| COUNT:xxx TAG:OPEN OUTFIT:grey pajama pantsNOTES:sucky start ): hopefully will get better, pls join<3 | “Takayama! Takayama, help me! AZUMA!” A young male’s body shot up to sit and he froze for a moment before starting to breath heavily. It never was fun to wake up thanks to a nightmare. Did anyone enjoy nightmares? Most likely not, unless they didn’t really see nightmares. Having terrifying things in your dreams didn’t necessary mean they are nightmares. But if you lose someone really important to you in a dream… that’s what makes it a nightmare. Azuma found himself wishing that the Cossu dorms would be at the ground floor, so one could easily just hop out of the window or that he would know how to fly, perhaps turn into a bird, but none of that was the case. He needed air.
He had a serious bed hair and he was only wearing grey pajama pants; no shirt, no socks, yet he pretty much dashed out of his room without thinking at all. Down to the common room he went which thankfully was empty before he left it behind as well and proceed to the dark corridors followed by the long staircases. He had been there for only a couple of days, but he already knew the palace pretty well. He had a good memory.
It was slightly snowing outside, white flakes covering the ground somewhat, but the green grass still pushed a little bit through. Azuma was breathing heavily as he walked enough far away from the palace, almost reaching the oak tree. He fell on his knees in the snow and closed his eyes as he tried to calm himself down. Soon enough the cold snow helped him to get a hold of himself and his breathing became more stable again.
After a moment he was able to get up again, and he grinned a bit at his own weakness while feeling glad that no one had been around to see that. It wasn’t that cold although it was snowing. Without a doubt a normal person would rush inside to find some warmth, but he felt the need to be in the cold right now in order to stay awake as well as in his senses. Besides he easily found some sticks nearby the oak tree, and thanks to his dad he was good with fire, so he lit them with the snap of his fingers in order to have a small campfire.
It was only around 1.30am, so he figured that everyone should be sleeping and no one would be walking around the grounds. They weren’t allowed to. It was against the rules. Just in case he climbed up the oak tree, hopped from branch to branch until he was enough high for no one to see him. It wasn’t windy, so the warmth from the fire moved up with the smoke, though obviously he wouldn’t stay all that warm. But little bit was something at least.
For at least about thirty minutes he was able to enjoy his own company. It was around 2am when he started hearing footsteps getting closer and closer. Quietly he sat on one of the branches, patiently waiting to see who would be out there so late.

xRowan liked to believe that the saying "No rest for the wicked" explained her inability to sleep. Curled up in bed with her cat Amelia, she stared at the cat and questioned why she didn't seem to hate her as everyone else did. Why she didn't avoid her or look at her mild fear, like most. She wasn't exactly sure what she had done to get this reputation of hers but sometimes, when she was speaking to others, she could understand why people generally avoided her. Looking at the sleeping forms of her roommates and then her clock, she suddenly realized it was nearing two in the morning and here she was, laying in bed fully dressed as if she was going to go out on a moment's notice. Sighing, she rose from her bed and decided now was probably as good a time as any to at least try to get some sleep. Grabbing her toiletries, she opened her dorm room to go to the washroom but before she could truly go anywhere, off went Amelia running out of the door. Gasping in shock, Rowan paused for only a moment trying to understand what was happening before turning on her heel, throwing down her toiletries in favour of her black faux fur coat (her nearest coat) and pulled on her winter boots almost as quickly as she possibly could, and took off after Amelia. Rowan had enough experience with her white cat to know that her cat had a knack for escaping from the common room, regardless of if the door was open or not. It drove her insane how it seemed as if, as soon Amelia got out of her door, she apparated outside. She was hardly inclined to run outside after the cat, especially considering the snow, but there was no way she was going to allow Amelia to leave her. Sadly, the cat was her only companion and she couldn't even begin to fathom how lonely she would be without the animal. She did, after all, put up with the animal's white fur getting all over her black clothing. As she ran, she wrangled her hair up into a messy ponytail, an unusual style for the girl as she had the habit of knotting her hands in her hair whenever the were idle. But she knew that in order to find her cat she would have to dedicate all her focus to the task, instead of worrying bout the state of her long brown locks. A few moments she finally broke free of the school and reached the grounds. Exiting the school and into the cold told her breath away and for a moment she had to stop to regain her bearings. Even though she was no fan of the snow, as soon as Rowan caught sight of the cat pawprints leading away from the school, she was grateful for it. No longer scared of awaking anyone, she called out "Amelia!" as she walked along. Although she was almost certain her cat had no idea what her name was, she liked how it gave her a sense as if she was doing more than wandering after her cat. It gave her almost a sense of direction to her search, for some reason. "Here kitty, kitty kitty." She continued her walk all the way across the grounds and before long, the cat prints brought her closer and closer to the Oak Tree. Catching sight of the tree, she quietly hoped that she wouldn't have to climb the thing to retrieve her pet. She had hurried too fast after the animal to pause and bring her wand. Quietly muttering an expletive, she continued her search. But then, she lost sight of the prints in the snow. Raising her eyes from the snow, she caught the sight of someone near the tree. She wondered how she hadn't noticed them before and a bad taste filled her mouth. She was not fond of people, and people weren't fond her. But considering how close the person was to where it looked her cat disappeared into thin air, she decided she would swallow whatever it was that made her resentful towards others. Tugging her hair out and fluffing it out around her, an attempt to achieve her typical look of intimidation, her face fell to its typical unimpressed expression the closer she got to the person. The closer she got, more and more details about the person was revealed. Such as the fact that it looked like he was a shirtless male. Her confusion only grew further but she decided to worry more about it later, after finding Amelia. She could tell he had become aware of her presence as well, the crunch of her boots in the snow drawing his attention. Taking a deep breath she spoke out , "Excuse me."
