Amanda James woke up with a start. It was 8:00 A.M. Amanda felt really hungry. Fortunately, she kept a stash of bacon and cocoa in her trunk at the edge of her bed. She heated some up for her and her roommates Lily Lockhart and Alice Edevane. It was really good. Amanda loved bacon. She began to braid her hair as she took another sip of her cocoa. The cocoa was better than it was usually.
Amanda got changed into her jeans and a tee shirt. She finished up her breakfast and grabbed her broom. It was a Nimbus 2000. She walked for about five minutes before reaching the quidditch pitch. Amanda loved the pitch. She and her friend Lily often went there together to practice for quidditch. They were both on the Cossu quidditch team.
Amanda got on her broom and rose into the air. She began to do some laps around the pitch.
