Transfiguration Syllabus
Instructor: Professor Lindi Grant
Course Description: Transfiguration is a required class for all students First through Fifth years to take, with the option of a N.E.W.T course for Sixth and Seventh years. In this class students will learn the art of changing the form and appearance of an object, the branch classifications, the formula used in Transfiguration as well as the limitations, restrictions and dangers of the subject.
Course Requirements: Students will be provided with reading material throughout the course. Third - Seventh years will be required to complete six practical lessons on top of the theoretical lessons given.
Grading System: This course is made up of four lessons. At the end of the each lesson students will be given an assignment to be completed before class is over. Homework will be given and are due the following morning. Failure to do so will result in loss of points. Points are given based on attendance, class participation, class and homework completion, quizzes and exams as well as project and practicals.
