Did she have everything she needed with her? Had she remembered to pack everything? Hairbrush, toothbrush and toothpaste… Yes, she had packed those already. A lot of clothes, just in case. She possibly had packed too much, honestly, but you could never be too careful, could you? JUST IN CASE! Most items that she took with her were JUST IN CASE. Most likely she wouldn’t need them, but if something just happened… just in case. Perhaps her middle name should be “just in case”. Nyu Ri Just “In Case” Yang. That would fit her well. But she liked to have everything she needed and even things that she didn’t necessary need, but might need or someone else might need them. She wanted to be ready for everything and anything.
After the long walk (that had been slow, but a lot of fun, everyone chatting with each other) they arrived to where the tents were and everyone had to go to their own one to unpack their things. Nyu Ri remembered that she had been assigned to the tent number five, Dragons. She was especially excited to be part of the dragons, because… how cool were dragons, eh? She actually wasn’t familiar with any of the other girls in the tent five, but hoped that she would get to know them and make some new friends. She was always ready to make some new friends and welcomed people with open arms most of the time (there were some who irritated her though and she couldn’t get along with such as Drystan de Sauveterre).
Once inside the tent she wasn’t sure how to react. Not that she had expected anything luxury like, but… still. Well, this was a camping trip after all. Luckily because of trips in the past she had gotten used to almost anything. There just hadn’t been anything like that lately, so perhaps she had gotten a bit too used to fancy stuff. But yes, she had gone through a lot worse, so this would be child’s play. There were beds at least! She chose the bed nearest to the exit, because she was quite sure she would have trouble sleeping. She always did. But more so now that there were strangers around and she didn’t want anyone to wake up to her screaming because of her nightmares that she saw continuously. Her roommates had already at least gotten used to them and often Willow rushed by her side to calm her down whenever she woke up into yet another nightmare.
Anyway, no need to think about such things. She dropped her bag on the bed she had chosen and right away started to unpack some of the things, although some she would definitely still leave in the bag, but mostly those which she was pretty sure that she wouldn’t even need. Oh well, this definitely would be exciting! She couldn’t wait until the bonfire would be made. This was definitely a great and nice chance to normal school days. wearing: this

Arden ran a hand through her hair as she pulled all the strands together, tying them in one messy bun that flopped to the back of her head. It tugged slightly on her roots, causing her to wince slightly in pain, but she persisted - continuing to toss random clothes into her duffel bag for the silly camp trip she immediately regretted registering for. Who knew what kind of wackos enjoyed spending time in the great outdoors - let alone for longer than a night. Arden sighed and made sure she had the necessities - toothbrush, toothpaste, changes of clothes, makeup and of course, she couldn't leave her book of dark magic at home, could she? As she finished up what she needed to have prepared, she made sure to look the most at ease as she could because it would be rather blasphemous to show that she remotely cared. She knew that one boy in particular would be joining the massive group and she wasn't sure why, but knowing he would be there set her mind at ease. Otherwise, she made sure she had everything she needed - as she was sure every student was doing at that very moment if not sooner - as some light pink lipstick slid seamlessly across her lush bottom lip.
She smacked them together, making the popping noise one only thought girls who cared too much made, and she quickly slung her army green bag over her shoulder. It seemed as though she had everything. Letting her hair down, she swung her green coat over her shoulders, letting it hang loose and grungily around her. She shut her door behind her and headed to towards the doors to the school. As she assumed, there were many students who were also departing for the highly anticipated summer. She sighed and pulled some of her aviator sunglasses over her eyes and joined them in her haste. She wasn't really running late, but she did have the desire to grab a good cot to sleep on, one not quite too close to the door but perhaps nearer to the back. She walked for what seemed like forever, multiplied by a hundred due to the endless stream of students and chatter all around her. It wasn't that she felt lonely or left out, but she most certainly didn't feel welcome.
Perhaps she really needed this trip to make new friends, create new bonds that would "last a lifetime" as many other students liked to put it. Once she had arrived, she noticed the many tents, and she walked around, trying to find her own. It took her a little bit, but once she found the tent marked "5: Dragons" she knew she was in the right place. Brushing the canvas doors aside, she stepped inside, relieved to see they were much larger inside than their exteriors would reveal. She was a little irked to see another girl there already, but like the good girl that she was, she was going to set off a wonderful sense of sweetness and kindness. A bright smile upon her lips, she immediately took the cot beside the girl, although still the one on the end - furthest from the doors. "Hey." she said simply, unsure exactly where to go from there.

