Jenna was very excited for Camp Beauxbatons. She had only been camping once or twice before but she had enjoyed it when she had. Her family tended to stay in hotels whenever they went on holiday as it was so much easier than having to pitch a tent. The part Jen was looking forward to the most was catching up with old friends and meeting new ones.
Jen had already packed most of her stuff the night before, so all she had to do was put a few more essentials into the holdall. As well as the clothes she was wearing, the dark brunette had put in enough clothes to last her a few weeks which could also be worn more than once over those weeks. Placing the last few essentials (toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush and deodorant) into the holdall, Jenna zipped the bag up, then slung the shoulder strap over her body, said her final goodbyes for a couple of weeks to her puppy (who Jen was gonna miss an awful lot), grabbed her iphone which promptly went into her jeans pocket, then left the dorm, locking the door behind her. Jenna knew Lucky would be ok without her.
As Jenna was the last person to leave the dorm she shared with her best friends, she knew that Ana and Kabes had already gone up towards the campsite. In a matter of minutes, Jenna found herself outside the palace and decided to join one of the many groups of students who looked like they were going to the peak. Jenna had never been to Celestial peak before, so she had no clue where it was.
It took about half an hour to get up to the campsite and as soon as she entered it, she automatically noticed the vast expanse it took up. The sixteen year old was looking forward to finding out who she was sharing a tent with, so she wandered over to the tents, checking the bits of A3 paper hanging on them to see if her name was on any of them. Jen noticed on the first tent she looked at that her best friends were staying in it together whilst she had ended up in a different tent. When she had first looked at the campsite, Jen had noticed there were more tents on the right than on the left. She had figured this was because the boys needed fewer tents as there were less of them. Finding her way to the tent next door to the one with Ana and Kabes in, Jenna looked at the list and saw her name slap bang in the middle of it. The only name Jenna recognised on that list apart from her own was Lily's so Jen decided just to think of this camping trip as an adventure of meeting new people and coming out of her shell.
Opening the flap of the tent, Jenna quickly sauntered into it and saw a large space with 5 air mattresses spaced at even intervals. Placing her holdall by the side of the nearest bed, Jenna kicked her ankle boots off so they landed just off the head of the bed, then flopped onto the mattress and waited for the rest of her tent mates to arrive.

The day wasn't as nearly hot as she'd though it'd be and for that, Cherri was grateful. It was also the first day of the academy's camp extravaganza and she was excited to say the least. Walking with the rest of the group towards the grounds, Cherri admired all the beauty that surrounded her. Birds swooped past them chirping loudly. The sun hung above like a bright yellow ball and she wiped at her forehead. Pulling her long hair towards her she began to braid it offering herself some more relief from the heat.
It wasn't long before they reached an opening and entered what was apparently the grounds in which the festivities would take place. Stopping dead in her tracks Cherri finished her braid and tossed it behind her back. All around tents were set up and she could see that they'd been split up according to gender by how the girls split away from their males companions. Some with obvious difficulty. Chuckling she began the search for her own tent.
Number three sat in the middle and as she neared the entrance she could read, in large letters, Amorentia. "Ah, here we are." She said and walked towards the tent and through the flaps. There sat another girl whom Cherri did not know. Regardless, Cherri grinned warmly and extended her hand. "Hi. I'm Ch- Zoe." she corrected herself quickly, smile still gracing her face. "Looks like we're roommates!" Choosing the bed opposite the girl and set her bag down. Turning back around she eyed the girl curiously unsure of what she should do.

It felt like hours since the brunette had arrived in the tent known as Amortentia when in reality it was only about five minutes. Being in the tent alone made Jenna feel lonely and quite bored so she took out her les miserables book (which she very rarely dipped into now and again) from her holdall. She hadn't had a chance to read in ages as she had other things on her mind. Taking out the pillow she had packed in the holdall (which had an undetectable extension charm cast on it), Jen placed it at the head of the mattress that would be her bed for the entirety of the camping trip. The sixteen year old knew that the air mattress wouldn't be as comfortable as her bed in her dorm but she still proceeded to make herself as comfy as she could, propping herself up against the silk amethyst material. Grabbing her book, which was lying on top of her holdall, Jen then started to lose herself in the words of Victor Hugo.
About ten minutes later, Jen heard an unfamiliar female voice outside of the tent which then entered the canvas building. Putting her bookmark into the book on the page that she was reading, Jenna then placed the book back into the holdall and looked up to see the girl smiling with an outstretched hand. Jenna wasn't one of those people who ignored others so she gingerly stuck her hand out towards the girls hand and shook it. "Hi Zoe. I'm Jenna." The sixteen year old responded to Zoe's greeting. "Yep it is. It's nice to have someone else in here." Jen responded to the other girl's comment about being roommates. Jenna could feel her friendliness coming out so as she sat up and scooted to the end of the bed, she decided to ask Zoe about herself. "So how long have you been at Beauxbatons for?" The sixteen year old Cossu asked the other girl curiously. Absentmindedly, Jen started playing with the sleeve of her old navy hoodie as she suddenly blurted out, "I wonder where the other inhabitants of this tent are." Jenna needed one of her best friends in the tent with her as they both helped the brunette come out of her shell.

Is that everything packed? Lily thought to herself as she stared at her rucksack for the camp. It was finally today, the day of the camp! Lily had only packed, unpacked, and packed again at least five times, just to see whether she had everything. Her red and black checkered top suited with a pair of skinny jeans, and topped off with her converse trainers and some earrings. Lily was a rather stylish girl, and even though she was going camping, she couldn't help but try to look chic. Lily grabbed her iPod, a present from her mother a few weeks ago, and placed it in her pocket. Waving a final goodbye to her pets, and chucking the rucksack over her shoulder, Lily exited the dorm and made her way to the camping site.
It took Lily at least a quarter of an hour to reach the camping site, but when she did, Lily noticed the space of it all. She counted 8 tents with bits of paper stuck to them. Obviously the list of names for the camp, Lily thought as she neared the tents. Many students were hanging around the tent, some chatting while others with a book in hand. Lily began walking towards the girl tents, and began looking for her name.
Finally, Lily found her name, but then slightly frowned. From reading the list, she could only recognise one name, Jenna's. At least this would be a great chance to make new friends Lily concluded, as she entered the tent.
The first thing Lily saw was two girls, Jenna and another girl she had never met before. There were 5 spaced out air mattresses, so Lily chucked herself on the air mattress nearest to the girls. Lily turned to face the other two girls. "Hello!" She greeted with a grin. Lily then faced the girl she didn't know, and added "I'm Lily, who are you?"
