Sara smoothed out her skirt tied her hair back in a ponytail. She sat down on her desk which was in the front of the room. It was beside the chalkboard which had been magically glued to the wall in the front of the room. She stood back up and walked the five feet between her desk and the board. She used her mind to lift the chalk up to the board. She used her mind to write.
WELCOME TO MYTHOLOGY PLEASE HAVE YOUR TEXTBOOKS READY FOR THE LESSON YOUR PROFESSOR, SARA BRONZE
Sara put the chalk down and sat back down at her desk. She looked at the clock and frowned. The class was supposed to be starting in five minutes. She had hoped a student would show up early to help her set up for class. No one came, so she had to do it herself. She stood up and went to the cabinet in the back of the room, she picked up the papers, and placed one at each desk.
They probably wouldn't need the papers for this lesson. However, she didn't know how far they'd get today. She sat down at her desk just when the students started filing into the classroom. She smiled. She could hardly wait to start teaching these young minds about her favorite subject. When the students had found their seats, she began with the lesson.
"Hello! My name is Professor Bronze and I will be Mythology professor this year" she said. She pointed to the board. "If you have looked, you will know that you need to turn in your textbook, to page 364" she notified them. She smiled. She could hear the flipping of the pages in the many books of the student. She already knew that this was going to be a great year.

She woke up. She didn't know how, but Amanda always woke up twenty minutes before her first class started. She stood up and got changed into cossu uniform. She had learned that she always woke up at different times than her room mates Lily and Alice, so she tied her curls into two french braids and left. She looked at her schedule. Her first subject was Mythology. Mythology, she had never taken that subject, so she had high hopes. Hopefully it would fun. She found most subjects fun, except for the ones with specific people whom she did not exactly like. She remembered her last divination class with Noir Beaumont. There was also Alexis Janes. Both girls were bratty, and evil. Amanda hated them.
She hoped that her friends would be in her class. She had quite a few friends at Beauxbatons. They were mostly all teenagers. Except for her friend and roommate Alice Edevane. She hoped there would be other kids her age. She had recently turned twelve. Hopefully there were students other than Alice and Amanda who were below thirteen. Amanda ate a quick breakfast of waffles and bacon. It only took five minutes. She didn't see any of her friends in the dining hall. Most teenagers have a tendency to sleep in. She would probably be the first person to class. She left the dining room and went up the stairs to where the mythology classroom was. She stepped inside.
Amanda placed her books on an empty desk and sat in the seat. She looked around the room. There were bright paintings all over the wall. They seemed to mostly be of tall people wearing white dresses, and holding lightning bolts and golden apples. In the front of the room was a desk and a chalkboard. There was a teacher at the desk, reading some papers. On the chalkboard was a message. A message that told her to turn her book to page 364. So that's what she did. She laid back in her seat. She looked to the door. Another girl was coming in.

Mythology? Lily said aloud as she read the timetable for that day. Why exactly she wanted to take it, Lily didn't know. Mythology was mainly about guessing what might or might not have happened, also known as Myths. Lily sighed, it was too late now to change anyway. So, she just had to get on with it. As Lily got ready for the day, she noticed that her dorm mate and best friend Amanda had already left. Lily knew that Amanda was probably at breakfast already, but Lily could easily sleep in a bit later then Amanda. A quick throw on with the hat, and grabbing her bag, Lily sped out of the dorm and to the Great Hall.
Lily could see she was early, for a change, since there were few pupils in the hall. No sight of Amanda, so Lily merely guessed that she went off to classes. As Lily sat down to eat, more people started to fill up the Great Hall. It took only a mere few minutes to eat it all, as the Great Hall began to fill up more and more. As Lily finally escaped from the Great Hall after she got caught up with a few other Cossu girls, she realised she was just in time.
It cost Lily another couple of minutes to get to the Mythology classroom, but when she did, the first thing she noticed was how there were so many paintings of greek gods and goddesses spread across the walls. A black chalkboard hung at the front of the room behind a very unorganised desk, asking to have your textbooks ready for the lesson. Then, Lily noticed the Professor and the only student so far in the class, Amanda. "Hello Professor!" Lily greeted, as she gingerly walked towards the table Amanda was sitting on. "Hey Amanda," Lily whispered, as she opened her textbook at the appropriate page.

Although he would prefer to stay in his dorm, particularly in bed because he was lazy and entirely tired from the night before, Liam reluctantly got up and gathered his books and things into his satchel. He took a brief glance at his roommate who also was getting ready for the same class. Liam took one last glance at his school outfit, which he loosened the two buttons around his neck because it felt a little too stuffy. It wasn't that he was fretting about the first day of class, but it was something really new and exciting for him. He loved to learn and catches on quickly.
He left with his roommate and headed down to the corridors. It looked like a hot mess with students jumbling about while trying to find their next class. It took one glance at the map and Liam was set on finding his Mythology class. Within minutes he came across the classroom and quickly entered, just missing the hoard of students rushing by. He turned and looked around, only seeing a couple students and the professor, who had begun class not long ago. "My apologies," he spoke softly as he quickly found a seat and turned to said page in his book.

