"What are you goin' to do without man mate? Actually...what will you do without Professor Barrington!?" He exclaimed to his roommate, November, and laughed at the glares and pillows that were thrown his way. Nathaniel was packing his things in his bag to get ready for the camp down at Celestial Park. It would go on for a few weeks, but Nathaniel looked forward to it. Not only would he get to spend all of his time outdoors, but he would get to experience all the fun activities that go with camping and sleeping in tents. He's never camped in his life before. Well he's slept outside, but that's only during those monthly phases that he deals with. Lucky for Nathaniel the full moon has passed just in time for the trip.
Now that he was packed, he went grinned at his roommate and went on his way. He mentioned to Morrigan that he was leaving on a trip beforehand, but wished she would have joined him. They would've spent more time together since they have been apart for so many months. But a few weeks shouldn't hurt. Nathaniel followed the group of students outside and were meant by the three Head of Houses. He was still amused that November wasn't joining them. It would be the perfect opportunity for 'star-gazing'. The trip began and it wasn't long before they had reached the meadow. The tents were set up and students were already spreading out to claim cots and the such.
He entered the tent he was assigned to and noticed he was first to enter. That only meant he got to choose a cot for himself and it was the closest one to the opening of the tent. Nathaniel sat down and began unpacking things, waiting for the bonfire to set up. He'd be out there in a heart beat because nothing beats a big fire and throwing things in it...or roasting marshmallows. By the way, he's hungry and supper definitely didn't fill him up enough. Good thing he brought some of his own snacks as he took out a bag of crisps and a couple of apples.

It was really a nerve wracking decision that he made simply by agreeing to come along on this camp trip. When he first heard about it he'd been extremely adamant about not going. The amount of people there, most likely people who already knew each other, and he'd just be some bystander, observing... which wasn't too different from the usual, but still, being too much like an outcast had it's negative points every so often. It was only after Tinley first ordered him, and then almost stormed into his room to pack his bags for him that he unwillingly agreed to go. So here he was now, slowly dropping random things into his bag as slow as can be, before zipping it up and headed outside.
"It's going to be a nightmare, I just know it," Klaus constantly mumbled to himself the entire way, constantly hoisting up his duffel bag on his shoulder in an extreme show of nervousness. He continued his way up to Celestial Peak, which seemed to be getting busier and busier. Obviously this was quite the event, which he was still very reluctant to go to, but after a while he decided to make do with the hand he was dealt anyway. Surely as well the people he was sharing the tent with wouldn't be too bad. It wasn't as if he was sharing it with his cousin Drystan or anything. A small skittish chuckle escaped him at that. Oh god, he just jinxed himself didn't he?!
Quickening his pace, he reached the assigned tent, eyes wide as he slowly ducked his head in to look around. Oh, there was only one person there so far, which made him give a huge sigh of relief. "H-Hey," he spoke towards the person, smiling slightly as he stepped inside, then quickly rushed towards another cot and sat down, dumping his bag on the floor beside him. This wasn't too bad, so good so far away.

He paid little attention to what he was grabbing as he rummaged through his wardrobe as he doubted it was that particularly important. The room was quiet; save what little noise he was making packing. It had been at least a week since he’d last seen his roommate Sampson, chuckling to himself he figured the bloke was out annoying some fragile rouerie – it was almost like sport to the boy. Raif wasn’t particularly keen on the idea of camping, not in such large company, but he’d jumped at the opportunity to get out of the palace. Now he only had to make it through the next few weeks in the presence of strangers more than likely. There were very few males that he knew outside of those he shared his dorm with as there were very few he got along with. In his time here he’d admittedly spent more of his time in the company of women and he found her preferred it that way.
One of those particular girls to his surprise had signed up for the camping trip. He wouldn’t have thought Arden to be drawn to such a thing, but he was finding her to be full of surprises. With a smirk settled on his lips he shoved the rest of the belongings into his bag before tying it up and heading out the door. The palace was flooding with students, all making their way out the grand entrance and to the peaks. Raif settled in amongst the crowd, but did not welcome himself as part of it – choosing instead to keep to himself. It wasn’t as though he’d had a hard time fitting in here; the reality of the situation was that this school was nothing like Durmstrangs. He still hadn’t quite adjusted to the variety of students here and only one other here had managed to remind him of his previous school.
As he approached the tents, he scattered among the other students. The tent he was looking for was unforgivable curses. He couldn’t help but smirk at the thought, remembering the first conversation he’d had with Arden all those weeks ago in the library. He didn’t doubt he was capable, but he wondered was she? There in the middle of the tents he finally found his own, he hoped he could still get a good cot and hadn’t come in too late. Shifting the tent flap aside he met two faces, neither of which we was familiar with. Offering a nod of his head he walked over to a nearby cot, dropping his pack on the floor beside it. Well, gents. He offered by way of greeting. The name is Raif Donovan. Continuing, he looked to the others while waiting for a response.