Noir grimaced as the sun shone in her face. She wanted to just take her pillow and place it over her head but unfortunately, it was the day of the annual Beauxbatons camping trip. She wasn't looking forward to it but she also didn't want to be left behind so she had also signed up. Both of her roommates had chosen to go so she thought that she may as well go too. She was comforted by the fact that Scarlett was going to be in the same tent as her and that Alexis wasn't. Merlin knew how she needed time away from the brat. The only reason that she was reluctant to leave her bed was that she had barely gotten any sleep. Finally, she groggily sat up from her bed and began to get ready for the day. She applied a bit of concealer to hide the dark circles under her eyes that appeared whenever she had a few restless nights in a row. Other than that, she was perfectly prepared for the day appearance-wise.
She walked over to the side of her bed and began checking the duffel bag that she had placed there. She had her toothbrush, toothpaste, and basically every other necessity needed. She had already known what to pack since she's been on a few camping trips before. As a last minute decision, she packed her deck of tarot cards and a book about Divination. The book was merely for a bit of light reading whenever she got the time. The tarot cards was for the times where she was back in her tent, being bored. She ran her hand through her dark brown curls as she thought of what she needed to bring. It looked like she had everything. With a tired sigh, she grabbed the bag and left her dorm. She joined the many students that were heading to the campsite. She listened as those around her began chattering on about all kinds of things.
There was nothing in particular that she was looking forward to. One thing she wanted to do at that moment was put down her bag. Despite the fact that she had packed only what she needed, it was still a little heavy. She began quickening her pace in hopes that she would make it to the campsite faster. She gave a sigh of relief when the place came into view. Noir scanned the line of tents looking for the one she had been assigned to. Her eyes spotted the tent marked "Dragons". She drifted into the tent, only to be met with the sight of two girls. Manners were in order as usual. "Hi," she greeted awkwardly. She wasn't sure where to start when it came to making conversation so she busied herself with finding a cot to set her bag on. She finally chose one far from the two girls. She was hoping that when Scarlett came in, she would take the cot next to Noir. Despite the fact that they shared the same dorm, they couldn't talk much since Alexis had the habit of being annoying just to get a rise out of them.

Running her slim fingers over the smooth face of her guitar, Meera let a smile grace her lips. It was the last and most important item she’d packed for the whole trip. She doubted many of the others would be bringing along such essentials, but Meera couldn’t imagine a night outdoors without her guitar – particularly not when there was going to be a bonfire nearby. Deciding that she finally had everything she needed she closed the case to her guitar, clutching the handle carefully between her fingers. She was finding herself to be rather excited for this trip as camping had been something she’d done often as a child, it was one of the few things that struck her as a happy memory. The outdoors had always been something of a second home for her, a place to escape when she’d felt comfortable nowhere else. She hadn’t had trouble settling into the palace, but still she was looking forward to the company and the chance to play some music – whether or not she was in ear shot of other company.
The walk to the peak was shorter than she remembered it. Maybe it was due to the fact that she was in good company and lots of it. The last time she’d ventured out here she had been a lone, with only a notebook and pen and hand. The trip had left her disappointed she remembered, as she’d left with the intention of writing some new lyrics, but had come back with nothing. There was a little more to look forward to this time. These were the kind of situations Meera lived for, surrounded by large groups of people and the overwhelming urge for conversation. They’d even been randomly paired with partners for a scavenger hunt, which she believed could be nothing else but fun. The entire walk, she was surrounded in excited conversation and energized excitement surrounding the next few days.
As they reached the campground, she found herself splitting from the other students while she looked for her own tent. In the days past she’d written the name of her tent on a piece of parchment so she wouldn’t forget, but she’d left it sitting on her desk sure she’d remember once she finally arrived. After all, dragons seemed easy enough to remember. It took her some time to find the tent as it was nestled along the center of all the others, but she was grateful when she did an eager smile playing at her lips. As she stepped inside she was happy to see she was not alone as two other girls already stood occupying the tent. Hey ladies! She said brightly, though she was not familiar with either of their faces. Following their lead she situated herself on a cot, laying her guitar case down carefully beside her. So since I don’t think I know either of you, surely introductions must be in order. I’m Meera. She said with a smile, pushing her red locks over her shoulder.
