months had passed since her transfer into the school. ah young had remained friendless for that entire time. it seemed like no one really wanted to approach her. that didn't bother her. she was okay with that. she had been alone for a good majority of her life. a few more years like that wouldn't harm her. aside from her apparent loneliness, she was doing fairly well in her classes. herbology was her least favorite though. there was something about wizarding plants that she was not fond of. she much preferred the flowers from home. potions was a particular favorite of hers though and she was quite talented at it.
today was a weekend, which meant that she didn't have any classes. there wasn't much for her to do. her homework had been finished earlier. ah young was all bundled up with a sweater and scarf. at the moment, she was wandering around in the courtyard. she enjoyed the silence that came with winter. most of her fellow students preferred to stay inside. this meant that she had the courtyard to herself. apparently, she was about to find out that it was not so. lost in her thoughts, she had managed to bump into someone. "sorry," she apologized, looking at the blonde girl in front of her.