After loitering around outside the Cossu common room for what seemed like over an hour, he finally gave up. He knew that Hyo was attending this camping thing, and that Hyo knew he was going as well. Thing was that he didn't know if the young vampire decided to sneak off before the fox even got here, or if he was waiting until Drystan left. He really needed to leave some magical listening bugs around in future. The boy smirked, shaking his head as he lifted his bag to his shoulder and continued on down the corridor. Clearly he had already come prepared for such an occasion, not that the kitsune really needed the bag in the first place, especially since he could just make things appear and disappear with a snap of his fingers. He didn't even know why he was walking, especially when he could just poof and arrive at his destination a second later. He was curious about who'd be attending though, and it was a good change to evaluate the situation better if he was walking.
Npw then... did he have everything he needed with him? Clothes: check. Toothbrush: check. Hairbrush: check. Machete: check. Unbreakable handcuffs and other bondage equipment: very much check. He really couldn't have been more pleased with himself if he tried. Soon though he came across the tends - no sign of Hyo still, which was a slight disappointment - and found the tent that he'd supposedly be staying in. narrowing his orange eyes and with another vicious smirk across his lips, he brushed aside one of the tent flaps and strolled in. "Well, well... well, what do we have here?" He quickly scanned the three people there, quickly finding Klaus and very quickly looked as if he was going to start laughing. The poor boy looked like he was going to have a heart attack, something Drystan would gladly assist with if need be.
Looking away from that one boy in particular, he looked at the other two. "I don't especially care for introductions, but you may call me Drystan. And you are...Ralf, right? If I heard correctly?" Yup, there it was. Casually forgetting people's names as soon as they just been said. Classic way to piss people off, something Drystan really had a knack for. And with another flourishing smirk at Ralf, he turned and found himself a bed, right next to Klaus, which he didn't seem to thrilled about. But hey, if he was lucky Drystan would be on his best behavior during the next several weeks. Maybe.

Never before in his life had Hyo been camping anywhere. Back in South Korea he had gone to an elite muggle school (for rich kids only) and they definitely never had gone to any camping trips or even hiking. A few times in elementary school he had gone to some forest trips, but that’s all. Still he was actually quite excited about the camping trip, although he wasn’t even sure what to expect, but bonfire sounded extremely nice and scavenger hunt seemed a lot of fun too. Yeah, this trip really should be awesome! He wasn’t quite sure what to wear though, but doubted that at least jeans would be a bad choice once they went hiking. Nothing too fancy. But did he have anything that would be fitting? He should have thought about the clothes earlier and asked her grandmother send something useful (yes, his grandmother, because his mother and father wouldn’t know what kind of clothes would be good for camping either). She would have known what to pick. Oh well. After picking up at least something and stuffing everything into his backpack he felt like he was ready to go meet all the other students and leave towards their tents.
It was quite al lovely autumn weather outside, sunny, little bit warm, but you still needed a jacket, yellow and red leaves fallen on the ground… With a smile upon his face he calmly walked forward while looking around and enjoying the nature he was surrounded by. He didn’t even notice that he was walking a bit slower than all the others which is why he came over to the tents a bit later than all the other students. All he knew was that he was supposed to go in the second tent which was called Unforgivable Curses. What a lovely sounding name that was.
Was he found the right tent he took a deep breath, wondering if all his “tent mates” were already there and whether he would have been left with the worst bed or not. Once he stepped inside the tent he first noticed someone who he hadn’t ever met before, but knew that he’s a second or a third year student. Next he noticed Klaus whom he knew at least somewhat, mostly because he was friends with Tinley and the two happened to be dating. Well, this seemed awesome and fun! Third one was… someone he didn’t know as well. He did look somewhat familiar, so he must have seen his face around. The fourth… too bad he knew this one way too well. “No.” He said quietly to himself and stepped back out of the tent before he would be noticed and turned to look around.
HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN?
How in earth did he have such a bad luck that he ended up in the same tent with Drystan when there were so many other tents too? How? He noticed that everyone was in their tents already and he couldn’t even see any of the professors from whom he could go ask if he could just change his tent. Most likely they would say no to him anyway. What was he supposed to do now?
Hyo took a deep breath, calmed himself down before stepping back inside the tent with a big smile on his face, “Hey all! It seems I’m a bit late.” He didn’t even look towards Drystan, but just faced the three others, giving them all a nod as he greeted them. After that he rushed over to Klaus as if they were best mates or something as he patted Klaus’s back a few times while still smiling like a fool. “Hey! How have you been? I know Tinley very well, she’s awesome. I really love her.” He didn’t even realize at first that he was speaking a bit fast and that he needed to pause to breathe a bit. “Well you know, not love love, because that’s your job, but like friendly love, you know?” Yeah, he really needed to learn to keep his mouth shut.
That is when he noticed that there was only one bed left and it was near to Drystan’s bed. Oh how he wanted to rush out of the tent and scream from the bottom of his lungs, but somehow he was able to keep things in control and with a smile upon his face still he walked over to his bed and started unpacking his things. “Never been to camping before. I’m quite excited!” No, he wasn’t. He had been, but he definitely wasn’t anymore. Hopefully these miserable days would go by fast, so that he could just get out of there and go back to his dorm where Drystan wasn’t able to go. “I’m Hyo Joon by the way. Just Hyo is enough though, guys.”

