Now that the school is on break, Jillian could spend her vacation relaxing. Though she spent the first day waiting on students and the professors to begin their journey to the camp grounds out at Celestial Peak. She didn't walk with them, but was there at the gates to let them out and watch as the last student passed through them. It sounded like the perfect idea to get the kids to enjoy some activities and sleeping under the stars. Also they were in good hands considering the Head of Houses went with them. She trusts that the professors will also make the trip exciting.
But the castle was quiet and some of the students headed home for the next couple of weeks. The same with the professors too because most needed their time away from these kids. This is why Jillian decided that she would visit the Boutiques for a bit of shopping. Her last visit was during winter and well...it was rubbish. The snow and slush ruined her outfit and she ended up with a cold later that night that took a week to recover. Also she met that weird man who owned The Book Nook, "Caine McLeod", she smiled. He was quite different from men she's met before, but there was little history between them and it wasn't like she left on a great note with him.
Jillian dressed comfortably before she headed out. It was quite warm outside, but the weather was cooling down these days. The end of summer felt the worst, and she couldn't wait until the autumn weather set in. She enjoys cooler weather and leaves changing more than the sweltering heat and sweat. Her walk to the Boutiques was long and she may have used a cooling charm on her outfit at some point. But she was glad to finally be there and began her window shopping by passing The Book Nook to head to The Pet Factory.

It felt like a heat wave outside. Caine didn't like th heat or anything outdoors. He liked to spend the majority of his time inside in the cool and away from the sun. He burns easily and the thought of being covered in sweat was disgusting. No, he likes to stay indoors with his books, comics, and games. He was in the back playing his console when he felt his stomach grumble. Caine looked over at the clock and holy smokes three hours passed by. "Cheese and rice!" He shouted, turning the game off and getting up off his arse and actually putting on clothes since he was in his boxers and a shirt all morning.
He washed up a little bit, messed with his hair, and brushed his teeth. The shop should've been open a couple hours again, but time slipped away. He could have lost potential customers! There could've been someone important like a professor needing to inform him of some new book to add to the inventory. What was he doing?! "Stupid question to ask yourself you dolt." Shaking his head, he went to make himself a quick breakfast of maple syrup oatmeal and toast with orange juice. The orange juice left a bitter taste at first, but eating helped.
After he finished and quickly washed the dishes, Caine literally sprinted to the front of his shop. Just as he reached the door to turn sign over to 'Open', he saw Jillian right outside. "What's she doing 'ere? Wait...why is she passing by?" Alarmed that he may have offended the Assistant on their first encounter, he quickly unlocked the door and stepped outside, trying to act in a cool and calm manner. "Good afternoon Jillian! What a pleasure to see you out and about. How're you doing?"
