YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE YOUR EYESif ten million fireflies lit upTHE WORLD AS I FELL ASLEEP Several loud crashes sounded out at the bottom of the large fleet of stairs at the end of the entrance hall. A few seconds later, the boy who caused the noises sat up from where he'd previously been sprawled motionless on the floor, a trail of blood dripped down the side of his mouth as he gave a wide grin. Then a loud laugh followed, echoing throughout the room. That in itself rang with a joyous and amused tone; clearly the boy was quite pleased with himself, for some reason. With one hand he wiped the pooling blood from his mouth, dark brown eyes bouncing playfully in their sockets. "Again," he muttered as he climbed to his feet, blonde hair shielding his eyes for a moment. "AGAIN!" he then suddenly roared as he leapt to his feet and within a few steps had reached the skateboard he'd almost 'killed' himself with.
He stepped on the edge of it and flipped it so it landed up straight in his outstretched hand, and then abruptly shoved it under his arm, before turning his gaze towards the stairs and becoming more watchful. Then, without further ado, he span around, his eyes becoming vacant. "Bored now!" he announced as he fell back and landed hard on the last of the steps, the skateboard cluttering loudly back on the ground again. He never really was one to focus wholly on one thing for a prolonged amount of time. Even dangerous stunts happened to fall into this category. Before long though he'd almost fell asleep where he sat, leaning over his legs and almost resting his head in his lap. This went on for a few more minutes until he heard the sound of footsteps and laughter from up above him, causing him to jolt awake. "What..." he mumbled, opening his eyes and almost falling over as a few people ran past him.
The young boy blinked dizzily at them, once again his blonde hair obscuring his vision which was already making him see double without the added distraction. Watching for a moment, he staggered to his feet, a smirk forming on his lips. Now he had an idea: why not play a few 'harmless' pranks on students to pass the time? Of course, he wasn't the most gentle person in the world, and had a habit of overdoing things, but what really was the fun in only half arsing something? It had to be done all the way. He wasn't cruel in the slightest, but some ideas really couldn't be passed up. Gray looked thoughtful, which was quite a surprise even to him as he rarely thought about much and usually did everything on impulse. He'd been standing there thinking for quite a while, not noticing the students he'd first noticed vanishing out the door. The thing that did break through his thoughts though was the sound of a voice, from someone he didn't hear approach. And he really thought that he was the type to not be caught off guard, funny eh?

i’m a war, of head versus heart, and it’s always this way. "Heads up!" Marcus called as he sent a hacky sack flying towards a large group of students. While the girls fled the scene, a few of them sending some choice swear words his way, the amused cossu watch as several people marveled over it. "You've never seen one that isn't enchanted? Bummer." He replied, accepting the toy and tossing it into the air. "Well, I'll be going now." he told them hoping they wouldn't ask him to stick around. Today seemed to be one of his off days for some odd reason. He wasn't keen on opening himself up to much conversation, a past time he often greatly enjoyed. Whether it was the lack of action he'd seen prank wise, or the fact that nearly every student seemed to be in serious study mode, he couldn't really tell. It could also be that many of his mates had newer, but not better, problems to deal with. Many of them took on extra duties or acquired rather naggy girlfriends so much of their free time was taken up. Marcus on the other hand was perfectly ok with doing the bare minimum of his school work and he didn't see the point in long-term relationships. He supposed if he ever wanted to end up with his heart broken (or to break a girls heart) then he'd be more open to dating. Ugh, the very word sent shivers down his spine as he thought about it. Being his age, so he thought, was about having fun! It was of no use to him to tie himself down with a significant other when there were plenty of young girls willing to entertain him for a short while. Easy as pie with no feelings involved. Nevertheless, all this useless thinking was doing nothing to sate his boredom; in fact it was making it worse!
As he rounded a corner Marcus couldn't help but notice a rather loud voice sound off near his left towards the entrance hall. Still tossing the hacky sack he creeped closer, hoping to stay as quiet as possible as he got nearer. What he found was a sight that made him grin from ear to ear. A boy around his age, from what he could see, was attempting to kick a skateboard into his open hand. "He looks familiar," Marcus muttered to himself finding it hard to place where he'd seen this person before. Several crashes and bruises later he seemed to have finally mastered the trick. Unfortunately the reaching of this goal seemed to disinterest him in the practice as he flopped down on the very last step of the stairs, the board flying out of his hands. It landed with a loud, echoey bang. "Huh, guess that's over." he announced to the air. He had hoped for something a little better but alas that wasn't the case. He made a motion to turn away when a rather large horde of people threatened to run him down. Pinning himself to the cool wall, he shouted in annoyance at their retreating backs. "What were you're going!" he shouted at them, picking up his fallen hacky sack. "Stupid...blind...idiots...don't know who they're messing with..." he grumbled, kicking dirt after them. It was in that moment that a rather exciting idea struck him. It had been a long time since his last successful prank, no thanks his useless mates, and with his newfound annoyance came a need of playful revenge.
Chucking the ball into his pocket, Marcus bounded down the steps happily. He couldn't remember a time he'd felt more excited. It was only as he approached that he finally noticed the young lad in front of him. "Gray." he said, stepping behind the boy. He'd seen him around the school with several of their mutual mates but he'd never really introduced himself before. Now it seemed the both had the same from block which worked out well for his newly formed idea. From what he'd heard around the school this young chap was also a rather accomplished prankster himself. "Oi! Gray is it?" he called to him as he reached the last step waiting until he turned around. + tagged. gray + notes. only two years behind! i'm sorry ;_; + words. idk lol
