Poison ivy, lavender, knotgrass, ginger and armadillo bile. Those were all pretty easy to find, weren’t they? Nothing too extra ordinary. Yuki had expected something a lot harder, but this was fine of course. At least they could get it fast done, not that he was in a hurry to go anywhere. He didn’t know who his partner would be, but knew the person would be a girl and that he most likely didn’t know her. That was also fine. He felt it would be refreshing to get to know someone new, although this stranger might just want to get the whole scavenger thing done and leave as fast as possible without even wanting to know his name. That worried him somewhat, because he didn’t want this to end up being uncomfortable and awkward for either of them. What he wanted was to perhaps make a new friend. But perhaps he shouldn’t think of any of this before he could meet up with her at least.

Once he was sure he had everything with him he left the tent behind and headed towards all the other students to see if he could find his partner. He noticed that some already left towards the forest without their pairs which worried him a bit and he hoped his own one wouldn’t be as rude to him as those people were to their partners. Why had they even come to the camp if they headed off alone? Perhaps they just wanted a head start for the scavenger hunt. Yuki wasn’t the type to do everything in order to win, but rather cared more about everyone being ok and having fun.

He looked a bit around to see if he saw anyone he knew, but it seemed all his friends had gone with their partners already or just were elsewhere at the moment. He couldn’t even see Roy anywhere which why he pouted a bit and started wondering who might be his partner. No, he wasn’t jealous. He wouldn’t be. He didn’t need to be. Still it did bother him a bit, but he decided to calm down and take his mind off of such things, thus taking the piece of parchment out of his pocket again and taking a look of the list of the things they were supposed to pick. Yup, all fairly easy to find. This shouldn’t take too long.
