Drystan opened one eye as he heard a small shuffling move past his cot, and sure enough as he raised his head he saw Klaus's retreating back leave the tent. Such an early riser. But after five more minutes lying in bed, he decided to eventually get up as well. "Maybe half an hour more..." he mumbled, closing his eyes again and falling back to sleep again.
A looooong while later, the kitsune awoke. He could feel the sun blaring through the tent, almost blinding him as he moved into a sitting position. He blinked sleepily. Was he supposed to be doing something today? Oh wait. The scavenger hunt. It probably started about an hour or two ago, at this point. "Oopsie..." he yawned, almost falling out of bed in a bit to reach for his clothes and sluggishly put them on. A lot of slow moving later and he was out of the already deserted tent and on his way towards where the trail was supposed to be. "Let's see... oh, here it is." He had been reaching in his pocket and was surprised to see what appeared to be a list of things, probably what they were supposed to be finding. Though he thought with a smirk. With any luck my 'partner' has already found everything.
He giggled under his breath as he walked, though paused as something on the side of the trail caught his eye. Something purple, a type of flower. He stared at it for a moment, then gave a slow shrug with his shoulders. "Might as well," he drawled as he bent down to break the stem of one of the lavender plants, before standing upright and studying it through slanted orange eyes. He lowered the flower to his side, looking in the direction he had been walking in. And a good thing too, it was apparently his partner. What perfect timing! "I'm not late am I?~" he inquired in a very chipper tone as he wandered on over to her, clearly pretending not to know what time it was or care about how long she was probably waiting for him.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,300,true] "I'll wait five more seconds," Cherri muttered to the air. It'd been roughly and hour and a half since she's risen. The sun now sat high and bright in the sky but her partner seemed to apparently think it was still behind the bloody trees. Stamping her foot on the rugged rocky ground she wondered if he simply forgot or just didn't care. At the moment all her mind could tell her was the latter. Letting a puff of breath into the sky she shook her head and began to walk away from the clearing. Students, from what she could see, were already happily crossing things off her list, "Because they haven't got a lazy bum for a partner." She told the trees.
Deciding that he'd just have to find her himself she stalked off in search of whatever needed finding. Pulling her neatly folded list from the depths of her pocket she trailed a finger down the list, "Probably not the first one..." she grinned, "I'll let him, or her, find that one." Letting out a slightly evil chuckle, Cherri tucked the paper away and set off. It didn't take long before she stumbled upon a large patch of knotgrass. She bent down and slide her small utility knife against the stem hoping that she wouldn't harm it too much. Standing up she gently pushed the pant into the pocket of her bag. Twisting a piece of hair around her index finger she looked at her list and noticed that knotgrass was conveniently crossed off. Strangely though, she noticed lavender was as well. It remained a mystery until a voice could be heard from behind her and she turned her head.
So this was her partner. He was standing there looking like a git and holding what looked to be lavender between his fingers. "Indeed you are." She said and walked over towards him and snatched the purple flower from his hands. "Right. I'll take that." She tucked it away with the knotgrass before turning towards him. There was no way she was going to admit that she'd been waiting for him so instead she offered him a angry look and stormed off in the other direction. "You can look for posion ivy." She said before disappearing among the trees. |

As soon as he'd made his presence known, she apparently stomped on over to him and snatched the flower from his hand. Clearly she was very angry at his sudden but extremely late appearence, and that made him all too amused, which was shown as he gave her a blatant albeit lazy smirk. "My, my. Don't schools ever teach the values of manners these days. A thank you would have been more than satisfactory in this type of situation," he purred in a wistful tone of voice as he watched her head off again, calling something back at him as she went. Drystan stood there contemplating for a moment, his bright orange eyes sly and thoughtful. Then, he just proceeded to follow her.
"Well that's no fun!" he said loudly, loping behind her, dancing and bounding around the trees until he caught up with her strides; clearly she wanted to put some measure of distance between them. Although he couldn't see why. Or maybe he did but he chose to ignore it and decide to break a few boundaries between them anyway. "This is a team building exercise, so therefore we should remain together."
[/color] He let out a soft giggle as he took a few steps forward and span so that he was innately blocking her path. He sneered as he looked down at her, then turned his attention to the ground around him. "Surely you'd want to help pick the poison ivy we need, as you can clearly see, I am without the means to pick such a vile plant up." He made a bowing action, and span around so he ended up facing her again, clearly demonstrating that he had no bag, knives or anything to pick stuff up or put them in. He crossed his arms and looked at her smugly, then proceeded to look at the ground again. "Ah!" Another sly smirk appeared as his eyes fell on the object of their 'discussion': poison ivy. It was sitting in the curve of a branch next to a tree they were standing by. He tilted his head so he would look at the female again. "Nameless girl - yes, I really don't know your name nor do I care," he started in a business-like tone. "Pick that up so we can get a move on, we don't have all day." As angry as she was, she was probably getting more so by the minute even just listening to him, which is what he was counting on. With a smug smile he bounced a few steps backwards, away from her. He moved so that his foot poked against the weed, and then back up at her again, a snake-like expression in his gaze.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/size]
