She collapsed onto the grass and ran a hand through her brown hair. The girl was named Annarosetta, but she preferred to be called by her middle name, Grace. It was a much better name, she assumed. She would occasionally come across other graces. But with Annarosetta, there were none. She twirled a strand around her finger. She sat up and looked at her brown bag. She didn't want to open it, for something she dreaded was inside it. Her homework.
School was something Grace tolerated. That doesn't mean she likes it, it doesn't mean she hates it. It's something she lived with. She had a sort of neutral feeling about it. But homewok, that was a completely different story. Homework, she couldn't live with. Well, she was alive, but you know what I mean. Homework was something she usually left to the last minute. But that was at Hogwarts. This was Beauxbatons and she wanted to do better.
She slowly unzipped the bag and peered inside. To her surprise, there was only a bit of mythology homework. This would be bearable. She pulled out her pencil and got started. The questions were mostly about Zeus, the lord of the universe. Zeus was weird. He swallowed Metis so that she wouldn't give birth to a son. He turned his girlfriend Io into a cow so that Hera wouldn't attack her. She looked up fr her book to see a girl.
The girl looked oddly familiar. She opened her mouth in disbelief. The girl was Scarlett Adams, her old enemy from hogwarts. She didn't know why, but the girls had Never really clicked. In their third year, a really bratty girl in their dorm had commited a crime and blamed Scarlett. Grace never liked that girl either. "What are you doing here, Adams?"

Scarlett had then chucked her book at the ground and stood up. She had replied to Grace's question, by almost repeating the question. Grace smirked. It was probably just like Scarlett to do that. Of course, Grace wouldn't know, as the girls hadn't seen each other in three years. Grace got to her feet and looked into the girl's eyes. "I'm here furthering my education, Adams" she said. "I suppose fancy shmancy Scarlett Adams is doing the same, seeing as she hasn't attended school since she was kicked out in her third year" she added.
Grace knew she was being a bit rude by pointing that out, but Scarlett was her enemy. And it was true. In their third year, a brat in their house named Izabel Gorge had commited murder and blamed Scarlett. Grace didn't know until after it had happened. That was how enemies were with each other. And Grace and Scarlett were definitely enemies. Grace had also never gotten along with Scarlett's friend Rosabella Noir Beaumont.
Grace sat down on the grass. "I'm going to do my homework before you kill another eleven year old" she said as she pulled her mythology book up to her face. She smirked. That was a good one. Yeah Grace, keep on pretending Scarlett did it.She looled up to see the girl still there. "Why are you still here?"

When a smirk lit up on Grace's face, a scowl is what could be seen on Scarlett's. Ohh, how Scarlett remembered Hogwarts days, sharing a dorm with the 'lovely and sweet' Grace. Now, the most unexpected person in Scarlett's wildest dreams just happens to appear. Like some sort of spirit that has come to haunt and annoy Scarlett for the rest of her living years.
"I suppose fancy shmancy Scarlett Adams is doing the same, seeing as she hasn't attended school since she was kicked out in her third year"
Scarlett said nothing, not at first, but if she had any desire of jinxing the Grace girl, it would of been then. "Maybe I have, Annarosetta," Scarlett smirked, she always knew that the girl hated that name. "But lets see... flying away from Hogwarts and coming over here..." Scarlett took a step towards Grace, and then breathed "How is mummy and daddy, Grace?" Scarlett smirked once more, of course she knew they had been tortured into insanity, it was completely plastered on the Daily Prophet, as well as Grace's roundabouts unknown. Probably saying 'How is mummy and daddy' in words was rather harsh, but after those years of practically being insulted, bullied... it was time for sweet revenge.
"I'm going to do my homework before you kill another eleven year old"
See? Another comment of total lies. Scarlett scowled at Grace once again, but then had an idea.
"What are you doing here, Adams?"
Of course, why would Scarlett answer such a stupid question? Scarlett pointed her wand at Grace's homework, and said softly "Accio,"The homework went in hand, and Scarlett smirked. "Lets see if you can do your homework now, Brown," TAG: Grace Brown NOTES: Sorry for my charrie's rudeness! OUTFIT: N/A |

Scarlett had asked, a smirk lighting up on her face. At least she hadn't called her Annarosetta again. Scarlett had always used the name to torment her. The girl obviously knew about Grace's parents getting tortured. So that was how she wanted to play it. Okay. Grace knew all about Mr. Adams committing suicide. Grace didn't want to give Scarlett the satisfaction of knowing that her question had bothered Grace.
So she pretended to smile. But trust me, it was hard. Smiling at Scarlett Adams was something that was just at the edge of impossible, but it was still possible. It took everything Grace had to just smile for a few seconds. But she stopped smiling immediately when she felt her homework fly out of her hands, and into those of Scarlett. "Lets see if you can do your homework now, Brown," the brat had said, a smirk lighting up on her face. "I don't need that homework anyway" Grace lied.
She really did need her homework. She wasn't going to tell Adams that, though. She would get it back later. She realized that she hadn't answered Scarlett's question about her parents. "They're doing great, thank for asking" she lied. Her parents were still in a magical hospital. Whenever Grace talked to them, they were crazy. They weren't the parents she knew. Of course this was put in The Daily Prophet years ago.
It also said that no one knew the whereabout of Annarosetta Brown. If anyone found out who she really was, she would be sent back to England to live with her horrid old housekeeper. She now did everything by her middle name, Grace. That reminded her. Years back, Scarlett's dad had committed suicide. That was all over the papers. "How's your daddy, Adams?

Brown was smiling, and it was obvious that it was fake. Very fake. Scarlett just looked at her, she was always like this. One thing that occurred to her was that she didn't exactly know who got her expelled. "And, I bet you had so much pleasure selling me out, Brown. Shouting that I committed murder, forgive me, but thats just really lame. Not as lame as you, though," Scarlett pulled off a fake smirk, this, of course, was just self pride.
"I don't need that homework anyway"
Scarlett's eyebrows shot up. "Oh really? Then you wouldn't if I did this..." She casted a spell on the homework so it was basically in ashes. "Ah, whoopsie! I am so sorry, I didn't mean to!" Scarlett smirked again, sweet revenge was on the brim of her lips.
Brown had never even answered her question about her parents, pure satisfaction. Until she had quoted that they were fine.
"How's your daddy, Adams?"
Scarlett scowled at her. She remembered the days of her father, a person she could talk to, to spill her emotions to. Now he had committed suicide... and technically it all started with Brown. If she didn't start shouting about her committing murder, then maybe she could still have her father...