Whilst Klaus sat on the bed, he really wondered what there was to do now. He cast a subtle side glance at the male he was sharing the tent with, who had also not yet replied to him, and then turned his glance to the front of the structure, just as the flap brushed to the side and someone else walked in. He appeared to be another unfamiliar face to Klaus, but then again, it was hardly surprising. The boy really didn't know very many people in the school thus far, and he wasn't too eager to be thrown into a situation where he had to either, but this one seemed... pleasant enough, in a dark and Sournois kind of way. But then, the Sournois thought could be wrong, Klaus wasn't such a great judge of character so for all he knew the guy could be in either of the other two houses.
Realizing he was thinking too much, and the boy was watching him and the other person, Klaus blinked and started, he opened his mouth to speak. But then was suddenly over-ridden by another loud voice, one of which sounded vastly uncomfortable to listen to, and one he'd heard several times before. It took a while, but after staring at the ground for what seems like ages, Klaus turned his blue with pink speckled eyes to look at the imposing boy. His eyes held a shadow of some dark emotion for a moment, before they widened and started to look especially panicked. He opened his mouth to speak, but after a few seconds all that came out was a faint squeak, and then he closed it abruptly again. This wasn't good, none of it was, not at all. Everyone else in the school he could and would deal with, his cousin Drystan? Well, that was a different matter entirely.
His eyes trailed the kitsune as he picked his bed... which was much too close to his own. Klaus shivered involuntarily and was about to stand up and silently retreat from the tent like someone brainwashed, when someone else arrived. What now he thought, feeling as exhausted as he probably looked at this point, as he turned to look at who it was. Another person he hadn't met before, and if he thought Drystan seemed enthusiastic, this one was on a whole new level. Even if the act did seem rather... forced, Klaus noted, glancing at Hyo and then at Drystan, the slightest of looks passing between them. And then suddenly Klaus was caught in something, as Hyo drifted over to him and started acting as if they'd been friends forever. This, of course, was responded with a bewildered look from the sidhe. What was he doing? Did he just say that he loved Tinley? And then the person just kept on talking about a mile a minute until he finally stopped. Hyo was his name, hmm?
Klaus took the moment of silence to try and calm himself down, too much was happening too fast. He wasn't used to this, not after being lost in his own world for so long. "Well... uh... I'm..." He hesitated, casting Drystan a glaance and nervously shuffling in the spot where he sat. Introductions clearly weren't his strong suit, and as soon as he got the words out, his cousin would probably jump or make fun of him, as vindictive and immature as he was. "Klaus Salvatore. N-Nice to meet you." He finally got it out, then turned his blonde head and gave Drystan a baleful glare, as if daring him to spit out what he had a feeling the fox was going to say. Then he turned back to Hyo, looking wary. "Y-You know Tinley then?" he mumbled quietly, looking down at his lap then at the other boy again. They seemed like pretty good friends, and for Klaus he felt like making an effort to get to know his girlfriend's associates, even in a dire situation such as this one.