Oliver wasn't sure why exactly he was taking this Mythology course, but it was a subject that could entertain him the least. Spending most of his childhood away from society and stuck in that castle with private tutors taught him enough to get by in each class easily. However, he knew briefly of Mythology, but never stuck to it. Other classes were more interesting like Charms and Dark Arts, but he didn't want to be like his father. So he strayed from the Dark Arts class and contemplated about Defense Against the Dark Arts. Well anyway, he was getting his things ready as well, looking over at his roommate too. Liam was a nice and quiet guy, a little dark like himself, but who doesn't have a little darkness in themselves? Oliver could say otherwise since his father was no good to him. He wants to be different from that man, but no matter how hard he tries, a part of him just comes through Oliver. He is his father's son and slowly he's beginning to take after him.
The hallways were ridiculously crowded with students trying to find their way. Many have bumped up against Oliver, but he ignored the fact that some were muggles, half-bloods, vampires, werewolves, and etc. He could instantly pick them out and that's one curse of growing up in such a prestigious family as his. They were very distinguished within the Ministries and his father had taught him young and well about all sorts of people and creatures in this world. It may have been since then that he realized he was different from his father and couldn't agree with the pure elitism and racial supremacy. This was his chance to know of different people and standards, to finally be immersed in some sort of normalcy. He followed Liam behind and entered the class, briefly glancing at the professor and her quick to start lesson. Taking a seat next to his roommate, Oliver took his book out and opened it to page three-hundred sixty-four.

Tinley joined the large crowd that had now piled into the halls. The bell had rung and she was off to her next class. Mythology wasn't one of her favorite subjects but she hoped with the new teacher that her opinions of it would be changed. After making her way back towards her room, she deposited her books and swapped them for the ones needed for her class. Stomach growling and her mind on when lunch would start she made her way to the Mythology classroom.
Making her way towards the middle of the classroom she took a seat nearest the board. Watching as the Professor began to write on the board, she extracted the correct text from her satchel and began to flip back and forth between the pages."Good afternoon." she echoed with the class, smiling along with everyone else.
After reaching the appropriate section of the book Tinley smoothed out the pages and sat there wondering what they were to do next. There were no further instructions on the board but she didn't want ask in case they were about to begin. Looking around Tinley recognized not a single person except the names of the two girls that sat across from one another. Leaning back in her chair, Tinley tapped the top of her desk with silent fingers, taking the time she had to look around the room from her seat. It a lovely room

Rowan was far from being the academic type and her lack of enthusiasm on the first day of classes only proved that. Even though she had spent most of her break studying, Rowan couldn't find it in herself to be excited while she got ready. In fact, she only went through the motions that morning. She followed her usual routine, having planned what she was going to wear the night before. When she was all ready to go, Rowan grabbed her bag and headed to the dining hall for breakfast, stifling a yawn as she went. One thing was for sure, she wasn't used to waking up so early.
Once in the dining hall, she sat among her fellow Sournois students and ate a normal breakfast of toast and fruit. As she ate, Rowan regarded the other students with a small look of disdain. Rowan was far from being a people person and would have been much happier if she were able to carry out her education in private. It was a little ironic, considering she came from one of the largest wizarding families in France. Yet here she was, at Beauxbatons, surrounded by hundreds of students, most of whom she already disliked without talking to them.
Rowan ate quickly and efficiently, not one who liked being late. Indeed, she would try and be early as often as possible. Therefore, as soon as she was done eating, Rowan took off for her first class of the day, Mythology. After having read the syllabus a few days prior, she had to admit that this was one of the classes she was looking forward to. She just hoped that she would like the professor and that they would understand that Rowan was perfectly content with taking notes silently in the back of the room.
The first thing Rowan did when she entered the Mythology classroom was head straight for the back. She payed no mind to the other students in the class as she read and followed the instructions on the board, taking out the necessary items for class. Textbooks, quills, ink, parchment. Rowan was ready for class and prayed to Merlin that the teacher would just start the lesson instead of playing introduction games. She came to class to learn to prove that she wasn't actually dumb. Actually, had it been the year before, Rowan wouldn't have even bothered coming to class and if she had, she probably would have done something like paint her nails.

Grace got up and got changed into her usual boring school clothes. She knew it was warm out, but she needed to wear her gloves. The day before, she had been painting her nails, but had been distracted by the silence. She needed a roommate. Now she had a large splatter of purple on her finger that won't come off. She put on her lightest gloves and brushed her brown hair. It was a bit knotty today. She packed her books into her brown bag and went to the dining hall. She sat at the Sournois table and had some eggs. Many students had already gone to class. She checked her timetable.
Next she had mythology. She grabbed her belongings and ran. She got to the class that she thought was Mythology. She looked at the roster and sure enough, there was her name under Sournois. She also saw two other familiar names. Rose Adams and Noir Beaumont. She went in the room. She looked around. There were six other students. She sat in middle row ready for the lesson to begin.

Reading her timetable, Jasmine became immensely excited when she saw the Mythology is the next class on her schedule. Quickly she packed all of her mythology books and her stationary sets in her bag before heading out her dorm room. Soon she was stopped by Thorn, her owl, who looked a little uncomfortable. He paced within his wire cage as much as he could, signalling he wanted to go out. Jasmine rolled her eyes. "Thorn you can't go out every single class period and expect me to be at your beck and call every time you want to come back in. I have things to do as well while you, sir, have nothing to do." Thorn only hooted at her angrily and glared at her. Jasmine returned the glare in kind until the school bell rang. "Oh no, I'm going to be late for class!" she cried. Thorn hooted again and this time Jasmine relented. She let him out carefully, making sure he didn't get anywhere near Rowan's stuff before she ran out the door. Soon, Jasmine reached the classroom, in a bit of a huff as she sat down and, following her instructions on the board, took out her textbook and turned it to page 364. Jasmine could see Rowan from the other side of the room, but Jasmine didn't bother saying hello to her roommate. Rowan needs her space. Instead, Jasmine looked around and saw that she was sitting near a girl about her age who looked like a Cossu. Amanda or something? Working quickly, Jasmine wrote a 'Hello. How are you?' to the Amanda girl and passed it to her desk without Professor Bronze noticing.
