, please drop by any time.
Office Location: Above the Ancient Runes Classroom. The entrance is quite tricky to find... [/ul]
Course Description:
The Study of Ancient Runes (or Runology) is the study of the runic alphabets, runic inscriptions, runestones, and their magical history. Runic scriptures focus on ancient forms of rune-casting, rune-reading, deciphering ancient texts and landmarks, as well as the art behind their runic symbology.
Requirements: There are no extra requirements. You will however need the suggested books and saving the work done in class is helpful. All books can be bought by students in the Book Nook but you will be provided with any extra materials necessary if you attend the class.
Points Policy: The course is broken down into 4 lessons and a Class Trip. At the end of each lesson an assignment may be given. Course material will always be provided during the lesson. At the beginning of each lesson assignments set in the last lesson are due, unless otherwise specified. There are points for attendance, assignments such as essays on rune-casting or translations, class participation, quizzes, and exams. A grade will be given based on a percentage of overall points.
Grading System:
