The sun was now shining clearly through the foggy morning. Blanche was already up and setting up her classroom. The first lesson would be made up of a short introduction to Divination and she would teach the children about Tessomancy. She hurried over to open the windows up a little. She knew that the smell of tea leaves could get overwhelming sometimes. She didn't need a student fainting during the first lesson. That was definitely not the way that she wanted to start the term. Blanche didn't want to stir up some trouble for Beauxbatons. The school was like a sort of home to her. Well, it would actually be her home for the term. Many years ago, she had attended the school herself. She couldn't count the years that she had been away from Beauxbatons. It would be easier to ask how many years that she had attended the school. Honestly, she didn't even know her real birthday. That was mostly because she was born to a poor Wizarding family. All she knew was that she was born somewhere in early 1830's because her parents had passed away during the second cholera pandemic.
She could vaguely remember her older siblings. Unfortunately, the memories were mostly blurry. Her adoptive family was a different story. She could remember them as clear as day. They were the ones who discovered Blanche's ability as a seer. Her adoptive parents were able to give her an early start in the subject. Realizing that she still needed to get the classroom ready, she snapped out of her thoughts and hurried over to the shelves to check if she had enough teacups and tea leaves. She let out a small sigh of relief when she realized that she did. It would have been extremely embarrassing if she didn't have enough supplies for each student. She glanced around the classroom and saw that everything was settled. With that, she strode over to the chalkboard and began writing. She wrote out the name of the class, her name, and the lesson of the day. Blanche stepped back to inspect her work. She hoped that her writing would be understandable. Her handwriting still resembled the ones in the olden days but it was similar enough to cursive that it would be understandable, she hoped.
At that moment, the bell rang. Blanche hurried over to open the door for the first few students. She returned to her seat after that was done. She could already hear the footsteps signaling the oncoming flood of students to their classes. A few grumbles were heard. No doubt the child was upset about the term ending. She turned toward to see someone entering the classroom. "Good morning," she called out to the student.

Stifling a yawn with the back of her hand, Tinley pulled the part of her uniform over her head. Patting down the wild thing that was her hair she checked her bag once before taking her leave from the dormitories. It was early morning and her first class of the day would be starting soon. Divination was easily an interesting subject even if you had no idea what you were doing. Honestly it was. The whole way down to the Dining Chamber Tinley's mind was preoccupied with thoughts of tea cup readings and cracking open a book to learn about the different symbols and signs. Though it required less logic, something she was so used to, the entire subject was fascinating and she could only hope that their newest teacher would keep it that way.
After she finished eating and the fog had cleared from the grounds Tinley began her walk towards the Divination classroom. It was about halfway there that she wondered just how authentic the room would be. While she had nothing against a warm and cozy room the thought of heavy perfume and a strong fire going caused her to pull at her collar. Suddenly wishing a glass of water were following her she neared the classroom door. No one stood outside and from the lack of noise there was possibly no one, save the teacher, on the inside of the room. Slowly peeling open the door she stuck her head in and sighed with relief. The room was actually more comfortable than she expected. The windows were ajar letting in the cool morning air the floated over her into the atmosphere. Pulling her cloak from her shoulders and handing on the back of the chair Tinley was greeted by the professor.
Offering a nod she smiled brightly, "Good morning Professor Monette." She replied, recalling the older woman's name from her schedule.

The class Rowan was most anxious about was Divination because she knew that it was generally hit and miss class. Sometimes it would teach useful lifes skills and other times it was completely useless and taken by students who needed an easy O. Rowan had been one of those kinds of students last year, having taken Divination as a class she could have her mid-day nap in. However, the school had gotten a new Divination teacher this year and Rowan had decided to take the course again because it was a win-win situation. Either it would be a helpful class where she could actually learn things or she would have a period where she was free to catch up on her other course work. But this all depended on the teacher, therefore she tried to make it to Divination with enough time to get a feel for the techer before she had to draw in to her shell.
So, when the bell rang to signal the end of her early morning class, Rowan took off, practically running, for the Divination classroom. She wanted to be thd first to class and if she had to, she was willing to sacrifice her apperance for it. The smiled happily to herself when she arrived at the open door of thr class and saw only the techer and one other student in the room. Before entering, she took a moment to catch her breath and smooth out her appearance. A quick fluff of the hair and straightening of the uniform later, Rowan walked in to the room and quickly took it in. The classroom appearance was a great way to judge the teacher occupying it. The room seemed normal enough and with that Rowan took a seat near the back of the room (her usual place) and nodded at the teacher's greeting.
It would seem this Divination class would be a serious one but her hypothese wouldn't be truely answered until the actual lesson began. She wondered what it would be about as all her other classes had done introductory lessons and review, things that were boring to Rowan. She'd spent the break preparing for class and already knew most of lessons that had been taught. But Divination was always a wild card of a class ...
