& through stained glass eyes & AND COLORFUL TEARS, MAYBE I'LL PRETEND RIGHT NOW, BUT I SWEAR TO GOD I'M GONNA CHANGE THE WORLD. She felt new.
And she stepped down the stairs with grace and confidence, something she hadn't possessed in quite some time. Usually, she'd lock herself away in her room to do her art and over think; she could care less now. New clothes, newly dyed hair, and a new sense of life. Carelessly, the she opened the door that lead toward the outside, inhaling the autumn air and smirking. The day was just starting for her, and she couldn't explain the happiness that sat in her chest. As she walked, she thought. Those thoughts were not interrupted by the bickering of ungrateful demons, that usually writhed within her mind. Made her life hell.
But now, she danced down the walkway, free to think and feel as she pleased. It was a whole new world to her now (different, confusing) with whole new emotions. Able to think for herself made things clearer and just perfect, as she saw it. The courtyard seemed to call her name, and she was eager to satisfy it's need as she listened to her heals click against the stone, honey eyes locked on the entrance. Marionette reached it soon enough, and before entering, she looked about. Things where different. She was different, and she couldn't stress it enough. She felt like a burden had been lifted from her chest and released into the world.
"This place looks lovely," she purred, sitting down at a bench and crossing her legs. She closed her eyes, leaning back and letting out a gentle, content sigh. Now, someone just needed to talk to. Someone to talk about the weather, something.

» - - - - - - he's as blind as he can beJUST SEES WHAT HE WANTS TO SEE - - - - - - - - - - « Drystan sensed there was something amiss as, as usual, he sat upon one of the school rooftops, one leg hanging off the edge while the other was folded up to his chest with his chin resting on his knee. It was a particularly unpleasant feeling as he loved to know what happened when it comes to everyone and use that against him. His lack of knowledge on this feeling worked against him in a great deal of ways and he had to get to the bottom of it. Using his bent leg to push himself up, he stood, and what great timing that was too. Who should walk down the path under where he stood but Marionette herself.
Watching her for a moment as she walked to a bench and sat down, his eyes narrowed under the sunglasses he was wearing. He'd heard something that he didn't quite like about her, perhaps the source of his discomfort and he needed clarification. Without another thought, he jumped down from the roof, slowly down as he reached the ground, then vanished and reappeared near the girl he was currently dating. Crouching behind the bench, he used one arm to put around her shoulders, which were extremely relaxed, apparently she didn't expect his appearance at all. He let his arm hang limply there though as he learned forward so she could at the very least see him smirking at her. "Darling Marionette, it's been a while, hasn't it?"
He moved himself so that he was directly speaking into her ear now, and it would have seen a lot less intimidating if it was someone other than him doing it. His tongue tongue flicked out and curved around one of his canine teeth before continuing. "I heard an diappointing rumor lately, Nettie. They say you've stopped hearing the voices in your head, that true?" He turned his head to look directly at her through darkened shades. He didn't know how she did it. Gone from being loopy to sane within a matter of months. He didn't like it much either, it meant he'd have to work harder to get her to see things from his perspective in the future, not that it was any easier before.
