Feeling out of you element is never a good feeling, especially when your defining yourself. For Mirabelle, this feeling was nothing new. The feeling like your just one of hundreds in a place where you just blend, where you don't fade into the cracks in the wall or stand out in a crowd. Being raised in an orphanage prepares you for the moments when you feel like that because you are one out of how many children. Each of you are trying to out shine the others, so the family looking to adopt will pick you. Mirabelle found out her place to shine was on the quidditch pitch, soaring through the air with no fears or worries.
That's where she was headed now, so she can feel like herself again. She took in the scenery all around her as she walked to the pitch. She didn't want to miss a single detail about the grounds, but that proved to be difficult seeing as how there was more detail to the grounds then Mirabelle could keep up with. Finally, she reached the pitch and took it all in. Standing on the field was the most incredible feeling ever. She turned in a full circle, looking at the stands and goal posts. Mira decided to go and see if she could find a broom closet with a broom to use. Being a first year means that she couldn't have her own broom with her. Once she found a closet that said student brooms, she tried each one out until she found on that suited her.
As she was walking back onto the pitch, she passed the supply closet and decided to get the snitch out and use that. Once she had the snitch, she continued on to the pitch. She mounted her broom, let the snitch go, waited ten seconds, and then took off after it. Just like she knew would happen, she forgot about everything except what she was doing.
